The service was great food was brought out quickly as well. If you're looking for a mariscos place this is the spot for you. They had live music as well it was very nice for a get together with family.

This place is my guilty please in SA. I've been here a few time and service is always good. If you go during busy times, there will normally be a wait to get your food. If you're dining with family, there's arcade games for the kids to entertain themselves and love music after certain hours. The ceviche is decent, but I always come here for the sushi with Oaxaca cheese on top. It's my favorite thing. Prices are a little high for the food it is but over all it's a good casual spot to enjoy.

We enjoyed the vibes and the food of this place. We went here for a bday celebration of a friend on a Saturday and it was a lot of things happening in the background from the server, kids who play arcade games, a clown with skillful anime shaped balloons (it was really cool) and the non stop music. The food was really good and their drinks hit the spot. We got margaritas, beer, mules, and other more. For food it was a molcajete, enchiladas, red snapper, tacos, burrito. The service was kind of hard to rate. She did her best I know since there was A LOT of people but it took us 1hr to get our drinks and another 1hr to get our food. So it took us 3hrs in total not included the wait time. It seems like most people go here to drink more than dining in and eat. Also if you can, bring a friend that can speak spanish as the language barrier was hard even their menu indicates english and spanish, plus with loud music. Yet! Despite of all the downsides we had fun in this place and for sure we will go back.

These were my sons enchiladas, they were amazing

Came here today after my sons martial arts practice. We were hungry and just picked the first place we saw. It's just so happened be el Gallito. I still remember when it was the Chinese buffet. I forget the name. Lets start of with the ambience. It is completely redone, and looks nothing like it did before. It's nice, but has a very club like cringe to it. I think that is what they were going for. So they pulled that off. Love the open kitchen and has a very long bar. I can see the younger crowd loving it. The food was honestly very good. The sauces and the fact that they had hand made corn tortillas were one of the pluses! Let's start off with my sons shrimp enchiladas. Very generous portion, and the flavor was amazing. He loved it. We tried them and they were really good. My better half got the bistro tacos. They were really good, kinda hard to mess them up. Our plates came with a side of charro beans, which we loved(love when restaurants don't just give you old refried beans). I had the chicken fajitas. So here is my gripe. They were dry, because they were chicken breast. The better restaurants use chicken thighs for the fajitas, and they are much juicer and flavorful. They were well seasoned, and the white rice was also a great touch. We will be back to try other menus items. We thought with the decor it was going to be pricey, it was the opposite. The prices were fair.

Loud.... Very loud. Yes food was good, yes service was good, but still a bit TOO loud. Musicians play around you while you eat but remember it's not like a mariachi or a Trio, it's a full band playing. So, if you go brace yourself. As for me I might give it another try.

Place was busy and loud but even though we had a big party the food came out quickly and was so good! The cheese enchiladas were spicy which did not expect just wish it was notated on menu for us not so fluent in Spanish, so other that and the waitress did take a bit to refill the drinks but understandable cause it was busy. I was surprised at the sushi, i ordered it fried and it was delicious. They had a band playing and they would walk around and interact. It was a different experience. I would recommend a reservation or to arrive early.

We ordered the fish chicharron. Not even close to the same dish served at the other location. It made us so upset, that it's not even worth talking about anymore. My son LOVES the paella at the other location. He picked the shrimp out and refused to eat the rest. We all tried it and agreed, it lacked flavor, and it didn't even feel like it was cooked the same. I ordered the caldo 7 mares. This one is mixed. It was FULL of seafood...but ZERO of the rich seafood broth you expect. For the price, the broth should at least taste...well, no joke but it should taste like fish. Even salt didn't help. The misses ordered the fried fish and shrimp. That was the best dish, and not by much. We had a michelada, and it wasn't bad, but again didn't hold a candle to the other location. The one sauce, the chipotle mayo type, was absolutely delicious. The green one not so much. Even that sauce is completely different than the 151 location. The chips were stale... Our waitress visited us once, and we WERE the only family dining there. No refills for us I guess! We were perplexed how the same family of restaurants can be so different!!! Visit the 151 location, trust me!

Birthdays, random cravings, "we survived the week" dinners & you name it, we've probably celebrated it here. The vibe is casual, fun, and laid-back, which is exactly what you want when you're about to put on a bib and commit to a seafood boil. And yes, that is exactly what you should do here because the boils never miss. The seafood is always fresh, the sauces are flavorful, and the spice levels are not playing around. My recommendation? Stick with level 2 unless you enjoy sweating through your meal and reevaluating your life choices. My go-to combo is mussels, shrimp, crab legs, potatoes, boiled egg, and veggies. And before anybody gets suspicious about the veggies in a seafood boil, hear me out, they absolutely belong there. They soak up all that buttery, spicy sauce and add something extra to the whole experience. Don't skip them. Also, get the flights. They're fun, they're good, and they make an already good time even better. Smashin Crab is one of those places we keep coming back to because it's reliable in the best way: good seafood, great flavor, and the kind of meal that feels like an event every time.

Jenn was our server, and she was amazing very attentive, informative, and provided great service throughout our visit. The ambiance was a fun, lively vibe with music playing, and the restaurant was clean. The happy hour menu had a great selection, with everything from shrimp boils to cocktails. We started with the 1/2 dozen chargrilled oysters ($19.12) and the Smash'd Margarita Flight ($11 during happy hour). Chargrilled Oysters: 8.5/10 The oysters were cooked in garlic butter and Parmesan and served with crispy toast. The toast was definitely a highlight for me it added such a good texture and paired really well with the oysters. I would absolutely order these again! Smash'd Margarita Flight: (9/10) This was a fun way to get a taste of the different margaritas they offer. The prickly pear was my favorite of the flight! Shrimp Boil: (10/10) For our main meal, we ordered the shrimp boil from the happy hour menu and added a few extras. I loved how customizable the boils were. They have a great variety of add-ons, from broccoli to ramen noodles, and you can also choose your seasoning and spice level. Overall, we had a great experience. Good food, a fun atmosphere, plenty of options, and great service from Jenn. We'll definitely be back and those chargrilled oysters will be making another appearance at the table! Walk in the atmosphere is super cool, very subtle but has ties to seafood restaurants that we had visited in the Boston area, which was kind of nice. The service staff was very friendly, and the food was quick to come out We had oysters on the half show, which were absolutely delicious. They have three different kinds, and the server was knowledgeable enough to explain to us what the different kinds were, size, graininess, and other intangibles that would help us make our decision, and I'm glad he did because we got the Gulf oysters and they were awesome My wife had a Lobster and shrimp roll, which was one of the most delicious things I think I've ever tasted in a seafood restaurant, I went standard with fish and chips, and they were quite amazing, battered properly, lightly fried, golden brown, hot and juicy on the inside, with very little grease residue, five out of five would definitely eat those Again. If you are in the area and you are looking for a affordable and delicious seafood option, do not hesitate. Hop into Fish City Grill and you will not be disappointed
