I want to thank Celeste personally for her attention to detail and always checking in on me to make sure everything was good. This was my first time in Vegas and was craving a Mexican style breakfast to test out the food here. It did not disappoint! Celeste was attentive to getting the food out whenever it was ready and not letting it get cold. She was very energetic and it felt like I was at home, being cared for by my mother. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Vegas for the first time based on the delicious food and the caring atmosphere by the staff. The location itself has TVs to watch sports and has a welcoming environment overall, will visit again when I'm in town. Gracias Celeste, quidate mucho y fue un placer conocerte :)

This is a nice little local place with a clean dining area and plenty of tables. Celeste greeted me and gave me a nice booth to take my time and enjoy my morning. Celeste brought me coffee, very good coffee, BTW. I measure a restaurant by many things, one of those is good coffee. She walked me through the popular items on the menu then suggested a couple things. Celeste brought me out a Cinnamon roll while I decided and I ordered the Spicy Box. I enjoyed my coffee and Cinnamon roll while I waited, not very long. The roll is flavorful and soft. The icing was just enough and not too sweet. The Spicy Box a good size portion and not very spicy, but a good flavor. The meat filling was seasoned and tender. The eggs were slightly more done than I like, but they went well with the meat and hollandaise. The bread "Box" is a unique idea. The bread is slightly sweet and very soft and delicious. Overall EGGscellent is a very good place for breakfast. Next time I'll have to try the lunch items.

I went for the carnitas stack. It was delightfully memorable. Company enjoyed: patty melt and carne asada stack respectively. Everything was soooo good! "How good was it?" It was soooo good that it was enough to overcome a chat with two men about intentional victimization of women not counting if the women thought they might get paid. My family and I came for breakfast. We are not locals. However, we were able to find this cute little breakfast spot way off the strip. I love this down home comfortable feeling. Their food was very good. Their service was friendly. In fact, our server was so sweet. We had all these different questions about menu items, and whether or not certain ingredients were inclusive in certain dishes. She went above and beyond to find out all of this information for us. I can't even begin to tell you how appreciative I was of all of this because I do have food, allergies, as well as other folks in my family. So, sometimes ordering from a restaurant where you're unfamiliar with their menu, it raises a lot of questions and concerns. She took all of them in stride and she was so quickly able to get answers for us. I know that I really appreciated that. Our waitress, unfortunately, I do not remember her name, made some really great recommendations. One of them, in fact, it was ordered by our table. It was delicious. I wasn't so sure about the combination of ingredients and what not but it really came together quite nicely. I really enjoyed their French toast. For whatever reason, on this trip to Vegas, I seem to have my heart set on French toast and trying French toast, dishes all over the city. This one was very good. It was light and fluffy. Nothing was overpowering or too sweet. It was just right. The restaurant is very clean. The servers are all very friendly. Parking is free and available in the lot just outside. Hopefully we will come and visit again.

If you're looking to escape the strip here's your spot less than three miles away. It's located in more of a residential commercial strip. Inside is bright and welcoming with some style and character. I tried the eggsplicit box and it lived up to its punny name. Bacon, poached eggs, spinach, micro greens, topped with a chipotle hollandaise sauce in a toasted cube of bread. The sauce was great, and I don't like hollandaise. I opted for fruit and the small brown had a nice variety of fresh fruit and berries, not just melon and strawberries like many places. The uniqueness of the box was what drew me to order it. I thought it was hollowed out and wondered what they did with the insides but I soon discovered it was smashed in the center to make rooms for the other items that made up the dish. At first I wasn't sure how to attack it but the steak knife sticking out of the top gave a clue. I cut a corner off, piercing the yolk of the perfectly poached egg and it immediately became a slightly (fun) messy to eat mashup of everything, including that great sauce. Maybe the best part was once the filling were gone, breaking off pieces of the perfectly golden bread box to sop up the remaining egg from the plate.

Before heading out of Vegas, I thought I would stop for breakfast at a local joint Checked out EGGscellent Breakfast & Lunch--a local favorite with a 4.8 on Google--and it did not disappoint. I got the Spicy Box, and this thing was no joke... basically built on what looked like a quarter loaf of grilled bread with Texas toast vibes The carne asada and chorizo were both top-notch Great little off-the-Strip spot if you're ever in Vegas and want a local favorite.

