I have been coming here for like 4 times already. Ordered different items each time online. Easy pick-ups with no lines. Everything was so tasty. I normally don't eat cheese, but I their cheese here . I normally don't eat bacon, but I their bacon here . I normally don't eat chilis, but I their chilis here . Will be returning for more "tastings." I do have one question. What kind of "cream" do you provide for your coffee? Cuz on the table, there's a carafe for milk and one for cream. read more

We have been going to the Einstein Bagels in Pasadena and decided to try the closer one in Monterey Park this morning. We quickly found a convenient parking spot in the lot. There was only one customer ahead of us and we noticed the cashier took her order, then we waited. At the Pasadena location, an employee takes the order by the display of bagels, electronically records it, fills the order for a box of bagels, and the cashier only runs the register. That seems like a more efficient way. In Monterey Park there were at least 8 employees behind the counter doing various things like restocking water, toasting bagels, preparing orders, talking to each other, milling about while we waited for someone to help us. One of the employees finally went to a vacant register and took our order for a box of bagels. Since we knew what flavors we wanted we didn't need to see the display which is off to the left of the register. If we didn't, what would happen? Who goes where? We do compliment the employee that helped us as she was very pleasant and provided good customer service. At Pasadena we enjoy sitting outside to have bagels and coffee whereas in Monterey Park there's indoor seating. There's no ambiance, just tables inside with lots of activity going on, not a relaxing, lingering vibe. As far as the bagels, there are seeds on the bottom of the cranberry whereas in Pasadena there aren't. Not a big deal but surprising there's a difference. Tomorrow will be the taste test as we'll have bagels at home for breakfast. Overall Pasadena is still our favorite although a farther drive. To just purchase bagels on a whim we may go to the Monterey Park location. Update: The 2 blueberry and 1 cranberry bagels we ate this morning were all shaped differently, flavorless and skimpy on fruit. The cranberry was also airy, puffy and could be folded even after toasting. There was no substance to the bagel. Perhaps this is a subjective review based on our expectations but quality control seemed lacking. read more

Got there 15 minutes before closing they were out of the blueberry bagels and the jalapeño bagels, but I'll have to go earlier next time. We did select the bakers dozen donuts with the cream cheese. They were delicious. The girls in the front assisting were very nice. Definitely going back. read more

Very disappointed in this location! They only had like 3 options of bagels to choose from, I had to wait a long time for my order (after I preordered online 20 minutes before picking up), plenty of staff but they were standing around talking, then they got my order wrong. I would rather drive 30 minutes to the Pasadena location before coming back here. read more

Today I went to the new Einstein Bros. Bagels in Monterey Park, and when I got home they cheated me out one bag of potato chips. I ordered the lox bagel, a pizza bagel, a sesame bagel with double schmear, and a bacon and cheese bagel,...which should have gotten me 2 bags of chips NOT ONE! Here is what the online info says about their sandwich bagels: Several deli sandwiches at Einstein Bros. Bagels come with a side of sea salt potato chips, including the Pizza Bagel Pepperoni and Pizza Bagel Cheese, Nova Lox, Avocado Veg Out, and the Ham & Swiss and Turkey & Cheddar sandwiches. I still have the receipt to prove it also. Teach your staff properly, so they know what comes with each sandwich bagel. This is the first time I come here, and I only did it because it's 3 miles from my house,..-I've always gone to the location at Pasadena on Lake Ave., but this location is new and closer to me,..disappointed!!! read more

Funny story! I have never heard of or been too Einstein Bagels. So I was looking forward to the opening of this one because well who doesn't like bagels! I went on the first day of their grand opening and I purchased the all-nighter egg sandwich a coffee & there was some cups with small size bagels to which I asked what they were and all I was told was they were small size bagels so guess what I bought those too!! I left came home and opened the cup of bagels and noticed how hard they were and I began to wonder why they didn't offer or give me cream cheese lol but I had some at home so I dipped that small bagel into the cream cheese and took a bite and they taste like nothing so I ate some more and realized how tasteless it was. Fast forward I check my receipt to see how much I paid for those and it said it was doggie bagels (yes I laughed) I ate a doggie bagel smh In my defense the cup says nothing about it being doggie bagels lol anyway Service was good my coffee was great and I will not be buying doggie bagels again lol I will post a pic of the evidence lol read more

The bagels are big and delicious. THe schmeers are delicious and well priced. Their customer service is excellent. I forgot to pick up my baker's dozen and cream cheese. Mia helped me find my order and replaced all the order even though it was my fault for not showing up. They're very efficient at getting people through. I am so glad they opened up in Monterey Park and hope the community comes out to support them. Keep up the good work Einstein Bros! read more

Tried about 6 times. The everything bagel is the best, the cranberry is also very good. Ordered both sandwiches and take home bagels. I read the reviews and didn't place too much stock in the since the shop only opened a few moths ago. The parking is difficult since the spaces are compact and the lot is busy. The Ralph's - Einstein bagels are hard so avoid. read more

I'm so annoyed. This is the second time they get my order wrong. This is how ordered " a wheat bagel with regular cream cheese, please add an egg and turkey bacon" to go. Well I left and got to my office and my bagel had no cream cheese ugh so disappointing. I get it they are busy but please pay attention!! Service here is consistently terrible. Orders are never on time, and online orders are always pushed behind walk-in customers. They ran out of the bagels our breakfast sandwiches were supposed to come with and never even called to ask for replacements, we had to ask ourselves or we'd still be waiting. Wow. Waited 15 minutes for my order to be taken. The gentleman behind the counter took one order, made said order, and so on. There were others on the kitchen but all were supper slow. Two other potential customers walked out muttering how slow it was. After a total of 25 minutes I received my everything bagel, shmear, onion and tomato, only to be completely disappointed. Hate to do this but we were truly disappointed with the wait time. We get it the place is new but we have been to new places before and did not have this issue. The exact time we waited from ordering to pickup was exactly 56 minutes! We ordered 4 bagels with cream cheese thats it! How does it take so long to get these out? Tons of workers working on small work tables they kept dropping bagels on the ground. I blame poor management, poor planning, poor service SOP. They can't say this place has all new staff because that would be stupid for a company to not use seasoned workers to train the staff for a few weeks. The bagels were good I will say hence the 2 stars but the close-to-an-hour wait was ridiculous. I will return and if they fix the system i will retract the poor review. I went on 9/20/2025. It was packed. Finally got closer to order and I saw on the right side of the enclosed case, in one of the baskets of bagels there was a fly. When I ordered, I told cashier discreetly and he told someone, maybe manager and no one moved to remove the bagels. I made a comment that was gross. I saw one fly on one basket and limited my order to the no fly zone on the opposite end. Didn't see them remove the fly basket bagels. I really should have made an announcement publicly. There was no apology no thank you for letting me know. Maybe all new people but where is the common courtesy you should already know. I used the app and have a free bagel available. Why go back for more flies? I gave 2 stars because I liked the chocolate chip bagel read more
