    Ah, peaceful. March 2026

Ohhhh, I'm going to like having weekly appointments for the next few months in Wesley Chapel. I can keep coming back here! Eggtown sits there cheerfully at the end of a shopping plaza on the north side of SR 56--just west of Wiregrass Mall. It has seating out front and on the side-perfect for catching good morning light while dining. It has parking in front and (I'm told) in back. And it's a great place to get a chicken sandwich! Yesss! I planned to have breakfast, when I stopped in around 9:30 on a Monday morning. But they serve lunch, too (I believe they're open until 2) and they were happy to make me a sandwich at that early hour. It comes with bacon and Swiss cheese and a tasty bun. There's also a generous side of fries and a pickle spear. The chicken was grilled and filling. The bacon was cooked well (I'm not a soggy bacon kind of gal) and the Swiss was a nice change-up from cheddar. The sandwich paired perfectly with fries that had the adored "crispy outside, soft on the inside" texture. And everything came out piping hot and really quickly!!! I paired this with a hot chocolate (it's been years since I've ordered one!) (and it got rid of my headache!) That was a big mug! It kept that large serving warm for quite a long time. And then there was the friendly and energetic service by Jacalyn. She has zip! I need to borrow that! Eggtown is super clean. And even though there were lots of people in and out, it was peaceful and didn't get loud. It has great morning vibes-keeping things "over easy" in a world full of "scrambled." I'll be back!

My family and I was visiting and decided to try out this restaurant. It was a cute spot to go to. They offer outdoor and indoor seating. The staff were welcoming and helped us out with deciding what to get on the menu. We enjoyed our food overall. In the photos, you will see what meals we had. The only thing we didn't enjoy much was the potatoes which were cooked a bit too long. Other than that, the portions were perfect, the food was tasty, and we left with a full belly!

We were seated almost immediately from walking in. Our waitress also came out quickly to welcome us. She has a huge smile and was wonderful with immediately getting us coffee while also allowing us time to further look at the menu. The menu is extensive with a mix of breakfast, lunch, and brunch options. It was so hard to choose as it all really looked so good. I ordered the chicken and waffles Benedict and he had the biscuits and gravy. My dish (pictured) was seasoned to perfection the hollandaise is rich. The chicken and waffles have a hint of maple syrup to either the waffles or the chicken batter - maybe both. It wasn't overwhelmingly sweet. It was a beautiful balance of flavors. I took home half the dish. I don't particularly like biscuits and gravy so I didn't take a picture. However, I was told it was delicious and just about the full thing was eaten minus a few potatoes. What I did notice, which is typically my issue with the dish, there was a lot of sausage in the gravy. Nice pieces too. It really did look tasty. So if this is your jam, definitely get it. I was super impressed by the sausage gravy! The restaurant was full but it wasn't too overly loud. My only complaint is that I did feel too close to the other table, typical though for most restaurants though. Service was top notch a beautiful smile with every interaction!

First time customer! We were looking for a brunch spot and saw this on Yelp and decided to try. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. The black and white decor is clean and sleek. Our server Chantal was amazing! She was so friendly and helpful. We chose the chorizo tacos per her suggestion....wow! The best breakfast tacos ever! The plates came with 3 stuffed full of goodness tacos. We also ordered the Nutella crepes that were so delicious too! The coffee is basic but they do have favored and half & half individual creamers on the table. It was our anniversary and they gave us a free muffin to go. This was a great brunch with amazing service and delicious food! Thank you so much for a great dining experience!

My wife and I really enjoyed the food and service here, definitely 5 stars. Although the menu is simple it is exceptionally delicious and nice that they keep it simple. That's not to say the menu is basic because they have great plates offered here, it's that they cook everything very well and it tastes clean and flavorful. The service was so good our waitress was polite and helpful as well as compassionate about taking care of all her customers. The restaurant itself is decorated very cutely and has a good number of seating. It was clean and the service was prompt. Definitely a must try when in the area, easily a go to for breakfast.

We had a nice breakfast here . The location is clean and staff friendly. We order the Oreo pancakes to share and they were delicious. I had the meat lovers omelette and it was very good and very filling . I also enjoyed the caramel latte was very good as well . If you're looking for good breakfast and not fast food this is the place to come . So come and Enjoy a delicious meal.

Excellent breakfast joint. Come early before 9am on the weekends, but they turn around service very fast. I have to say here. Get as glutinous, true, greasy breakfast items rather than try to go healthy

Great spot for breakfast! I was so indecisive on what to order but I'm glad I ordered the country fried steak because it was fantastic! This place has a lot of good options to choose from which I loved.

Absolutely love this local breakfast/brunch spot! The service was wonderful and fast, our waitress did come back to check in on us.Even though the space feels small, you don't feel crammed inside which is a big plus. Eggtown has a variety of breakfast and brunch options- truly something for everyone. I got the Everything Bagel and it was really good and fulling. My friend got a kids cheese omelette (as she wasn't that hungry) and we all were surprised at the portion of it! Overall a great time and I can't wait to go back! Parking may be a bit tough but there's a grass lot in the back you can park in (don't park at the bank- there's a tow away sign).

