So far.. I really like their bagels (and my hubby loved them)!! Sooo I will most definitely be coming back to buy more bagels here..I also bought some schmears..I have only tried the Salmon Schmear..I liked it.. But, I think that the staff who worked there were very nice. It would be nice if those people who worked there KNEW their products.. a bit better..(as in reading what is IN the schmears etc..) I asked and they did not know! I think that this is important..if you sell a product you should KNOW what is IN the product or at the very least some of what is in that product so that if you are allergic to an item.. you won't shell out the cash for it!! AVOID THIS PLACE. Normally this is my favorite breakfast place however the staff is RUDE. I ordered two special drinks and the woman at the front is arguing with her co worker to make it. The Hispanic woman who took my order was extremely rude, i thought she was just slow but watching her interact with other people validates my point. I am a frequent customer at this location. Usually a Middle aged gentlemen with an African accent helps me (very nice personable guy). Today I got the "pleasure" of being helped by the Hispanic lady with the beauty mark on her face (she didn't have a name tag on). She started off by rudely asking what I wanted. After telling her mine and my husbands order, she rolled her eyes and gave me attitude. My husband wanted cinnamon raisin with half honey butter and half banana with Nutella. I think this is why I got the attitude (or maybe not because this isn't the first time she's acted this way). I asked if it was possible to do so and she made it seem like it wasn't by the way she snapped her head and rolled her eyes, I told her I would even pay the up charge. Minutes later, She then asked me if I wanted my bagel toasted. Even though I told her twice by this point. I replied that I did and she rolled her eyes AGAIN! I couldn't believe it. At this point, I was already irritated with her attitude. I paid $12+ to get a major attitude and a WRONG order. She put nuts on my husbands Nutella half. Although that is a menu item, I didn't ask for nuts on it. I specifically asked for banana and Nutella. It would have taken two seconds to double check. I took my order to go, got in the car, opened the bag and showed my husband. He was upset but at this point I was so done dealing with this lady. I will not be returning. read more

