It's been years since I've been here. I didn't like it before but I decided to give them another chance with my boyfriend. I will say this experience was disappointing. Yuri was our waitress and she was very inattentive, my boyfriend asked for no sour cream, pico de gallo, cheese sauce on the burrito, and no guacamole. When his order comes out it has all of those things and when he stated to the waitress that he didn't want those things, she stated that he never told her that when he clearly did. And then proceeds to bring his burrito back to get new stuff. We also asked for lemons 3 times and she never brought them. We ended up having to ask the manager for her to bring them to us. Also another weird thing, he is Guatemalan and she asked him if he was Mexican and made him uncomfortable. But she never checked on us but was being flirty with him and kept making him uncomfortable. I enjoyed a nice lunch here and found the food was tasty and priced fairly. The water tasted clean, and the complimentary chips and salsa were very good. I salted my chips when they came out hot since I like them that way, and the salt grinder let me choose a thicker grind. The salsa is worth mentioning since it was thick and on the spicy side, and it was quite a bit better than average for Pensacola. My meal itself was a chicken quesadilla, a beef burrito and a chili relleno. The plate was full so it did not come with rice or beans, and I admit I missed them. The chili relleno was good but a little heavy, and it would not cut with a fork the batter as the batter was fried tough. The chicken quesadilla was bland and also would not cut with a fork. The burrito, however, was perfect. I could've just eaten burritos and salsa in hindsight and been perfectly happy had it come with the beans and rice. Overall the food was good, and the environment is nice and "traditional" with lots to see while you are waiting for your food. read more

Being from El Paso, Tx the food took me back homeVery good and authentic Mexican food, the way it should be. A lot of options to choose from and lots of seating, with great service and friendly staff. We went at lunch but I am sure it's a fun party place for dinner, definitely do not expect to have conversations during dinner! We ordered the Mexican tacos plate - carnitas and Al pastor- happy to see they each had their own distinct flavor. Loved the Charro beans they were perfect!!! We were cheated by our server. June 6, 2026. Not only were we charged for something we didn't receive, we were not able to order dinner. I hate this restaurant. We were there with a large party, several tables, and our servers could not handle it. This was a terrible night. Service was awful. Loved the Colorful exterior every time we drove by, so craving Mexican Food it was time to give El Paso a try. The Interior was festive and colorful with the smell of delicious food and margaritas. Our server was very helpful with explaining the menu and giving suggestions. I ate the Mexican Shrimp Cocktail and Mixed Shrimp and Fish Ceviche. The Shrimp Cocktail flavor was savory sweet but missing chili heat. I asked for fresh chopped jalapenos that added the heat I was missing in every bite. My biggest complaint with the Shrimp Cocktail was the tail-on shrimp??? I've ordered Cocktails De Camaron, Mexican Shrimp Cocktails in many countries and never had it served with tail-on shrimp. The Ceviche was very fishy smelling and tasted old, also missing chili pepper heat. My wife only ate a chicken enchilada and tasted my food. This was my first time here, and I was here for a birthday party. When I arrived, the table was not set up even after my friend already called and made reservations. Service was okay. Shredded beef chimichanga was good ($17). The watermelon margarita was too sweet. Medium size was around $15. The skinny margarita ($12) tasted like sour patch candy... too sour! We have passed by this restaurant for a year and today we stopped. The restaurant is attractive on the outside as well as the inside. With beautiful colors and decor. The restaurant was very clean and while we were there some of the employees were continuously cleaning which is always good. After walking in we were greeted immediately and sat by Marvin, he was polite and quick on his feet. Everything we ate was delicious from the hot sauce to the plates we ordered and prices are decent. The service was horrible the food was great. Now before you make any assumptions let me tell you why I gave them this review. Our server was also taking care of a large party so it wasn't her fault, however as we waited over 45 minutes to even get our food ordered, my wife and I noticed several servers just yapping away with the bartender and the management walking around and watching the tv's. Now I understand that servers are usually assigned to so many tables but when the establishment is full and there's no other tables other then the party and ourselves theirs no excuse to not help thier fellow servers. When we finally received our food it took another 30 minutes just to get a couple of sodas. This is horrible management policies. Again the food was great but the service was horrible, hopefully this clears things up for the owner. read more

You have to know what you want before you walk in the door. I was asked 10 times what I wanted before I could even sit down and get a menu and get a high chair to sit my kid down and look at the menu. I was trying to order a fried chimichanga and explain I didn't want a wet soggy burrito but that's what I got it came with covered in hot queso that they spilled on my baby's head. My family and I usually eat at El Paso a couple of times a month and have for several years. So much that most of the staff knows us. The food is always fresh and hot. My go to is always the chicken fajitas and the rest of my family gets the chicken quesadillas. There is always plenty of the food and we never go away thinking that we didn't eat enough. The chips and salsa as well as the queso are always the perfect starter. Our favorite waitress always is Ms. Shana and she is always on top of keeping our drinks filled and refreshed. She makes the whole experience of dining out a pleasant experience. We have never had a bad experience eating at this establishment. read more

