Upon entering this bright establishment we were seated promptly and attended to by our server Chris. He was very friendly and efficient. The place was very clean. I had waffle with bacon and eggs. The waffle was prepared perfectly. It was nice and airy plus dusted with powdered sugar and a strawberry slice on top, very delicious as were bacon and eggs. One friend had steak and eggs which he said was very flavorful. Another friend had pork chops which he devoured and said they were not dry and tender. I would definitely visit again as all prices were reasonable and staff was great. read more

We stopped by at mid-morning on a Friday and were not disappointed. I had the Caillenti Omelette with hash browns and toast. If you like a spicy egg dish this is the one! My bride enjoyed the Slam with over medium eggs, sausage and some HUGE (but very good) pancakes. Our server Jose did an excellent job taking care of us in spite of having several tables at the time. Solid diner breakfast and lunch offerings. The place is not super fancy, just a breakfast diner with your standard omelettes, skillets, egg dishes, and sandwiches. Very straightforward food and reasonably priced for the portions. The staff is friendly albeit a bit overwhelmed at busy times. I have never had a bad experience here. The place is clean and what you would expect of a diner. The bathroom is clean and tidy. When I want eggs for lunch, this is high on the list of places to go. read more

Rated number 1 on Trip Advisor, so i thought id give it a try while on vacation. The place is completely under staffed..the hostess lied to us, saying it was only a 20 minute wait..we waited 45 min. When we finally got sat, there were 5 tables that needed cleaning off, with one that had old food sitting on it for over an hour! Got here at 11:20am and am still waiting for my food at 12:40pm..does NOT live up to the hype! UPDATE: Its 1:03 and the table just now got cleaned up! read more

Breakfast is my thing. I love high-quality, 'gourmet-type' breakfasts. I've been searching for the perfect breakfast place in Las Vegas for 30 years. And I just found it. It's that good. I used to eat at one breakfast restaurant every day for 6 years...but the same thing, because nothing else appealed to me. The sheer breadth of the menu at Eggscellent blew me away... Looking for a different place for breakfast, the Mrs found Eggs & More. Once inside we were impressed with how neat & clean it was. Gissel seated us right away & was a great waitress who kept an eye on us during our meal, refreshing our drinks. The Mrs had an egg Benedict with sausage. Not only was it tasty, it had to be one of the prettiest meal she's ever eaten. I went with the American classic; eggs & sausage, which was also good. Gissel said they've been open for six months. Kind of a tough review to write as I know this place is relatively new and our server was really nice but the expectations were just not met. We were sat right away, but waited at least 20 minutes to have our order taken, which isn't the end of the world but definitely goes into part of the issue, they're definitely short staffed. After ordering, we waited another 20+ minutes for food (again, not the end of the world but still was a little bit long) for us to receive 2 of the 4 things we ordered. We got our two main things, the hoodoo hash and the chicken stacker (don't remember the exact name). I'm sorry, the hoodoo hash was not it, my "poached" eggs on top were VERY noticeable overcooked, hard, no yolk, boiled to death and the brisket inside was so bizarre, stringy, chewy, no flavor. As shown in the picture, it was not appetizing. On paper, it's sad because it's everything I like, sweet potato's, eggs, cheese, brisket, but it literally was not edible. It was also supposed to come with toast? Never came. My wife ordered the chicken sticker which was good. To be honest, it wasn't anything I'd go out of my way for again but it was at least worth paying for. Another five minutes or so go by and we got our hash browns and English muffin that we ordered, they were good. Then we waited another 5-10 mins for our waffle, which was also good. All of this to say, I feel bad for the server as she obviously had too many tables and with the food coming out at different times I'm sure it's hard for her to make sure everyone gets everything they ordered. I wish this place the best but it's not somewhere I'd go back to as it is now. read more

I met a friend here for breakfast. I found it on Yelp and knew it would be close to where the friend lives. We met at 9 AM on a Tuesday. The restaurant was not crowded. We were seated at a booth and took our time to look over the menu. Coffee was brought immediatrly. As it truned out, we both ordered the same thing, the Fire Benny. The menu describes the Fire Benny as having grilled English muffins topped with andouille, habanero sausage, roasted peppers, and avocado. The andouille and habanero sausage were in small squares on top of the muffins--the eggs on them, and then topped with Hollondaise. There was a slice of orange and some avocado slices. We both got hash brown potatoes. The Benny was good but I wouldn't call it as Fire. The pieces of sausage and andouille were very small and they added little flavor to the Benny much less any fire. The breakfast was OK. Service was very good. There was a free cinnamon bun with a Yelp check in. I got the bun and had it boxed to bring home. It was quite good. read more

