    Camarones a la Diabla

We had a good experience having lunch here. Got seated right away and service was fast; our server were good. Plenty of seating indoor and outdoor as well and conviniently located by the main street. The food we got was good. What we got: Margarita flight (4/5) Very refreshing margaritas; favorite was the mango. Plenty of alcohol in them ad well. Steak and egg tacos (4/5) Good size tacos with plenty of steak and one fried egg on each; a little bit difficult to eat do to its size but flavor wise it was good. Carnitas tacos (3/5) This was decent; the pork was ok; not bad but not great either. The spanish rice was great tho. Camarones a la diabla (3.5/5) Its not bad at all. Plenty of shrimps and the spanish rice was good. It was very mild and not spicy at all; but the flavor was there. Carne Asada Nachos (4/5) Big portion; plenty of carne asada in it; and flavorful. Overall this is not to bad place to get some mexican foods. Good portions and price point felt balance based on what we got and what we paid for.

Parking here on the weekend was a bit difficult so we had to walk a bit to get there but the restaurant was very lively and fun. The burrito was flavorful and enjoyed it but the tortilla to filling ratio was a bit off for me with every bite feeling like 2x tortilla. I thought the plantain chips made the guacamole more interesting but glad we got the ceviche because classic chips and guac still the best in my opinion.

First time going to @elcamino_seattle and the ambience is super cozy. Cute decor throughout the restaurant and they even had a veranda with a fire place. Service was fast and server was friendly. Food was good. My favorite out of what we had was the Chilaquiles, French toast & Spritz. They were all gooMust try. We had the following: ~Chorizo Breakfast Burrito ~Chilaquiles ~Mexican French Toast ~Avocado Toast ~Playa Maya Spritz ~Home Made Pina Colada

El Camino has been in the Fremont neighborhood for years and I recently revisited twice in a week during a week day for happy hour and on a weekend night for dinner. Then, a third time in the same month to celebrate a birthday-- which I recommend for extroverts because they give the celebrant a large mariachi hat to wear and put a very festive type of flowing sparkler firework on a slice of cake while you all sing happy birthday exuberantly to them. Back to the food and ambiance-- All still really good and fun. I'll never tire of all the cool skulls and Mexican folk decor. My favorite food and must order each time here are the Birria Nachos with Guacamole and Sour Cream. I believe it is 1/2 price during Happy Hour but you still get the same generous portion. Roomy restaurant with a variety of seating choices. Friendly and vibrant atmosphere. I still love it after all these years.

Look at my photos! Oh my God, this place is so creative and cute - absolutely wonderful. I have been coming here for more than 20 years. It is so colorful and vibrant and the owners are so warm and friendly. The service is exceptional... You can tell the employees love their job here. I got the burrito enchilada style, and it was melt in your mouth. Incredible. They have the best margaritas and hats off to the Bartender. He is very talented. The guacamole is very unique and delicious! I highly recommend you get it. I highly recommend date night, friend night or celebrating a special occasion... This place is so memorable. You will never forget your time here.

Cute, colorful, and lively eatery with friendly service! We came here for happy hour and it's a great amount of food for the price. Chips came out hot and fresh. Salsa had a nice little kick to it. The taco was alright in my opinion and the birria quesadilla I think could've had better flavor and texture - it kind of felt like I was eating a dry pulled pork sandwich rather than a robust, flavorful, and moist birria-soaked quesadilla that I was expecting. Would like to come here again to try the wet burrito and some other things

Happy hour deals here are SUPERB! Definitely hit the Happy-Rita and don't sleep on the burrito. Staff were welcoming and even had books for my toddler to borrow during the meal. Great decor and vibes.

Oh my God! This is such a pretty Mexican market style place. They told me they changed their decor constantly. So better come and visit regularly. I believe is one of the best truly mexican restaurants around. They even had chiles en nogada by yhe end of summer. Their pozole is amazing, they bring it with Tostadas and cream! And their Tortilla Soup is a true Tortilla Soup with real thick soup! Tres Leches was big, and drinks were very tasty. I would suggest to ask how to pair drinks to get the best flavour out of them. Parking wasn't hard on a weekend.

Overall we had a great time at El Camino! The staff was great and gave their recommendations and was super quick service! The restaurants ambiance is a lot of fun for a night out with the girls and the drinks were great too! The food was pretty good but definitely not the best Mexican food I've had. But I would definitely go back for a night out with friends.

(3.5/5) Came in to El Camino for happy hour on a Sunday! Not too busy, we were seated fast. Wait staff were all friendly and nice! Food came out super quick. We ordered the carne asada tacos, birria plate, chips and salsa, happy hour sangria, and the happy hour margarita. Salsa and chips were ok felt like something was missing. Carne asada was also ok, pretty charred but I like that flavor. Birria plate was the best! The drinks were great and only $6. The restaurant itself was dark with fun decorations. I loved the music choices. Overall nice casual dining spot would come again.

Love the interior and on a sunny day, it is quite nice in the back patio. Came here for drinks with friends and we all love their margaritas (esp. the spicy one: get the picante). We were kind of disappointed with the ceviche, the fish used was a bit too chewy for my taste, and it wasn't acidic enough. The onions were overpowering the taste of the seafood, so we wished they added more fish into the dish. Staff was friendly and we may come back next time to try their entrees. I don't think we'll order the ceviche again unless they update the recipe.