At Eggscellent for breakfast today. After house cleaning we deserve a fun experience and great food.

I took my wife here for her birthday and the food was phenomenal. My favorite brunch dish is anything with corn beef hash and the Irish Box was probably the best corn beef hash dish I've had to date. My wife got the Red Rock Benny with asada instead of bacon (thank you Jose for being so accommodating) and she throughly enjoyed it! We will definitely be back!

Came through to Eggscellent and it definitely lived up to the name. Even though the place was packed (always a good sign), everything moved smooth. Walked in and was greeted right away, got seated, had a drink in hand, and placed my order all within 10 minutes. That kind of efficiency is rare. Shoutout to Ismael for top-tier service--attentive, quick, and made sure everything was on point the whole time. I ordered the Eggsplicit Box with country potatoes and it did not disappoint. Solid portions, flavorful, and exactly what you want when you're coming in hungry. The food was very tasty overall and I really liked the vibe of the restaurant--great energy all around. Only thing to note: there aren't any baby changing stations in the bathrooms, so keep that in mind if you've got little ones with you. If you're looking for a spot that's busy for a reason but still runs like a well-oiled machine, this is it. I'll definitely be back.

This might be my favorite breakfast restaurant ever. The Diablo Benny is amazing. Everything is fresh and very well presented. The staff is super friendly and the portions are huge. The prices are very good and it's not far off the strip. I highly recommend this establishment. read more

After dealing with the chaotic breakfast experience on the strip, my husband and I found this great off the strip breakfast joint. It was only about a 12 minute drive from our hotel and service was excellent! Our server Angie, gave us some great recommendations for meal options and we enjoyed it so much we came back a second day in a row. On our second day our server Brenda was very pleasant as well. The food is great, the prices are reasonable, and the service is wonderfully EGGCELLENT !!! If you want a great breakfast option that isn't going to break the bank and it's not super chaotic or busy in comparison to other places please visit eggcellent. read more

Awesome family business! Great food. Ambience is quaint but nondescript tucked into the strip mall. This is a gem of a place. The food is on point! Stuffed French Toast was amazingly good with the homemade strawberry compote and the creamy mascarpone cheese! Soooo good! My kids don't eat French Toast but I gave them each a bite and then couldn't keep them away from it! Made with the large croissants that you get at Costco the buttery flavor was so intense and decadent but so delectable! Service staff is friendly and do a great job of serving all of the hungry patrons during busy hours! We found this place on a Sunday when iHop had 1hr wait which is never worth it and I'm so glad we did! Next time we visit we will definitely eat here for breakfast and lunch! My experience was the ABSOLUTE BEST!! Let's tLk about the location itself! Clean looking like you can eat off the floor no lie! Now on to the service!! My waitress Angie LOVE HER LIFE!! There's a few places I consistently think about when it comes to restaurants. Eggcellent is the only spot I'd recommend to people looking to try some amazing breakfast, however! I'd recommend getting there early as the wait can be upwards of two hours but it's well worth the wait. The skillets and omelettes have made their way to my dreams this past weekend. Be ready for a mouthgasm like you've never experienced before. read more

Went early for breakfast and no wait at all. The food was fantastic!! Came from out of town and have never had anything like this. The staff was also nice and friendly, and all adhered to the Covid guidelines on social distancing. Definitely recommend trying this place out. read more

One of the best breakfasts I've ever had. I gambled and ordered the salmon hash. I've never heard of anything like that but it was beyond great. Large pieces of salmon were grilled perfectly. There was perfectly tender asparagus along with tomatoes, potatoes and poached eggs. Too much to eat and I probably left almost half. My wife had French toast and enjoyed it but it was just French toast. The place is family owned and friendly. They are pros and really care about their food. They're in a street side shopping center a few minutes off the strip and I'll go again every time I get back to Vegas. read more

