Wicked good huge burger with a lot going for it that you can't even see. There's pineapple in there too. Awww yeah!

CASH ONLY. I don't often leave a review after my first visit some where, but WOW, these guys deserve it. I had burger that had a really yummy perfectly cooked beef patty, grilled hotdog, pineapple, ample cheese and veggies. I paid $5 for this thing and it was a monster! I don't speak Spanish (not that it ever held me back from trying new places), so I was super pleased that the guy that took my order spoke English. I didn't tip when I first paid and there was no feeling of resentment. I happily tipped their jar after eating that awesome burger. Asked about hours and he said that they're closed on Tuesday, and typically open till 1am on weekdays, and close around 2am or 3am on weekends depending how busy it is. He said weekdays around 6-7 the wait can be up to 40 minutes because they get pretty busy. I don't know how they don't have more reviews. Awesome prices for simple and hefty portions of truck food. Heck yeah!

This taco truck is parked in the lot for the car wash, next to Sonic. It happens to be one of the few late night options in the area, open until 2am. It's also notable for having a satellite dish and a TV on the outside, for your entertainment. I got a sope with chorizo and suadero for 4 bucks. It sounded pricey when I ordered it, but it's rather large - more like a huarache I'd say. The flavor was a bit bland though, but easily remedied with the tomatillo salsa. Not bad for a 1am meal option. I'm not sure whether this truck is related to the other El Paisa on Congress. While the neon sign makes me think so, the quality here seems inferior.

No, just no. $2 a taco. Salsa is 50 cents. Make the drive to riverside. More cilantro than meat

This place is def so delicious! They are very nice and the food is great! The tortas are massive! My husband and i get full on half of a torta! Please help this local small hispanic business! The kids love the tacos al Pastor and i love that they have all the veggies and fruit (cilantro, cebolla, pineapple) only downfall that they do have is that they only accept cash! But its very much worth it. They moved to a new carwash over by nuckols crossing close to Teri rd! Best place! Never a dissapoinment eating here!

We tried the bistek and al pastor and both were good. They have the small tacos, which I really love!

The staff were kind and friendly too! I got the special of the week--a gyro taco-- and the fish n chips taco with a side of queso. He got the gyro taco as well and corn elote. The gyro taco was our absolute fave! The queso was so gooey and delicious, and the corn elote was everything too even though it wasn't on the cob. They have tacos, bowls, nachos... a really versatile menu suitable for any hungry person! They also have this velvet cake that I plan to get during my next visit--yes, we will be back!

Some tables could use a cleaning in between guests, but it was fairly clean. You order your food at the counter and they call you when it is ready. I ordered the grilled steak taco, rotisserie chicken taco and special taco of the week (pork dumpling smash taco). We also ordered the elote and queso to share. The elote was good, but very creamy and a bit heavy. The queso was good but tbh I prefer Torchy's. The grilled steak taco was a bit underwhelming, I wanted it to have more flavor, it just tasted like beef and cheese. The chicken had good flavor and the special weekly taco was enjoyable and interesting, not like any taco I have had before. There is plenty of variety for people including those with dietary restrictions. My friends ordered two tacos each and I was full after 3 tacos so if you are not a big eater stick with two.

Like your girl can eat tacos but I had never been one to be like let's go get some cause I am craving them. But man cuantos tacos can definitely get me saying I want and crave them! I thought prices were pretty fair at 2.75 a piece. After much researchon what to eat in Austin this is one of the spots that I saved as a bookmark. While I was in Austin, a foodie friend on Instagram shared with me her list of recommendations since she just moved to Austin not too long ago. I knew that Ihad to stop by Cuantos Tacos, I mean how often do you see a Michelin BibGourmand taco truck. We came here for dinner but it was cold, sprinkling, anddark out. Tables they had were wet from the sprinkle.  My family only triedthe suadero taco ($2.75 per taco) but OMG it was the best thing we ate duringour trip in Austin. It was super memorable, the meat was soft and the salsaadded the perfect kick to it. It's been a month, my husband and I are still daydreamingabout these tacos.  Tacos are madepretty fast, we had to order tacos 3x since they were so good, we kept wantingmore. Wait time was super reasonable. Staff are nice and if I lived closer Ican see myself coming here every taco Tuesday! This definitely is a must go tospot if you like tacos.   Tips: *Small parking lot *Outdoor seating only *Credit card accepted *Porta Potty in theback (night time it is pretty dark and hard to see) *They cater. *You can also orderonline for pick up. Tips: Credit card and cash accepted. Outdoor seating option only. Restroom is port a potties. Located in an area with other food trucks.

Making them costra style to add cheese for 50c is a nice touch too. The picnic seating kinda leaves a lot to be desired, my table was very broken. Staff is friendly and helpful in the truck!

I ordered 2 steak tacos and horchata, both very delicious. The horchata is milky and sweet but not crazy sweet, and topped off with cinnamon. The steak tacos came out pretty hot, fresh from the grill. I got them on corn tortillas and I'm glad I did: idk if they make them in house but somebody in some house is making these because they definitely aren't store bought, and if they are I want to know where! I tried the orange habanero and creamy serrano salsas. The habanero was spicy off the bat, while the serrano had more of a lingering burn. Both paired well with the steak. They have a little bar, too, though I did not imbibe this time. Seems like they have a decent selection of agave spirits, and even Campari behind the bar (iykyk). Give them a shot, and thank the ladies in the kitchen.
