Texas Brisket Egg Sandwich
Carla T.

I ordered breakfast for delivery - also my first time trying Einstein bros bagels. I got the Texas brisket bagel with two eggs and on a jalapeño cheddar bagel. It was so good. The bagel itself, was perfectly baked and had a great balance of cheddar. I loved the acidity from the jalapeños. The brisket had great flavor. I enjoyed the eggs and the chipotle mayo. A great sandwich. I would definitely go again and try different items.

No indoor seating here. Not sure if that's a covid thing or a seasonal thing. Perhaps in the colder months, indoor seating resumes? There is covered outdoor seating. My order was to go. Got a jalapeño cheddar bagel toasted with butter and a regular brewed coffee. I didn't wait too long. The bagel was good. The coffee is self-serve. Good customer service. Busy parking lot! I've always been a fan of Einsten Brothers, and I don't see too many of these around, so I was happy to see this one.

Food was good and thankfully, hair free! My concern is the lack of sanitation. You can see, employees eating and drinking behind the counter, no use of gloves on ready to eat food and no hair restraint. One employees hair is even floor length! Restaurant was completely empty! No wonder why!

One morning, my wife decided to try the closest bagel place because she was craving for some baked breakfast items. I think it's safe to say this was probably one of our worst decisions. Here's the breakdown: $5.99 for the Bacon+Cheese+Egg Bagel. For the price, the amount of food was good. However, there are no more highlights worth mentioning afterwards. There were a couple of bacon strips that weren't even tasty. Every bite felt like a chore. I don't know if I was doing manual labor or eating breakfast. This bagel was unenjoyable to the maximum. My wife had the other $5.99 bagel. It was a cheesey bagel with Ham $ Swiss Cheese. I also took two bites and they had the familiar disappointing feeling as the Bacon one. My wife didn't even finish the bagel and just said 1-star. She didn't have to explain, this bagel was just bad. The cheese tasted "hard." No, you read that right, it's not the texture that is hard, the cheese tasted HARD. The bagel as a whole tasted sad... First bite had me dying and the second bite almost had me crying. But there's always an upside to everything. The portion size was good. Yeah I'm never going back.

I am without words and filled with ANGER! I ordered a Garden Avocado sandwich and contained BACON! I haven't had pork since I was a CHILD! Please note, if you have issues with this company you CANNOT call them. You can only email and write to them by mail. So over it.

I have had many a bagel in my day & I thought Einstein was pretty average. They have a good selection of bagels & spreads. However, the eggs & bacon sandwiches are mediocre. I hate places that serve those frozen egg patties run through a toaster oven. I got the vegetable on a seven-grain bagel with regular cream cheese. It wasn't bad but thought it was a bit over-priced. The ambiance it good. The service was ok but seems like it takes forever to get your food. This is not a place I would recommend unless you can't get bagels anywhere else. I have made breakfast sandwiches with frozen bagels that taste just as good.

Perfect yummyyyyy 3cheese bagel w bacon cheese scrambled &fried egg perfection at its best so Delish

It's almost like my special thing to myself that when I go on a field trip all the way to PG County I have to stop at that Einstein bagel I don't know her name and I'm so sorry but she has a purple and black hair, I love her energy great customer service to the top of the roof as well as the other employees as a friendly environment and again I will be back next week when I go to visit my mom I love you Einstein bagels you guys are the best

Bagels were warm and delicious. Coffee was good. Line moved quickly. The parking lot was a bit chaotic but was able to find a place to park.

Nice place! I surprised when I see the reviews were very low. It is a nice place to start the day. Bagels are the best.

