Horrible customer service. My family and I were so excited to try this restaurant as it smells so wonderful when you drive by. We went inside to order and the female employee at the register did not acknowledge us. Mind you, I am very light skinned and die my hair blonde, and I am Hispanic, and my family is all Caucasian. They didn't have any breast or wings available to order but told me I'd have to pay extra for a skinless breast because they were filling a large catering order. I normally get a full chicken combo which is $13 and it includes rice and beans as sides. Although the sides are small, and I normally order one or two extras, they taste great. I finally had the opportunity to go to my closet location of El Poll Mobile and I have to say it was worth the drive. The chicken was fresh, grilled to perfection and the taste was amazing. I also noticed that the restaurant inside was clean, had grade A and the staff was very kind and patient with me. I don't think I will be going to any other places for grilled chicken anymore except this place. It was really that good. Highly recommend if you love grilled chicken. I called for delivery because the app on my phone is not working correctly the location said they didn't do delivery. I said I was using Yelp and that they were marked as delivery on the app and asked to that day update there entry. The gentleman on the phone said that I had to call back her come in monday. I said I didn't have time for that and asked him to write it down. He then treated in the rudest manner. Would not pass the phone to the shift supervisor or person in charge of the store at that moment, would not give me a customer complaint number, would not tell me his name, and berated me for wasting his time and hung up on me repeatedly giving me any anxiety attack for just wanting to order food. I literally live in walking distance and would have been willing to pick up food if he hadn't been a jerk. I have worked fast food before and would have literally been fired if I treated a customer the way he treated me. I have ordered from this place many times before because like I said I live in walking distance, but if this is how they train their employees to deal with complications over the phone I will never order food from this location again.
