Busy place on weekends but we got in faster than expected. The menu is amazing! Options for breakfast I've never even imagined! Our choices were excellent. Shared the apple Brie chicken omelette and fruit crepes. The omelette came with fruit or hashbrowns. The fruit crepes came with a yogurt berry concoction that subbed for syrup nicely. The crepes were a tad dry and could have used some butter. Coffee was good and strong. Good servers with a friendly smile kept us refilled. We will be back, maybe on a non-weekend. Just fyi, the fruit crepes were just a $3 up charge to add to our omelette, so it was a pretty reasonable breakfast, around $25 +tip, so good value for breakfast for two. read more

We tried the new location and the place was nice, the staff was attentive and it had a nice vibe. The food was okay, my wife's eggs were way under cooked and they had to send them back twice. I had the corned beef hash, it was not what I expected for house made, it was grated into little pieces and kind of looked like dog food. It actually tasted pretty good but the presentation was not great. On the other hand the drinks were great, the Bloody Mary and flavored mimosas were very tasty and looked as good as they tasted. read more

I had the white chocolate raspberry creme brûlée pancakes and a side of maple sausages. I took half of it home. It was almost as good reheated as it was at the restaurant. Delicious! A bit disappointed. Came in for a birthday brunch with a group. Celebrating 3 birthdays . We made reservations a month in advance for 11:30, we all showed up on time, didn't get seated until about 12:15/12:30... the service was subpar, we asked for drinks and they said they couldn't make them, even though they had all the ingredients on the menu (coffee, vodka, and Bailey) our food came out all separate, like 15-20 min apart, so when one side of the table was finished, the other side had just gotten their food ... the server only came back 1 time so we only got 1 extra drink. She didn't acknowledge any of the birthday girls, no offer for a birthday dessert, she simply started bringing out our checks . We paid and left. We ended up going to hash kitchen for the drink they refused to make us. They welcomed us with open arms. Made us the drinks we wanted (even though they weren't on their menu) and brought our birthday deserts and candles. Literally NIGHT and Day with service and hospitality. Came here for the first time on a Saturday at around 9:30 am. Wait was only 15-ish minutes for a table for 2 on the patio (we had our dog with us). Service was friendly, relatively fast for a busy Saturday morning, and the food was great! I had the crispy prosciutto eggs Benedict - first Benedict that I've had in a long time where the eggs were actually cooked perfectly and had a runny yolk! My partner had a classic breakfast - pancakes were really good. Will definitely return and would recommend! read more

First off the food was amazing! I would have liked to rate this restaurant a five but there were a few hiccups. I put my name in and was told a 20 min wait, that changed multiple times. We ended up sitting at the bar because three seats opened up. Sitting at the bar we probably saw more than we wanted to. There were issues with keeping up on the glassware. Multiple associates slightly wiping out glassware that we could see were clearly not clean. Two associates started to argue at one point ....That was fun! Associates putting the entire soda gun into the beverage and using their hands to fill ice into the water carafes. The reason for writing this review is in hopes that these food handling issues change ASAP. This is a great place to eat with a wonderful atmosphere. We WILL be back! read more

Anyone can make food at home but when you go out, you pay for service. My meal came out and there was a hair in it. Just remade it with no conversation with the manager. Coffee was horrible and our server never asked if we wanted any ice tea refills. Service was not that great. read more

Breakfast is my favorite meal and I was so excited to eat here. After waiting 45 minutes (which was perfectly fine because they text you when a table it ready and I solute that kind of technology!) my husband and I were sat at a little tiny 2 seater table which was in the middle of the dining area. This meant that is was a main traffic area for guests and servers, constantly walking by, not only that but it was so close the table next to us when the waiter came to take their order his butt cheeks were practically resting on our table. There are no words to express how uncomfortable I am trying to eat when butts are pointing at my food. I tried to not take notice and just took in the ambiance, I like the feel, I like how you can see the kitchen and the hustle and bustle and watching all the delicious looking meals coming out. I order corned beef hash with pancakes. The hash browns were meh, the corned beef wasn't canned which is a plus but it was just ok, not good enough for what they charged and I was very disappointed in the flavor of the pancakes, maybe you have to get one of the special ones they have with cereal and sugar on top to mask the fact that the pancake itself was reminiscent of the "just add water" box you get from the grocery store. I will say that the fresh squeezed orange juice was the most delicious glass of orange juice I ever had. Would I eat here again? I might after a bit of time has gone by and some of the trauma has worn off. I saw a lot of really good looking dishes walk by my table, and I mean a lot walked by my table. I did notice my waiter wasn't taking our order with one of the fancy Ipads like the others and did have to ask us a couple times "hey how did you want your eggs again?' And I could only think to myself....if there was only some way for you to take down our order...so it may be a while before I give this place a try again, I already have a favorite breakfast joint and they have never given me a reason to betray them. read more

