I didn't even notice this place until my friend mentioned it after we went to Potbellies. It's hidden in the back corner of the same building, but I could smell it before I saw it. It smells amazing. I came in and ordered take out. There were a couple of tables occupied, and they let me sit at a table and offered me a drink while I looked at the menu. I got water and a refill while I was there -- super nice since I had come from the gym. The food was packaged well, and it was warm when I got back to my place. Everything was flavorful. I tried a few things. I was told that 3 empanadas usually suffice for dinner. I wanted to try 1 and tacos. Both were amazing. The provoleta (melted provolone with bread) was very good. And I had no idea flan was always missing dulce de leche this entire time. It brought flan up a notch, and I love flan. I will definitely be back to try more things. The steaks sounded amazing, and I want to try more of the empanadas. I had the Beef Argentine empanada. I loved how flavorful it was, and their chimichurri was delicious.

After two visits, including dinner tonight, I'm ready to review this excellent restaurant! The menu features Argentinian dishes with a few Uruguayan dishes, as well. I stopped several months ago for lunch and enjoyed a delicious Choripan sandwich and a beef Arabe meat pie. I knew I had to return for dinner to try more. Tonight, I went back with a friend and received a little help with menu options from our awesome server, Millie! We started with a Mango Passionfruit Margarita Mocktail, which was outstanding! Then we shared the Tortilla de Papa and the Uruguayan Pascualina Tarta, filled with spinach and egg and seasoned with amazing spices! I ordered the Tira de Asada as my entree and chose the Argentine potato salad with peas, carrots, and mayo. My grilled bone-in rib was perfectly seasoned and cooked to medium rare, as requested. My friend enjoyed her empanadas, especially the spinach and cheese and the Humitas, which was filled with creamy corn pudding, onions, and cheese. We shared the chicken empanada, and it was amazing! I loved the crispy shell, tender shredded chicken and flavorful spices and marinade used for the chicken. Highly recommend it! For dessert, we shared the recommended Alfajor, which is a cookie sandwich with a dulce de leche filling and rolled in coconut. It was a great way to end a perfect dinner experience! They added Tuesday to their hours of operation recently, and you can make reservations on their website, which is especially recommended for weekend dinners. They often have live music and Argentine Tango dancing! I highly recommend this excellent restaurant!

Am amazing authentic Argentinian restuarant! Tucked away in the back of a plaza, it was almost hard to find because it's the last business in the corner. Very no frills interior with argentinian flags along the wall and a cute backdrop at the entrance. I was starving when I came in initially (was ready to go for some AYCE bbq) so we may have over-ordered but I'm so glad I got to try all the things! We came on a friday and they were having a margarita special for $6, or $7 for the spicy ones. We got chile mango (which was delicious AND quite spicy!) and the hibiscus (sweet and floral). For the food: MOLLEJAS/sweetbreads: I still don't understand why this dish is called sweetbreads because I can only picture bread but wow these were tender and full of flavor. Apparently it's hard to find places that serve sweetbreads so we were very pleased with being able to have it here PAPAS A LA PROVENZAL: crispy fries with parsley and garlic, I didn't expect much but these were SO GOOD. The level of crispy and seasoning really crushed it. And I always love a good side of fries!! EMPANADAS: We tried the beef argentine and humitas (creamy corn). Honestly not a fan, not sure if it was because we came later in the evening but the breading tasted hard PARILLA ASADO: This was the combo platter of meat (sweetbreads, short rib, sausage, blood sausage, ribeye, chicken) and it was AMAZING. Highly recommend. We got the dish for 2 which came with 2 of everything and it was probably too much considering everything else we got. All of the meats were delicious. We didn't get any additional sauce with it and it was flavorful enough on its own. I wasn't a big fan of the chicken but all the other meats were juicy and tender. Comes with a side and we got the potato salad. ALFAJOR: not sure why we got dessert when we were so full but their dessert menu looked so yummy! This was dessert sandwich with sugar bread/cookie and dulce de leche in the middle. It was a little too sweet/dry for me but my partner loved it. The service was top notch as well, our server was so funny and kind, checked in on us just enough and gave great recommendations. We also ran into my partner's colleague who is Argentinian so I'm definitely labeling this place as quite authentic!

I will say I think I have to try this place again because there are so many fine reviews, my experience could be a 1 off. When my friend and I got a table, we sat a far ways away from the door. The entire time I was at the restaurant, I felt uncomfortably chilly even while wearing a sweater. My friend and I each ordered three empanadas of variety. I ordered a Beef Argentine, Mushroom & Cheese, and Humitas. Each bite had a very doughy taste, which overpowered the flavor of the filling. I wish there was more filling in the empanada. The mushroom veggie empanadas were probably my favorite overall. I was a bit underwhelmed with the dessert as well. The Chaja cake was tasty but not something to crave. I will say I was thoroughly happy with my drink of choice. If you like spicy drinks, I highly recommend the spicy chili mango margarita!

Excuse the picture. We dove into the food before I thought to take one!

First time visit! Ambiance was enjoyable...Food was great, service was great... only critique the taco tortillas were a little tough...we'll definitely go back ! Empanadas were delicious!

Chivito Al Plato (Uruguayan tenderloin, baked ham, bacon, mozzarella, and a an over easy egg. Along with fries, potato salad, and a salad.

