OK. For a small place with a pretty basic menu, the flavors that this restaurant serves are very good. I had a lomo saltado, which seemed to be the usual dish served across countless restaurants, except that the flavors were exceptional. The same applied to another dish I ordered, an arroz chaufa de pollo, which looked the same as any other one made in Florida, but it didn't taste the same. For this reason, I'm coming back to try the seco de res. As someone being born in Peru, I appreciate these twists in flavor, and I recognize this place as a very special restaurant. Dessert was also very good.

Been looking for a local place in MLB to eat some Peruvian food. We moved here from Miami where Peruvian restaurants where everywhere to MLB where there are very few and haven't been able to find one until today. El Buzo is about 12 miles from my location so not too bad. It has almost 5 star reviews so why not. We drove here today and I was pleasantly surprised. Small, casual restaurant. Friendly service and good food. Although I was hoping that had one of my favorite dishes, Tacu Tacu which they didn't, I enjoyed what I chose. For appetizers we ordered Ceviche mixto and papa a la huancaina. For the main dish we ordered a lomo saltado and seco res of beef stew. And to finish off a chocolate mousse. Our meal was very good and definitely will try to either dine in or take out. Support local business by doing so.

Service was great, food came out quickly, and the beer with the glass was awesomely cold!

Casual spot in Cocoa beach with fresh, authentic Peruvian food! Tried the Ceviche de Pescado ($13.95), Seafood Fried Rice ($13.95), Pollo A La Plancha ($10.95), and a side of tostones ($3.95). Portions were a nice size (not too big or small) and everything tasted great! Nice plating too. Tostones were perfectly fried and slightly sweet, wish they came with dipping sauce though! Friendly staff :)

When I am craving Peruvian food, this place hits the spot. Portions are large, service was friendly.

Unfortunately a lot of the execution fell a bit flat, especially after both the menu and it's prices had set our expectations otherwise. The amuse bouche was definitely a palate awakener.. a mix of olive tapenade and vinegary mustard. It wasn't for us, but if the goal was to wake up our mouths, it worked. Then hubs had the scallop appetizer with bacon maple marmalade. He thought it was too sweet, I didn't mind it. Scallops were cooked well. I had the mussels from Brussels, a bit clumsy to eat as the mussels were in their shells and the thin Brussel leaves were scattered within/around, all on a bed of pureed potatoes. But a nice flavor and a good portion size. Then i moved on to the beet salad, which was my least favorite. A dish I enjoy at a lot of restaurants, all with different plating/approaches, this one was clunky, the beets were cut thicker than usual, plated with large proportion dwarfing the citrus and the cheese was presented in medium size encrusted balls. It lacked elegance or delicateness, the flavors didn't really meld as they should. Hubs and I then moved to the main course. I had the crispy gnocci app as my main, which was fine, nothing special and hubs had the catch #2 a tile fish that was just ok. We finished our drinks, opted for dessert elsewhere. They've been around a long time, so I'm sure we will try again in another couple years.

We spent a little over $300 for dinner for 2 adults and 1 child and the food was prepared well and tasted amazing. We ordered the Baked Brie and scallops which was the best 2 bites of the meal. Everything else was excellent just these 2 really stood out. Tomato bisque was incredible along with the lamb. The wife ordered the mahi mahi which was the special of the day and unfortunately was seriously overcooked. I figured this was a special and not something they cook regularly hence not having complete mastering of preparing this fish. Here are my only comments for why I gave a 4 star vs 5 star: 1. The portions are huge and normally this shouldn't be a problem but the chef would do better to cut the portions literally by 50%. By the time the entree came along I was already stuffed since everything was super yummy and I couldn't really stop eating. The sides were absolutely enormous for each dish lol. 2. Service was very good but I wish someone would've came around to clean up the crumbs on the table top. Also, the plates were large due to portions which made it very difficult to fit all the servings on the table. I would recommend using a plate riser to fix this issue or make the portions smaller and use smaller plates. We had a problem with having enough room on the table. 3. Our server was super nice and awesome. It must've been a shift change and I saw her leave and didn't let us know so I wasn't sure how best to tip since I really appreciated her service. I would hope next time to let patrons know this so we can take care of staff accordingly during a shift change. Also on another side note, I love lamb chops and unsure how the chef prepared it but somehow was able to mask the full taste of lamb. This is neither a positive or negative just an observation and personal preference. I tend to enjoy the taste of lamb while others may not. I have to laud the skill of the chef for their skill in doing so since this was a 1st time experience for me for not being able to taste distinct lamb flavor in lamb chops. Altogether a memorable experience and my critique is based on attention to detail which I feel this restaurant would've been perfect if these 3 items fell better into place for us. The quality of food and price for the portions blew us away in a positive way and even though we spent $300 on dinner we thought this was very reasonable given the large portions and quality ingredients and yummy cocktails.

Burger came out over done, with the entire bottom bun completely soaked in juice. It basically fell apart by the end of the meal.