The service was above average, very friendly. The food was pretty good. The only disappointment for me was that the biscuit and gravy was just a country gravy, not a sausage gravy. The waitress wasn't aware of the difference, which I explained. As far as country gravy goes, it was average, not terrible. The main course we ordered was the Gypsy steak skillet, which was delicious. Definitely one of the best breakfast places we have frequented and will now make it our regular Friday morning hotspot. I don't have any pictures because the family dug right in. The food was amazing and the portions are huge. We had the stuffed French toast, red velvet pancakes, and a chorizo skillet. The presentation was wonderful and all the good was great. The red velvet pancakes were amazing but was almost like eating a cake. So grab it if you have a sweet tooth. The skillet was super flavorful and had a kick. Lots of fresh jalapeños. I also like that you could add a full stack of specialty pancakes for a few dollars more with a skillet or omelet. This new (to Mesa) breakfast spot is awesome! So many delicious choices! Our server, Debby, shared her favorites and they did not disappoint. Started with the Eggasm, then shared the Incredible omelet and the berry blintzes. The 6 egg omelets are hearty and (after sharing between 2 adults) we took part of it home. Service is good, fast. If you know the Chandler location, you know they have things running like a machine. I live Eggstasy and was super excited when they opened in Gilbert. We have been there at least 10 times in the past few months. I must say though, their food could use just a little finesse. I have a go-to order, the Gypsy steak hash. The last few times I ordered it, it was very bland. No seasoning on the meat or hash. The last time I went, about a week ago, I ordered the steak Benedict. The muffin was soaking mush, although I am not sure why. Steak had no flavor and the sauce was the worst bland, thick almost chunky. I always get the lemon ricotta pancakes but everyone I've had them at this location they have been very dry. read more

There is A TON of different choices to choose from and that's always nice. Music was good and had me vibing. First time eating at Eggstasy on a Friday. It was busy, but we only had to wait 5 minutes. There is not a lot of walking space. I had to apologize to a guy because I could only suck my belly in so far to get through the tables. Food came out very fast and it was warm with huge portions. My husband could only eat a 1/4th of his sandwich and took the rest home. Prices are expensive. For me, my husband, and my three year old it was over $60 after tip. For the price, this will probably only be a breakfast/lunch spot for us on special occasions. My largest complaint is that they put us in the very back room and there was literally no air. No fan. No working air conditioner. We were miserably hot the entire time we were dining. I had sweat running down my legs and I had on shorts. It was not a comfortable experience. We couldn't wait to get back to our car with the air blasting. And it was 113 outside that day. I am willing to try this restaurant again, but the lack of cooled air in the back room needs to be fixed...and a few tables need to be removed so people can walk through without being touchy-feely with strangers. I ordered the breakfast quesadilla. It could have had more flavor. It needed some sort of acid to bring it to life. Salsa or something. read more

OMG! Today was our first time at Eggstasy. Our server Debby was our culinary Sherpa guiding us on an amazing breakfast journey. The innuendo of the Eggasim does not due this dish justice. It's even better that you think. Some type of magic happens when you mix the soft poached egg with the creamy potato in the mason jar that comes on your plate. When poured over the crunchy toast and crispy prosciutto it creates some type elevated Benedict-like dish that will have you making plans for you return. The blintz's would make any Jewish grandma (bubbie) jealous. They fold a pillowy crepe with a sweet creamy filling and then dust a little lemon zest on top. We will be back! read more

This place really shines in attention to detail. Service was prompt and food arrived quickly after ordering, piping hot. Portions are huge. Both my Huss d and I ordered omelettes with hash browns and multi grain toast, ham and cheese, and mine was spinach and cheese. My husband is a hash brown snob and he was impressed, hash browns were not dry and not soggy, absolutely perfect. and delicious. The toast was awesome, thick home baked bread, the butter was whipped and soft, spread easily like it should. Omelette was perfect as well, and very good. Strawberry jam was very tasty, the ones in the little glass jars, ketchup was Heinz, the best. Coffee was a tad bitter, but not bad. This may be our new favourite breakfast place. read more

We saw they just opened and didn't know anything about Eggstasy but we are fans after one visit! Even with only being open a few days, they were on top of everything. The service was top notch and the food was so good and fast. Truly, everything was just amazing. We enjoyed how light and open the restaurant is and they also have a nice outdoor seating area. The food was so so yummy. The orange juice is fresh... like actually squeezed there and is sooooo good! The service was amazing especially with how insanely busy it was. They had a lot of employees but they were all scrambling and struggling to stay afloat but they were doing it well. It was a little sad to watch what seemed like a manager just mosey around as his employees were scrambling to get drinks, glasses, etc. His bartender was barely able to stay within her own bar since it seemed like she was helping everyone else out (as a manager he should have been). She was taking trash out, running drinks, etc as he just literally moseyed around (He could've stepped in right here). I over heard another waitress stressing about how her tables were spilling drinks, food, being tough and she was cleaning it up herself... as he once again moseyed along around. It was sad to watch. I'll be back for sure anyways but I hope the next time I come he's helping out a bit more... and the employees aren't so stressed. I feel as a manager you should be where you are needed when it's that busy and he was definitely not. read more

We were excited to come here today as our last experience was great. Today was the opposite. First, we couldn't get a side plate for our french toast. Plus it was so thick that the inside is just dry. We had to wait about 15 minutes each time we wanted a Mimosa. They left our dirty plates and empty glasses in front of us for so long, I finally stacked the plates and moved them to the front of the counter, where they sat for 20 minutes. When they brought our prosciutto eggs Benedict (over easy), it was poached and the second plate they brought was dirty. The horrible service is partially because of understaffing, but also from not teaching employees to have awareness of customers. All 3 or 4 people behind the bar walked past our empty plates, respectively, for 20 minutes. And nobody notices empty glasses and asks if you want another. What a horrible experience. Back to Egg & Joe next weekend. read more

Do not eat at this place. We came to have brunch on 2/14/24. Manager/Owner was rude and disrespectful. His name is Peter Verros. He screamed at our table from across the room because we asked that our food order be cancelled. They brought out my niece's Mickey pancakes and they were as cold as they had just taken them out of the freezer. I have never been treated like this in my life. Some people should not be working in customer service or owning a business. On top of that our waitress was just as disrespectful as he was. Never again will I go to this place and eat.
