This place is a classic Rancho Cucamonga spot ! If you're in the area definitely make a stop ! The food is always on point and the staff is friendly ! Inside is small and cozy Great for the weekend menudo!

My experience here was not good. The Cashier appeared a bit surprised by my visit, but tried hard to not appear that way. She was helpful, but it seemed forced. She was not rude at all, just very nonchalant. I wasn't turned off by her demeanor, rather wanting to end her engagement with me quickly, in case it was just "one of those days.". Now, under normal circumstances, when I'm the only one in line I'll probably take about a minute or two to make my selection, you know, putting a little thought into it. However, because it felt a little uncomfortable, I ordered almost immediately, two soft tacos. The restaurant was clean, but had a weird smell. Mind you, as I waited for my food, I strolled to the other side of the restaurant to see if it would get better, and it didn't. I contemplated canceling my order, letting them keep the money, and leaving, but it appeared as if no one else was bothered, so I sucked it up to my sensitive nose. My food was indeed a reflection of my visit that day. From the picture, perhaps needless to say, one taco was sitting on top of the other, so I had to pull them apart. The tortillas were extremely soggy. Both meat items were overcooked, and the presentation was poor. For Me, the visit was all wrong. The food was a waste for me. I was disappointed and told myself I would never return, but, this is again one of those scenarios where I don't want to believe that they put out their best that day. , So, we shall see if I give myself an opportunity to update this review.

I ordered a garden salad from El Ranchero, something I've purchased there before, but didn't realize until I got back to work that I was charged for a grilled chicken salad. Since I'm vegetarian and don't eat meat, I returned to have it corrected. They told me they fixed it, but didn't adjust the price difference. When I got back to work, I noticed they had simply picked the chicken out instead of remaking the salad, and there were still pieces of chicken left inside. This felt very unprofessional and careless. Fortunately , I won't be returning.

Delicious Food !!! Prices are very Reasonable but the Customer Service could use a little work.

Walk-in Welcome, Ambience, cleanliness, music, decor, friendly staff, good food CHECKMATE! I feel so bad as I can't remember our servers name but she was a doll! I know people don't always like to be checked on mid feedings, but the attention was on point. We are coming back for dinner next week and if I was a local, they would know my name and my "usual". On our table was the following delicacies: Chilaquiles Clasicos with Carne asada, Chilaquiles Chipotle with Chicken, Eggs Benedict with carne asada, gluten free option was the Veggie Omelette w/breakfast potatoes, complimentary chips & salsa, great flavuuur by the way! If you are a Cafe De Olla fan, it's pretty good. I did add 1 packet of sugar for a little more sweetness. Happy customers. Thank you!

I thought clearly stated what I'd like to have. Unfortunately the enchiladas took a very long time to make it to the take, while my party was now boxing up their plates. To my surprise there was no chicken as requested. I just checked with the sever to ensure I was not charged the additional fee for protein. The rice was crunchy, and the beans was not even above room temp. To me this indicates food that sat awhile. While the flavor of the enchiladas was decent, the cheese was already starting to solidify again. I do not plan to return.

Tried a couple of Mango Margaritas and the following: Deep Fried Carnitas, Enchiladas de Camaron, and a Cheese Enchilada a la carte. Everything was well prepared and very flavorful. Unfortunately, my 90-year-old mother-in-law was not feeling well and got sick, but not from anything we drank or ate here. There was hardly any meat on the bone, and I'm not exaggerating when I say there were maybe two pieces of hominy in the entire bowl. How do you serve pozole with no hominy? We mentioned it to two different waitresses. We were told, "We're sorry. Can we get you something else or take it off the bill?" We politely declined getting something else, but after acknowledging how bad the pozole was and offering to remove it, it was still left on our bill. I understand that sometimes a dish just doesn't come out right, but the way it was handled made the experience even more disappointing. If a customer brings up a legitimate issue with their food--especially when the bowl is clearly missing one of the main ingredients--I would expect the restaurant to make it right without the customer having to keep asking. The only positive part of the meal was the chips--they were fresh and really good. Unfortunately, we came for pozole, and what we were served was nowhere near what pozole should be. Very disappointing experience.

The way it was going to be prepared was with spring mix, which I don't prefer. I asked for a spicy skinny margarita, and they were able to accommodate me for that as well! Yummy! The food was mediocre but preferred the "on the spot" chef selection where we could order, chilaquiles, fresh tacos, omelets, and quesadillas. The menudo seemed as if it were sitting in the warmer so long it created a dry, thick layer at the top from sitting there for who knows how long. The churros were hard, unsweetened fruits, and dry macaroni salad. The tacos, quesadillas, and chef made eggs were tasteful. The waitress was very attentive and constantly changing out of dishes. Perhaps this day was a fluke as the hostess mentioned they are usually crowded but it was pretty empty when we arrive at 12:30.