So I decided to give El Paso a try. I read some Yelp reviews that mentioned their Al Pastor and how it has pineapple incorporated into the dish, which sounded very much like what I enjoyed tremendously on a trip down to Baja California. I got seated and my waiter showed up right away, got me my Coke Zero, chips, salsa, and took my order. We're off to a good start I thought to myself. I ordered the Al Pastor fajitas. Well... it was okay. Canned pineapple rings grilled with the pork and onions in some very light seasoning. The chips were good, the salsa was fresh with a good flavour, but not much of a kick. I asked for some hot salsa. The waiter took quite a while to get it to me, but when I finally got it, it was pretty good. It was there habanero salsa. The place is a little on the loud side. They have live music, which was not bad. The band really spanned the spectrum from George Jones to Eric Clapton... pretty eclectic. I guess a little something for everyone, and I like it all! Shortly after bringing my hot salsa, the waiter reappeared with my check, another Coke Zero, and told me he would be my cashier. Ok, so he takes off, about five minutes later I put my card on the tray and wait. About 20 minutes later I decide I'm tired of waiting and I get up and ask the hostess if she can help me. Just then my waiter returns and checks me out. I'm not sure if I'll return. The food was mediocre, the service was kind of hit & miss, and that hot salsa I asked for came at a price... $2 to be exact. Dinner for one (I went solo) came in at about $30. This is the larger El Paso location, I mean it's YUGE. This location has a XXXYUGE parking lot and a XXXYUGE outdoor patio. No problems with huge groups or parking hauling boats etc., This is the more lively location than the other one hid behind the mall (plantation Road) there are always tons of people here, lots of service people blue collar workers in their big trucks hanging at the bar. It can get loud. I prefer the location hid behind the mall as it's more quiet, laid back & has better service. They have def improved on the carne asada seasonings here, but I think the other location has better food, this location has better portions. This location has better drinks & salsa, the other location has better service. The new mural on the wall of sunflowers at this location is very beautiful. They are def keeping this location up & improving it more & more, the other location behind the mall could use some remodeling. Like I said before, both locations are all over the map. They each have their pros & cons but I do like the drinks better here & the food better over there even though they give you more food here the service is better over there. Haha. Last time we were here, we loved the carne asada, it def had more seasoning. Yay! Thank you so much. It was very good. The drinks had more fruit & the tequila shots were served in rocks glasses. We still wish to find a small size chorizo Queso available on the menu. And the big thing is, if I have to pay for habanero hot salsa now, I want it made fresh. This place is hit or miss. The Carne Asada was the worst I ever had. The tostadas are bad. Went there during "happy hour" and ordered a 2 for 1 margaritas on ice. Was served a tea glass full of ice with perhaps a sip or two of margarita. Use to enjoy going here, now avoid it. Interesting that Taco Bell is a block away. read more

Such a disappointing place, food had no taste and you don't get rice of beans, just slapped on a plate food. The half three ears of corn for almost 11.00? Worst taste- all the food has no flavor not even cheese. Kants were flying everywhere , inside! We had to add salt to everything cause not even the shredded chicken had any flavor. The food is good. I have never had anything that I didn't like. Every time I've been there it has been with a party of no less than 4 and as many as 9. Only one order has been wrong, but was apologetic for the mistake, happily, eagerly, and very quickly corrected. Food comes quickly, even with big parties. Servers are efficient, knowledgeable, pleasant, and quick the fill a glass without having to be asked. They anticipate your needs and seem to be Johnny on the spot without hovering and making a nuisance of themselves. The restaurant is clean. Decorated with authentic Mexican memorabilia. There are well placed TVs on the walls near the ceilings so the can be seen over the heads of patrons. Music and TVs are just right on sound so you aren't competing with them to talk to and hear your guest in your party. read more

Bright murals are all over the place as well as a large selection of TVs to watch many of the games that were on when I visited them early in the evening. It did take them a minute to get back to the table after I had been seated. The margarita was delicious and pretty large& the offered a bigger option that I have only tried one time before. So I'll admit that I'm pretty picky about my Mexican food. I grew up in SoCal and coming here has been a bit of a shock. My friend and I ate here on Friday night. Chips were very bland. Salsa had some good kick to it but not a lot of flavor and it was very watery. I got the chicken enchilada dinner plate. The enchiladas were very bland. The rice and beans were good though. And the queso was very good. They had a 2 for 1 margarita deal and the mango margarita was pretty good. Our waitress was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. One might ask who goes to Florida for Mexican food I go to Florida for the sun and the fun but I also enjoyed visiting a new restaurant and this one just so happen to be a Mexican restaurant, it might not be like the ones in Arizona But the food was very tasty. One great thing about it is that every day they have a special between four and seven buy one margarita get one free and trust and believe they are not selfish with the alcohol, what I found pretty interesting was that with the buy one get one free the waiter brought over for drinks since my partner and I both ordered margaritas, trust me I'm not complaining they were delicious I could go back just for the drinks. With it being a super packed restaurant I thought it would be a while before we got our food but they came over very quickly with fresh made salsa and fresh homemade chips. All the staff was extremely friendly and helpful our food came out nice and hot fresh and delicious. read more