This review is solely for the service. The food was okay. Not terrible and not great. This is a review for a lunch for 2. Upon entering the place, there was no host to seat guests and no one taking down names for anyone coming in to get them seated. Once we were seated, it took roughly 15-20 minutes for the waitress to ask us if we've had our drinks taken. After ordering our drinks and having them served, the waitress again disappeared for another 10 minutes and finally took our order. Our food arriving was a whole other problem because after 30-40 min, we noticed people who arrived after us had already been served. I get it. Some food takes longer to cook and some is easier to send out quickly. It wasn't until we said something after waiting for so long that our food was just magically ready. For our troubles, we were given a cinnamon roll on the house. The cinnamon roll was as good as me slathering frosting and a dash of cinnamon on a piece of sliced bread. This was before we pointed out that they had messed up our order of eggs and we waited even longer for that. Not to mention that no napkins were ever provided until we had to remind them. To be fair, the waitress seemed to be new and appeared a bit nervous, so I can cut her some slack. What I can't forgive is her coworkers, instead of giving her some guidance or assistance, were instead gossiping about the girl in spanish. Yes, I am a spanish speaker and can clearly understand what is being said. It's super unprofessional, does not help your coworker, and for the amount of staff in house, the place was very inefficient. First impression was not great and highly doubt i'll be back. read more

Just had an awesome breakfast here! My family all choose something different. Plenty of variety in the menu. Stuffed French toast was really good. The staff was friendly and attentive. We were kept informed when their card machine was down momentarily. Maybe added 5 minutes to our stay not an inconvenience in my opinion. I appreciate being kept informed. The staff wore masks and sat parties at least 6 feet apart. We were thanked for our business when we left. Great customer service and fantastic food. Overall 5 star experience. I came here for brunch with my boyfriend for Easter. The meal was amazing paired with excellent customer service. My boyfriend ordered the Florentine Hash, the hollandaise sauce was perfect and the meal was delicious, well seasoned, toast pre buttered, sunny side eggs cooked to perfection and paired with fresh tomatoes and spinach. I ordered the El Diablo Omelette with a side of French toast. The omelette was delicious, especially if you like spicy. As my bread, I got English muffins which were also pre buttered and well toasted. Angie was our waiter and did an excellent job. Her customer service skills are exquisite! Overall the food was excellent! Service was immaculate! We will be back! read more

This place is GREAT! Wonderful find. We were in from out of state and wanted a tasty breakfast without all the Vegas Strip vibe. Here its for sure about the Bennys. Super flavorful, and the hollandaise was light and savory. We also got and order of the stuffed french toast that was delicious as well. Definently suggest getting it with the fresh strawberries. Astomosphere was very casual and the service was friendly and on point. This place for sure will be on my go to list for future vegas trips. read more

Don't let the strip mall location deter you, this place is amazing. Clean, modern decor, great service, and unbelievable value for how good the food is. My wife and I had the Hoodoo Hash and the Carne Asada Hash; both were delicious. Also ask for a biscuit instead of toast, you won't regret it! read more

I had previously reviewed this place after I ate there last year. It was delicious and I told several people about it. I tried it today after several months and it was a huge disappointment. The same meal, Florentine Hash, that I ordered about 4 prior times was not the same. It includes bacon but there were just bacon crumbs in it today. I couldn't taste any bacon at all. I found the crumbs at the bottom. There was no hollandaise sauce at all and it included about one leaf of chopped spinach. It cost almost $17 and I had a bowl of mostly potatoes sprinkled with cheese. I was totally disappointed. I won't go back. That's too much money for potatoes and toast. The server never came back to see if I needed anything. I had to flag him down to ask for my missing hollandaise sauce which had no flavor. It was previously delicious. read more

We ordered to go and ate in the car for COVID reasons but they look like they were good spacing in the restaurant. Their plates looked small but, no... they were deceivingly filling! Are you looking for a great date hole in the wall kind of place where it's very hipster but relaxing vibes and also great food and great waiters and service, this is a bad ass spot it has your very cafe vibe to their plating and choice of dishes and when you meet the staff you can't go wrong with any waiter you get they're all sweet kind and on top of everything. I came here on a date with my girlfriend and we've brought friends and family here and it just started a domino effect on everyone and my girlfriend and are always hearing about how great everyone's first impression and experience was whether it was food or service they loved it all. Please if you ever just want to take a chance at a place this breakfast spot is a HIT!! read more