Stopped by the El Gaucho Grill for the first time on a beautiful afternoon and ate lunch on their patio. Great music and the service was quick, friendly, and she answered all my Argentinian food questions! The food itself was fantastic. Perfect over easy egg to cut over the tenderloin. (Pic attached) The tenderloin had solid flavors and overall a nice cut of meat with a good portion size. The potato salad and mixed green salad were both nice additives to the main meal. The fries were fantastic - even with the tenderloin and egg on top of them they had a nice golden crisp to them. Rating 5/5 - fantastic meal and I'll be back again. I recommend you stop by! I'm looking forward to trying some more of their dishes!

The dining was a great experience. As a new restaurant it's still working out it's service flow, but one thing for sure - the chef has the food sorted out and it was delicious. This really is a 4 1/2 star review and they will be a 5 by the next visit I'm sure. We enjoyed the Arabes and Caprese empanadas for appetizers, sangria, and the Parrillada Asado for 1 with the sautéed vegetables (which was plenty for 2). Tony and his team have a gem in the making. It was a real treat dining at El Gaucho Grill.

Get here before this place is found out! We started off with a picture of sangria. It was very good. For dinner my family ordered empanadas and I ordered a rib eye steak. The steak was one of the best I've had. Simply delicious! If we were to do it again, we would order a dozen of the empanadas and order a variety. We had 5 different ones and they were all great. Everyone shared everything. The Humatis empanada was my favorite. Tony is the owner and he was sure to check that everything was perfect (it really was). For desert we ordered a flan with dolce and alfajore. Both were delicious and home made. Be sure to save room and order desert! We will absolutely be back with friends! Sorry for the photo's.. we couldn't wait to dig in.

From the moment you walk in, the warm, vibrant atmosphere sets the tone, with inviting décor and subtle music that perfectly complements the cuisine. The menu is a thoughtfully curated celebration of Latin flavors, blending tradition with modern flair. Each dish is beautifully presented and layered with bold, authentic taste. Standout items include their perfectly seasoned meats, fresh seafood options, and house-made sauces that add depth and character to every bite. The balance of spices and textures shows a clear attention to detail and a deep respect for culinary heritage. The drinks are devine heavily inspired by Latin culture. My personal favorites are the blackberry sangria and the Mexican sangria. Service is equally impressive--attentive without being intrusive. The staff is knowledgeable, happy to guide you through the menu, and eager to recommend pairings that enhance the overall experience. What truly sets Antiqua apart is its ability to feel both elevated and welcoming. Whether you're there for a special occasion or a casual night out, the restaurant delivers consistently high quality in both food and hospitality. Visited Sabor Tropical Restaurant recently for dinner on a Sunday evening…read more We were immediately greeted and seated. The restaurant itself was impeccably clean and welcoming. I started out my experience with their Pisco Sour. I prefer the Peruvian style Pisco Sour (with egg whites and bitters), they serve it in the Chilean fashion (sans egg whites and bitters). It was aok if that's the style you prefer! For our starter, we got the tostones rellenos, which were the star of the evening for me. So flavorful with just the right amount of heat. Perfection! For my main dish, I got their salmon tropical, which is grilled salmon over whipped potatoes with cilantro, mango, onion, and avocado on top. It's also served with asparagus, which was pitch perfect. All in all--it was a fresh and tasty dish! For dessert, my dining companion and I opted to share their nutella flan. I found it to be overly, cloyingly sweet and wouldn't likely order dessert here again. The service was attentive and the prices were reasonable. Get to it!

The place has outdoor seating in front and the inside has a nice bar with big front windows and tables/chairs. The bar menu for a tropical restaurant had a small tropical drink menu I thought but the strawberry mojito sounded good. The strawberry mojito was good but for all I know it was a kiddie cocktail because it didn't taste like an adult beverage because it didn't taste like an alcohol beverage. The blond woman with the hypnotic/beautiful accent working the whole room by herself did a great job. The menu has so much good stuff on it that it's hard to pick a dish so I opted for the Latin inspired signature sampler which is empanada choice of meat, steak quesadilla, tostone ralleno pork, three mango bbq wings and tostones. The food took a bit to hit the table but it looked good when it did. Everything was delicious/flavorful and seasoned nicely. I enjoyed everything on the plate so it's hard to pick one over the other except the wing's because wings are everywhere. The pork was moist and seasoned nicely as well as the tender steak quesadilla, it's all very good. Overall I really like my lunch and I'm so glad that I stopped for something different and they did a great job.

We tried three different wobbly chairs before giving up and settling for the least unstable one. It took 40 minutes just to get water, and over an hour for our drinks. Mine didn't arrive until the manager stepped in--75 minutes after ordering. When our appetizer finally showed up 90 minutes in, the "stuffed mushrooms" were cold, undercooked, and missing the sausage entirely. We sent them back because there was nothing edible about them. The soup tasted good, but it arrived more than an hour into the meal--and came with burnt pieces on top, which is especially ironic considering the fire alarm was going off at the time. The alarm was blaring directly above our heads, and two families walked out during the chaos. We should have followed. The salads we ordered never arrived. Multiple menu items we attempted to order weren't available, including the salmon for the salmon salad and the prime rib sandwich. At that point, the menu felt more like a list of things they used to serve. After two hours of waiting, missing dishes, unavailable items, and nonstop disruptions--on a birthday, no less--we finally walked out. And despite everything, we still tipped our waiter because it was painfully clear the chaos wasn't entirely his fault. We walked next door to Emil's, where the difference was night and day. We were seated immediately, treated kindly, served a full meal in under 45 minutes, and they even surprised my friend with a free birthday dessert to salvage the night. Emil's saved what Center Cut completely destroyed.