I was in the area for a couple of nearby events and had time to kill a couple times, so we came to El Camino as it was around the corner. They have a couple of outdoor spaces for dining, one out front that looks like a Covid-style outdoor seating, and then they have a patio in the back that is absolutely GORGEOUS. We opted to sit out there both times. On a warm sunny fall day, it was such a vibe. Drinks are priced for Seattle, as to be expected. The cadillac margaritas are poured strong and they're delicious! We also tried their nachos which were so good. They're loaded up with lots of cheese, beans, guac, sour cream, and more. They are discounted on happy hour too, which was a solid deal. I'm not in the Fremont area often but I would definitely come back here for happy hour on the patio!

Stopped here for a break during a hot day. Their patio is dog friendly and shaded. They even put up an extra umbrella so all the tables had shade! The food was decent and they give generous portions even for the happy hour food items. The margs were pretty strong pours and overall we felt positively about our pit stop here!

The shop itself is very small since it's basically a window shop, either renting space from or connected to Tamari Bar. It's more like a little dessert stand located on the restaurant's patio area, with only a few outdoor tables available. The soft serve was okay, but not as creamy as I was hoping for, and it melted pretty quickly. If you decide to add a syrup flavor, I'd recommend asking for only a small amount. Mine came absolutely drowning in syrup, and honestly, the flavor tasted pretty artificial and overpowering.

Thankfully they are open today on the Fourth of July (they will just close a little earlier for the holiday), and I was happy to see that not much has changed since my last visit. Without even realizing it, I ended up ordering the exact same drink I got the first time: a Matcha Float with mochi. I guess you really can't go wrong with it because it's still just as creamy and satisfying as I remembered. The only tiny downside is that it only comes with three small mochi balls, so for almost $9 I wish there were a few more. However, the quality of the matcha is consistently excellent, sooo I don't regret coming back. They have wonderful customer service too! The employee helping me at the register was incredibly patient while I stood there trying to decide what to order. As an awkward introvert, I always feel a little flustered when ordering, but she never made me feel rushed or uncomfortable. She asked my sweetness preference for the Matcha Float, whether I wanted to dine in or take everything to go, and even carefully packed up my yuzu green tea packet with the rest of my order. She was very kind and thoughtful so just wanna say I really appreciate how welcoming she was. Even from my last Seattle visit two years ago, I still remember the employees being helpful and friendly here. I also have to recommend their desserts from my previous visit. (I skipped the sweets this time due to my budget but I still suggest picking up some of their sweets!). The Matcha Basque Cheesecake and the Matcha Tiramisu were both absolutely delicious, and I still remember how amazing they tasted even two years later. The tiramisu is only around $7 and is definitely worth trying if you're a matcha lover. This visit, I picked up their yuzu green tea packet to take home (last time, I got the hojicha). Each packet contains 15 individual tea bags and costs about $10 (not bad for how much tea is in each tea bag). They also sell matcha powder and other tea goodies. I'm looking forward to brewing the yuzu green tea at home since a good cup of hot tea is always comforting, especially when I'm sick (I've been recovering from a cold so tea has been a lifesaver to warm me up!). I actually stopped by for lunch since I didn't eat breakfast, and ordered the Sukiyaki Don (it was much more satisfying than I expected). I was craving a beef bowl and Nana's was one of the few places in the area within walking distance from my work, that was actually open for the holiday today, lucky me! It came with miso soup and a soft-boiled egg, and I was pleasantly surprised to find tofu and mushrooms in the bowl alongside the beef. It left me FULL, my tummy happy, heck yeah. Costs almost $20 but worth satisfying a craving. I won't lie.. I somehow managed to spend about $40 today between my meal, drink, and tea to take home. More than I intended to spend but no regrets, because everything was delicious and the quality has remained consistently high over the years. The only thing that made my visit a little uncomfortable wasn't the café itself. There were quite a few homeless individuals lingering around the front of the building, so I decided against dining out front like I had originally planned since I wanted to enjoy the nice weather, but one of them was panhandling me so I promptly left (thankfully I asked for my order to be packaged for takeout). That's obviously outside of the café's control, and it didn't affect the food or service at all. They still had many seats available inside but probably because it's the holiday. If I recall, the place was packed during the afternoon when I last visited on a weekday. I will still say that Nana's Green Tea continues to be one of my favorite matcha spots whenever I'm in Seattle. Between the consistently high-quality matcha, delicious meals and desserts, excellent selection of teas to bring home, and genuinely exemplary customer service, it's a place I'll happily keep returning to whenever I'm back in town and have the time to visit.

She had wanted to visit for a long time after hearing so many good things about it, so this was the perfect opportunity. The café itself is bright, modern, and absolutely adorable. It has a cozy, inviting atmosphere that makes it a great place to relax over dessert with family or friends. The menu is a dream for matcha and hojicha lovers. They offer an impressive variety of parfaits, floats, frappes, and lattes, with optional additions like mochi and red beans. It took us a while to decide because everything looked tempting. My daughter and I shared the Hojicha Mochi Parfait, while my son ordered the Hojicha Float with mochi. The parfait had a rich, authentic hojicha flavor and was generously layered with chewy mochi, crunchy cereal flakes, and creamy soft serve, giving it a wonderful mix of textures. The float was equally enjoyable, with a bold roasted hojicha flavor that wasn't overly sweet, and the mochi was a fun addition. The quality of the desserts was excellent, and while the prices are on the higher side, they reflect the quality of the ingredients and presentation. If you're a fan of matcha or hojicha, this is definitely a place worth visiting.