We came here for brunch and it was a nice little spot. I ordered a hot chocolate (since they only have brew coffee) but honestly it wasn't my favorite. It tasted like one of those instant mixes you just add water. The place itself is cute and simple. I got the grilled cheese and it was actually really good. My friend ordered an iced coffee and he really liked it and the pancakes looked amazing super fresh with lots of fruit in top. Service was definitely the highlight. Everyone was friendly and super attentive

I normally don't want to give a one for rating. But I was a little disappointed that my order was pre-made and sitting under a light and not made to order. I ordered a salmon omelet, loaded waffles , and grits. It was 3 of us . From when we ordered our food was out in 5 minutes, so not made to order. No smoke when we got the food, just warm. My friend had a veggie skillet and the skillet was not even sizzling. I'm a foodie and breakfast food is my love language and when I don't get made to order food , I'm not happy. The server was nice .

I've visited EggTown a few times, and my experiences have always been mixed. This time, being my third visit, I decided to share my thoughts. Overall, I find the restaurant a bit overhyped. I understand that food prices are generally high, but for breakfast food, the prices here seemed a little too steep. My husband ordered the chorizo tacos and really enjoyed them, mentioning that they were filling. He had a Diet Coke and noted that it wasn't flat, which he appreciated. Overall, he enjoyed his meal. I ordered the French toast with potatoes for my little one, expecting it to come with some fruit since we ordered from the kids' menu. Instead, it was just plain toast with syrup. The home potatoes that came with it were hard, underseasoned, and undercooked. They served large pieces for a toddler, which was fine, I didn't have any issue cutting them but I ended up removing them from the plate because it was just too undercooked, so all my child ate was the plain French toast. I had a cup of coffee, which I've enjoyed during previous visits, especially the seasonal flavors. I wanted a second cup, but our waiter took a while to return, and by then, we were ready to leave. As for my chicken and waffles, they were tasty, but I didn't enjoy the Hollandaise sauce. I wish I had asked for it on the side since it soaked into the fried chicken, making the breading a bit soggy. The waffle itself, however, was delicious. I also got a side of cheesy grits, but I was disappointed--they were cold, and the cheese on top hadn't melted properly. The service was average; I wouldn't describe it as exceptional. They take your order, bring the food, and hand you the bill. The restaurant has a cute interior, and the atmosphere was nice, especially considering how busy it was on a Sunday morning.

This place was so cute! My mom and I stopped in to get brunch after some errands and we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived which was bustling for a Tuesday morning. My mom ordered the omelette which was huge and I ordered a skillet. So full of flavor for both meals the potatoes on mine were perfectly covered in sauce. The waitress was super friendly and packed up what we couldn't finish nicely. I can't wait to come back!

The morning drink menu was big... and there was a not so "secret menu" board that offered even more options-including the caramel matcha that I chose. It comes with caramel lava (cold foam) and a swirl in the cup. What a cool combination of flavors! And let's face it-I'd order anything with the word lava in it! They had some breakfasty items in a case-and grab and go snacks and a whole wall of cute merch. The clerk was so sunny and friendly-and patient with my first-timer rumblings. There's lots of indoor seating, shared with Taco Bus patrons-and outdoor patio tables as well. There was also plenty of parking, on a Thursday morning at 9. It's a fun spot to stop at when gassing up-or even as a destination on its own. Hurro your burro this way.

I was told they were too busy at that time and that we would need to come earlier if we wanted a reservation. Because of that, I rearranged our evening and our plans to make sure we could get there earlier and accommodate the restaurant's schedule. We arrived around 5:00 PM for our 5:15 PM reservation, so we completely understood that we were early and were prepared to wait until 5:15. What was disappointing was the attitude we received when we arrived. We weren't asking to be seated early--we simply would have been happy to be seated if a table was available so we could get our three kids settled and ready to eat. Instead, we were made to feel like arriving early was an inconvenience. At 5:15, we were ready to be seated and there were several open tables. We were told that an 8-top had just left and they needed to clean the table and floor. We understood that, but then we were left waiting without any updates while we watched other guests who arrived after us get seated. By 5:25 we had been there for 25 minutes total. With three hungry children, we decided we'd waited long enough and left to find somewhere else to eat. What bothered us most wasn't simply the wait. It was the combination of the attitude when we arrived, the lack of communication afterward, and feeling like we were being ignored while other guests were seated. The most irritating part was that we had specifically rearranged our evening because we were told 5:30 was too busy, only to arrive early as requested and then feel like our time wasn't valued. When we finally said we were going to leave, we were simply told, "Okay, have a great day," without an apology or any attempt to address the situation. We understand that restaurants get busy, that tables need to be cleaned, and that arriving early doesn't guarantee an early seating. We were not expecting special treatment. We simply expected basic courtesy, communication, and for our reservation to be honored within a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately, we left feeling very unwelcome and disappointed, and ended up taking our family to the living room for dinner and had a great experience there. After going out of our way to accommodate their schedule, it was frustrating to feel like our time wasn't considered valuable as well.