I've come here twice in the past two weeks and the third time will not be the charm because there will be no third time. I was so disappointed that they ran out of bagels at 10 a.m. both days. That's like a pancake house running out of pancakes or a bank running out of money! There was no "if you wait a moment, we'll have some hot bagels right out." The response was a flat "we're out of that bagel." Also, when ordering a cafe mocha, whipped cream is always offered and both times, I got mine without whipped cream nor asked. Visiting from California, I rarely see Einstein Bagels, anyway I wanted to try something even healthier rather than a McDonald's so I decided to give Einstein Bagels a shot. Walking in, my family and I were the only ones in line, it wasn't packed or during rush hour at all. I looked at the menu and asked about suggestions because again, I've never been here before, not from the area. The cashier seemed really upset because I had questions, of course I have questions! I wasn't being annoying. I've worked in fast food which is even worse than a casual dine in. The staff rushed me and weren't all that helpful, and then when we paid she was extremely rude in asking me if I was ready. When another girl handed me our food she just threw it at us and I asked if it was "all of the three bagels in there?" and she said yes and rolled her eyes. I couldn't believe it! My dad accidentally dropped his bagel because he couldn't see that there was a space between the tables for plugs, and I get that was our fault. I just asked if they could replace it and if it wasn't, then that's okay. The cashier explained the situation to the other staff members and they made our bagel except we were getting stares and dirty looks from the staff which made us extremely uncomfortable. When she brought the bagel to us I said "thank you, i'm so sorry" and she rolled her eyes and tossed it on the table and I was in utter disbelief. I have never felt so uncomfortable in a restaurant setting ever in my life. I've worked retail and fast food and gotten the worst of both worlds and know how frustrating it can be but I just couldn't believe the way my family and I were treated. It wasn't busy, I couldn't figure out what there was any reason to treat us like that. When I asked for a comment card, the cashier acted like she didn't know what I was talking about and i said that oh I just thought you guys were being a little rude; she said I'm sorry and didn't let me finish and went to the back with the whole staff. the whole staff acted like everything I asked was an inconvenience and that really upset me because I wasn't even asking inconvenient questions, just regular customer questions, asking which bagels complimented well and if I could get a cup for water. I just ordered for a onion and spinach bagel with cheese which took 20 minutes to serve... People who ordered after me where getting served, when checked with cashier they said I will get the foodie a minute then they started processing... I can't give it a zero so I have to give it a one star. This is by far the WORST place I've visited in the area. Not only was the cashier rude, as soon as I said hi how are you she just glared at me waiting for me to say what I wanted to order but the amount of time it took for them to actually make the sandwiches was ridiculous. We actually had to give them our receipts so they could make our orders. What's the point of having the monitor display the orders if they aren't using it??? They had at least 6 people behind the line standing there doing NOTHING. Laughing and arguing in front of customers is NOT appropriate. No one was wearing a hairnet. This place is just sad. I like the MV location wayy better, but this one is closer to my house. I walked in on a Friday morning around 10. Spanish girl cashier was very rude, and all I got was a plain bagel with Strawberry cream cheese!! It took literally 16 minutes!! I was timing it b/c I had a Dr.s apmt and didn't want to be late. I come to this location frequently. So I am rating this based off my experience today. The young woman who took my order seemed irritated to take my breakfast order. As if I was doing her a disservice by being there. Then I went to check out, and because the employee did not send my order through to the register, she said "hello? What are you having?". While I was mid conversation with a gentleman in line. No smile. No customer service. Handed me my bag and I was on my way. I drive home, and I open my bag, and the entire order was wrong. My boyfriend and I went into Einstein today to get a late breakfast before work and we were immediately greeted by Vanessa ( I believe this was her name) demanding our order. We told her what we would like, an Asiago bagel with butter, bacon and a blueberry bagel with strawberry shmear, and a strawberry banana smoothie. She had an extreme attitude when she informed us that they were out of the ingredients for strawberry smoothies, like she was annoyed at our entire presence at the store. She then proceeded to make our bagels without putting our order into the register. Usually the order is put into the register and the order pops up onto a screen or prints out as a ticket, so they can assure that the order is correct. She did not put the order into the register and for some reason tried to memorize it, creating more than one problem. First of all, the girl at the register asked what we got- I was unaware of the bacon on my boyfriends bagel because he usually does not get any so I did not say that he ordered bacon. She rung us up and we waited for our bagel. While we were waiting, I heard Vanessa snap at the nice girl at the register for not ringing us up for bacon- in front of everybody, mind you. If this was a huge issue she should have addressed it in private, not for the whole restaurant to hear. Also that problem could have been avoided if Vanessa had simply put our order into the register in the first place when we ordered it from her. Then, I got our order and it was wrong. The orders were flip flopped- his asiago bagel had strawberry shmear and my blueberry bagel had butter and bacon. At first I considered not saying anything, but I considered the fact that I paid money for this and I deserve to at least have the right order- an issue that could have been very easily avoided had she followed protocol and rung up our order. I told the girl at the register and she told Vanessa who proceeded to roll her eyes. She made our bagels the way we ordered them and handed them to us. I said thank you. She did not say one word to me and walked away. I don't usually write yelp reviews, let alone bad ones, but I consider myself a regular at Einstein (other locations, of course) and I have never experienced such bad service. Vanessa's attitude singlehandedly ruined my Einstein experience this morning. It is usually a pleasant experience- the reason why I go back at least once a week. The last several Sundays we have stopped in to get bagels on way to church. Lines have been long just to order however the length of wait to get the food has been really bad. I love Einstein's but this branch is AWFUL. They ran out of plain bagels and bacon (which is fine) but then they said that they didn't know how to refund me. They all seem a bit stoned (again, fine) but there are currently about 20 people waiting for food because the employees seem unable to work. They are telling other customers that they can't toast their bagels because there are too many customers. I approached the counter and asked for a refund for my two bagels. I asked if there was a problem and why it was taking 25 minutes for two bagels. The woman said, "My employees don't want to work." Then the man at the cashier came over saying he was the shift manager and the woman said "you're not a manager." There is currently no manager at the location. On top of the carelessness and lack of work ethic, they were incredibly rude to other customers waiting for food (eye rolling, not responding, etc). Starbucks was out of my coveted petite vanilla scones so I decided to try Einstein's instead. First off, the parking lot here is nuts. It was around noon on a Thursday and the place was jam packed. We could only score one of those 15 minute only spots and I actually saw a guy wandering around checking how long cars were parked. I decided to grab a turkey bagel sandwich for the drive up to New York and it was a good decision. I came in here at 745 in the morning. There was no line so I got served right away. I ordered the asparagus, mushroom and Swiss bagel thin and a southwest turkey sausage bagel thin. So.. I didnt eat the bagels right away. I actually ended up eating them around 10 in the morning. After the couple hours of hunger I open my bag, sharing with my boyfriend, and.. Service is inconsistent at this location and I can't remember the last time I saw a friendly cashier. At my last visit, they had the music system turned up ridiculously loud early in the morning. The staff members were screaming at each other like they were at a party. My sandwich was cold. This place used to be decent, but it's been steadily going downhill, and is poorly managed. They have a lot of regulars that come here regardless of the service and quality, so maybe they have no incentive to improve. Will be finding another place for breakfast. read more

The people are really nice. If you like the pretzel bagels get there early because for some reason they are always out. Today they had them, but most of the bagels were way overcooked. We asked the guy at the counter, and he dug and found one that was from an earlier batch and was ok. Got one asparagus and mushroom sandwich, asparagus ended up in the trash because it was too tough to eat. The bacon, egg, cheese one was all edible but refrigerator cold. I keep on giving this location chance after chance. Every single time I come here the food takes extremely long and sometime my order gets skipped which makes zero sense. This is a horrible way to treat a guest who continues to come in and support the business. What a great bagel! I've seen the mediocre reviews, but their bagels are as good as anyone's in this area. They are friendly and attentive. On my latest visit the bagelrista knew the exact order of the fellow behind me in line. He said to him: "Cinnamon raisin, double-toasted with lots of butter?" The guy confirmed his bagel with raised eyebrows that his order was known. Their product is excellent, and their service is good. Yes, I'd like to pay less for a bagel, but since there is no place anywhere nearby that serves such great bagels, I'd have to sacrifice a lot of quality for those savings. When I need a quick and dirty bagel fix I'll go anywhere, but when I want to enjoy a truly great bagel or impress others by bringing a great product to share, I'll come right here to Einstein Bros. My recent favorite is their cinnamon sugar bagel with honey almond schmear. I also love their salmon schmear on a toaster poppy bagel. I recommend the bakers dozen with 2 schmears. read more

If I could give this place a zero star I would. Everytime I come terrible service. Any given time I come, they could be full on staff with an empty store and I will STILL have to wait 5 mins just to give my order. Apart from this they never listen, on MANY occasions I have told them I would like the order "for here" and they pack it to go even after asking me when placing my order if I want it for here or to go.
