Absolutely delicious! This is one of my sisters favorite spots but I had yet to be here until today. This place is unparalleled to any of the other restaurants in this area. Only place to really get Hawaiian food in the Valley. And it's always so yummy :) There is a gypsum and Avon location. They also have a food truck at a lot of events around the valley. Don't tell them you don't like it. They might yell at you. The food is usually very good which is why I gave it two stars rather than one. If this review were just about the food, it would be 5 stars. One time I didn't like the way it was made and they got really angry when I told them. I was speaking with one lady at the counter but another came out from the kitchen and started yelling at me about it. I was really nice but they were very aggressive. Because it is a newer family owned business, I don't think they know the professional boundaries of how you treat your customers. Sometimes people are not going to like it and you just give them something else. I never went back which was really sad because I ate there several times a week, and and love their food. It was also kind of shocking because they were otherwise very friendly then one day they just turned on me. We ordered the Katsu Moco and the North Shore Shrimp each one a half order and two bubble teas. Service was super friendly. All the food is made to order, so lunch took about 15 minutes. Both meals were very delicious and the teas were good as well with unusual flavors but refreshing. This off the highway place is well worth the stop. The food is good, as ever. However I'm not a fan of the menu change. It is more expensive than it used to be, and they won't let you substitute out a salad for Mac salad, even though the Mac salad is less expensive than a salad. For 2 meals, we paid $34.00. I ordered chicken katsu grill. It was ginormous and will feed an elephant. I hiked to Hanging Lake in the morning without having breakfast so I was pretty hungry. I could not even finish half. They have not mastered "katsu" yet as panko crusts are falling off the meat. If you don't like this place you are a demon #nosoul and I don't want to be your friend. You must try the poke, they use real fresh ahi tuna. It's not industrially packaged frozen and packed with red dye fish of poor quality that many places use but claim it to be fresh *cough *cough nozawa/owashi.... there is an attention to detail that is impossible to find anywhere else.