Well.....I did it, I went back and it was my choice. I was craving Chilaquiles and It was the closest place I could think of that had them, I have been having tummy issues and didn't want to go across town to my first choice so I said, well, it's been 6 months since I have been here so let's see..... The Menu has not changed at all, despite my requests and suggestions to management to add Vegan options for people who are lactose intolerant and vegan of course.... Other places in the area are getting with the program but if you have tummy issues like I do or you care about animals, this place won't work too well for you. I ordered my breakfast--Chilaquiles minus the cheese, sour cream and Beans--I have no idea (and they have no idea) if the beans are vegetarian or contain Lard so I chose to get hashbrowns and mix them in instead. My friend got Bacon and Eggs--He asked for 3 eggs, got 2 eggs and weirdly, charged for 1 egg.... Service was super slow, It took over 30 mins to get the food from the time we ordered and then when it was time to leave, we had to wait 10 mins to flag down the busboy to get the bill and a to go box, the waiter is a nice enough guy but he never checked in on us during the whole meal... Jose was a wonderful food server! I had the salmon hash and marbled rye toast. The cubed salmon, poached eggs, and roasted asparagus mushrooms and potatoes were so delicious and cooked PERFECTLY. My sister had the Monte Cristo and fruit. Both were so yummy and the strawberry compote that came with was wonderful too. Jose walked other food items past our table to show us what they looked like. We were told to come here by another couple at our hotel who specifically mentioned the Dirty Box so I had to try it. It's a mini loaf of bread carved out and stuffed full of brisket and poblano peppers then topped with poached eggs and Hollandaise sauce. It was excellent although I preferred the Andouille sausage I stole from my husband's Fire Benny over my brisket. There's an offer in the menu for a free French toast if you tag them on social media but I'm allergic to cinnamon, so our server was kind enough to offer us a pancake instead. Both of our hash browns were over-salted by themselves, but with ketchup on top they were still great. Very crispy and delicious. Parking is ample and there's quite a bit of seating indoors. We came at 1000 on a Sunday and it was pretty sparse but got much busier towards the end of our meal. read more

They have a video poker bar from the old business but it looked pretty dead [EDIT: I did overlook the alcohol options on the menu] The main dining room seems like a Mexican-style rustic diner, but the music is American oldies. The Chorizo omelet ($15.99) sounded interesting, and it really was a great option. Tender egg, finely ground sausage with warming spices, onions, mild peppers, creme fraiche, a mild salsa on the side, and an optional (for me anyway) not-as-mild roasted chili were a great combo. They offer one side with that omelet, and I chose two pancakes. I went for the Mexican Cajeta Pancakes (+$1.99), which were fluffy enough but not the absolute best. I did enjoy them with the dulce de leche and condensed milk combo more than the side syrup. I also asked the server for an agua fresca recommendation and went with it. The Jamaica ($3.49) wouldn't have been my choice, but the mildly sweet concoction worked great in between bites of chorizo omelet and also stayed sweet enough between pancake bites while revealing more of the tart hibiscus notes. Huevos Avenue is a very good overall restaurant that deserves much more business than I witnessed today, especially considering that Henderson still does not have as many great spots as it should. So I was craving a sandwich and my husband got a half day at work, so we decided to come in and…read moregrab some sandwiches for lunch. I had called around 10:05AM to make sure they were open (it was a holiday) and the person on the phone was super helpful and friendly. Walking in, it's clean and very nice looking inside. I would definitely choose to actually dine-in one day given the chance. The person at the counter (who I think answered the phone earlier was super friendly and helpful, especially explaining how things worked (we had never eaten here before.) Thankfully we perused the menu before coming in because everything sounded good and we could not decided what to get. I do think we made great choices and found the sandwiches really delicious and hearty. There wasn't anyone else in store so our order was made very quickly and we were able to head home and try them out. SO GOOD! Can't wait to come back in and try a few different kinds of sandwiches.