As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the hostess who was very friendly. We arrived a bit late like 8pm and they close at 9 but luckily we were still able to be seated. Next, our waiter came over. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. He gave great suggestions for drinks, and food. We ordered a sidecar, and Oaxacan Anticuado. The side car was bit strong but delicious and the Oaxacan Anticuado was a great play on an old fashioned. Charley's is known for their whisky cocktails so it was nice to experience a great drink that was not whisky. For appetizers we ordered a dozen of the half shell oysters. 6 of them were sweet and the remaining oysters were a little salty. I really enjoyed the sweet oysters. It was my first time tasting sweet oysters. They were prepared correctly and very enjoyable. For our entrees we ordered the catch of the day which was Halibat Fish with spinach and The grilled Za'tar crusted salmon with a loaded baked potato. Both of the fish were cooked to perfection and had great flavors. Overall, it was a great experience. They offer many seafood options. So if you are looking for a new seafood restaurant I highly recommend Charley's. I will be back soon. Cheers!

We ordered nearly every premium item on the menu--from the fried oyster appetizer to the crab cakes and various entrées--and none of it delivered. The red flags started early: the staff mentioned a recent menu change but knew nothing about it, and spent most of their time loitering and joking around. When the food arrived, the presentation was poor, and the taste was extremely below average. Paying a premium price for this quality is unacceptable. This was apparently their second menu since a recent remodel, but if things don't change, they won't last. Message to ownership: shut it down, fire the executive chef, and start over.

I have to say, though busy, the service didn't miss a beat. Jenn - our server - was attentive/kind and fun. I got the filet mignon with the compound butter and my homie got some BBRibs to complement the aforementioned cornbread. The food came out fast and we got to eating. As always with every time I've been here, it slapped. Sides were solid, the steak was cooked to perfection and them ribs were disappearing off the plate! Good times. We followed up our entrees with a solid - and I mean solid - bread pudding. Jeez, this thing is decadent, but we got after it. Jenn brought us a scoop of ice cream and we went to town! Delicious. If you've got a sweet tooth, do yourself a favor and grab the Bread Pudding. It was soft, pillowy, but sweet (not overly sweet) and filling. As for ambiance, again, we were kickin it patio side and could see the water just fine. Honestly, this was a dope backdrop for our super deep convo on Frank Ocean vs. Frankie Beverley. Before I let you go, check'em out some time. You'll enjoy it. Or do you not think so far ahead?

Ava took care of us and she was simply amazing from her demeanor and kindness to her stellar recommendations. We began with their extremely fresh spinach dip that included salsa and sour cream. My girlfriend ordered the massive, warm, and yummy cornbread skillet as well as their Fiesta Eggrolls. I am not an eggroll fan but these were the best I have ever had. Absolutely fresh, flavorful, and delicious. I had the rainbow trout with spinach and mashed potatoes. The fish was fresh, light, and tasty. The trout itself was a very generous portion. For dessert, we dove into their Chocolate Uprising: Sort of like a ice cream sandwich on steroids with heavy cream and a chocolate and caramel base. It was fantastic and insane and we just couldn't finish it! I cannot remember having caramel that good (not sweet but rich). The staff is excellent. They work so well in concert from running food to clearing dishes. The bartenders are outstanding. I had a perfect Hendrick's Gin martini with blue cheese stuffed olives and my girlfriend loved her Malibu Bay Breeze. We look forward to returning -- and we'll start with the Chocolate Uprising and go from there!

We ordered the Big Eaters Platter, the Corned Beef Hash & Eggs, and shared a Nutella Crepe with Strawberries for dessert. The portions were generous, especially the Big Eaters Platter, making it a solid choice if you're coming in hungry. The corned beef hash was decent, and the Nutella crepe with fresh strawberries was a nice sweet finish to the meal. That said, I thought the food was just okay for the price. Nothing we ordered was bad, but nothing really stood out enough to make me want to come back. The quality was solid, but I left feeling like there are better breakfast options in the area for the same price point. If you work nearby or are visiting one of the surrounding medical offices or hospitals, I could definitely see this being a convenient spot for a quick breakfast or lunch. However, as someone visiting the area, I don't think it's a place I'd go out of my way to return to. Overall, friendly service and a clean restaurant helped make for a pleasant experience, but the food didn't quite justify the price. A good neighborhood café if you're close by, but probably not a destination breakfast spot.
