I got two shrimp tacos and a Coke, my husband got a fish taco and a carnitas taco. All were pretty good; nothing to write home about and a little pricey ($37 total), but a good quick and fresh lunch. This place was packed when we got here, and were lucky to grab as table as someone was leaving. The place is small, but inviting. Fernando, the cashier/server, was very welcoming and attentive. They only had two people working, but it seemed like everything is running smoothly. We ordered the fish and chips. I read someone else's review about the size and quantity of the fish, but there were four good sized pieces of fish and a lot of fries. They were very tasty and had a nice texture. Not mushy or fishy. I also ordered two shrimp tacos. The flavor of the shrimp were very good, and they had a light batter on them. I would say they needed a little acid, like a lemon or lime wedge. We ordered chips and salsa, as well. The salsa had a pleasant citrus taste and a spicy kick. The chips were fresh, and had a cantina style crunch. We will be back again to try more. read more

This seafood restaurant does not sell ceviche only fried items. Regardless of what the menu states. Limited on Beer selections for the micheladas, no Pacifico beer available either. They advertise HAPPY HOUR on all the tables Monday-Friday starting at 3pm. We arrived at 4pm, asked for the happy hour pricing since the michelada was on that menu. We were told by staff that they don't do Happy Hour, so false advertisement on all the tables. $17 and some change for a michelada with nothing but tomato juice and a beer is a bit steep. And the person who was wearing a gray shirt on Sunday March 24, 2025 at around 1pm doesn't acknowledge my friend at all. He continues to make micheladas for this group of four people and then there other two friends walk in and he greets them and asks what can I get for you guys and doesn't even acknowledge my friend. They're made with a handmade tortilla, a good amount of perfectly fried fish, and garnished with thinly sliced cabbage, guacamole, sour cream with a wedge of lime and salsa on the side. DELICIOSO!!! Place was lively, great music, great atmosphere. Stopped by for a Taco de Carne Asada. The meat was tender and perfectly seasoned. Tortilla was hand made! I can tell their chef knows Mexican gourmet! They accept all forms of payments, I was able to Pay with Credit Card . I was able to eat indoors while enjoying the Redondo a beach views as well as people watching on the Boardwalk. Probably the best fish tacos I've even had in my life. I went there yesterday for the first time for lunch with my fiancé and let me tell you , it was absolutely amazing!!! He had the shrimp ceviche which was delicious and I had grilled fish tacos with some guacamole and chips .. so simple yet soooo sooo soo good. The salsa and chipotle sauce were excellent and full of flavor.On top of the excellent food, the service was great too! A Mexican restaurant on the Redondo Beach boardwalk. I've passed buy for years but never found a seat available. This time I did and it was a very pleasant experience. As soon as I was seated people began lining up for a seat. This place can be very busy which, but inference, suggests they have a good reputation. It's not a high end beautiful decor restaurant. Don't go expecting that. I found the service to be very efficient and the food well prepared and presented. The seating was comfortable and the fresh air from the harbor and seagull cawing was very relaxing. I will definitively go again if I can find a seat.