The food here is incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious - but they really need to step up their dishwashing and make sure the food is served hot. There's nothing worse than ordering coffee and seeing purple lipstick on the rim of your cup. It makes you want to leave right away. Then comes the inner debate - do you say something and risk being that customer, or just wipe it off and move on? On top of that, getting food that's supposed to be hot but arrives cold is frustrating. You sit there wishing you were at home where you could just microwave it - because the food is that good and would taste even better at the right temperature. Our experience wasn't helped by our waiter, who seemed disinterested after the lipstick incident (same guy mentioned in previous reviews that comes off rude AF/ agreed!). When it came time to pay our bill, our bank cards were temporarily unavailable due to a system outage. We had the money. This was not a financial issue. It was a technical one we were actively working to resolve. Instead of being given a moment, security surrounded our table and treated us as though we were attempting to leave without paying. We were not. We never attempted to leave. I want to note that a couple of the security members were actually kind and professional throughout. A manager then approached with immediate hostility white male, tattoos, wearing a white crop shirt, and beige pants) no introduction, and no interest in hearing our explanation. I want to Emphasize That everyone working there refused to give me his name (white male) I even attempted to ask him and he walked away. He made demeaning remarks about our finances and specifically told us that if we didn't pay, he would call the police and trespass us, but if we paid, he would not. We paid. My brother sent $30 via Zelle directly to a security staff member to settle the bill. It was paid in full. He called the police anyway. And trespassed us anyway. I had offered to leave my ID as collateral, leave card information on file, or return the next morning. Every offer was refused before we even got to that point. The responding officers acknowledged his behavior was inappropriate. His own staff was visibly uncomfortable. Unless you are prepared to be treated as a suspect over something completely outside your control, I would think twice before dining here.

Breakfast, being my favorite meal of the day, we have tried most the good breakfast spots in this sin city. My partner loves eggs Benny's while I have varied go-tos and enjoy trying restaurants specials. Gina was our server and was eggceptional. I can't begin to tell you the EXCEPTIONAL food AND customer service we received at this establishment. My husband and I ordered the florentine hash and the stuffed French toast with mascarpone cheese. I've never had anything like it. I mistakenly thought my French toast had butter in the middle, but it was really melted marscapone cheese. Without asking... they brought me an extra side of marscapone cheese. We let them know that it was our 7 year anniversary and the bought us a FRESH cinnamon roll. The BEST CINNAMON ROLL I'VE EVER HAD!!! What a thoughtful thing to do and smart customer service. Stopped in for breakfast and had a great experience. The steak and eggs were cooked perfectly, flavorful, and definitely hit the spot. The food came out quickly, and everything tasted fresh. Ismael provided excellent service from start to finish. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. My girl Gina is the 1& not the 2 definitely somebody that you should see as soon as you hit that door she will give you excellent hospitality. She will give you communication. She checks the table to make sure that your order is how you want it,and if there's a problem she will fix it immediately she's like a magician. I have to say I'm really picky when I order a Reuben sandwich because I want the meat to be tender, flavorful, and sliced really thin. I decided to give the sandwich a try and I totally loved it. It was THE best Reuben sandwich I've ever eaten!!! it was absolutely delicious. And I ordered onion rings with it instead of any other side and they were also delicious. Most of the time when you get onion rings it's the skin of the onion and there isn't any "meaty" part of the onion in it. But not the case with these. And the service was great too!!! Five stars, no question. We stopped into Eggscellent while visiting Las Vegas and had the pleasure of being served by Celeste. She struck that perfect balance of friendly, professional, and genuinely engaging. She was attentive without hovering, upbeat without being over-the-top, and seemed to anticipate what we needed before we even asked. Great breakfast! Claudio greeted us at the door and was our main server throughout. We were in early breakfast so thankfully got a booth seat. The place definitely got filled up by the time we were leaving. Lots of options, almost hard to choose. The cinnamon roll was soft and gooey! I finally settled on the nasty box to try something new and it didnt disappoint. The bread was thick and soft, it was stuffed to the brim with meat! This is our first time trying Eggscellent and the name fits perfectly. Our waiter JJ was amazing and the food was great. I got the huevos rancheros with extra green salsa and it was chefs kiss. My man got the stuffed French toast; come hungry for this because it's a LOT of food. The orange juice was fresh and refreshing. The coffee was delicious and overall a great experience and we have made this place one of our go to breakfast spots when visiting.
