Ok, first off...this is not Mexican food. You don't find hamburgers and chicken nuggets in a Mexican restaurant. Then, you order a burrito for $7.75, a mid-range price for a decent sized burrito...but add cheese and they charge you an extra $2?!?! And not even tell you. Maybe like .75, not $2. And I don't even find any cheese in the burrito, must be $2 because it's invisible. THEN the bait and switch...Sunday tacos for ONLY 60 cents?!?! What a deal! Not. They want to charge you a dollar to get limes. And they need lime, no flavor in the meat anyway. Then chips are another dollar, but wait, you want salsa with the chips? Another dollar. Then went to go sit down and most of the tables were not clean. The menudo taste is not great at all, and although they give you a few limes for it, it's not nearly enough for the bowl. My 60 cent taco Sunday cost over $25, and I left unsatisfied. Wait! I forgot...when I arrived I stopped at the restroom and it was disgusting. Someone had flooded the stall, left a ton of paper and seat covers, and the seat cover dispenser was half hanging off the wall. The urinal barely flushes so you have urinate on other people's urine. Ew. The sink is damaged, wet and dirty...and the paper towel dispenser barely works. read more

They are always super busy on taco Tuesday so come early! The line can sometime go out the door! Try to catch them after the lunch crowd because there are always a bunch of people coming over that work at the many business buildings in the area. Tried their tacos and they're pretty good. The red sauce can get pretty hot so beware! Nothing special about the tacos though, they tasted average. The main thing with this place is being able to find a place to sit if you come during lunch(which I did). read more

This place is disgusting from the customer service to the food. I came in for taco Tuesday we spent over $30 and the cashier was very rude. She kept messing up our order while we were trying to place it. When we got our tacos they only gave us 2 salsas for like 12 tacos...like really?! Well when we sat down to eat the meat was I've cold!! Of course I sent it back the sever had an attitude when I told her the meat was cold. They just threw the meat from the tacos on the grill instead of remaking the order of course I got food poisoning! While we were inside the restaurant they decided to start mopping with bleach! The outside of this place looked a little run down but the inside was spacious and clean. The cashier at the front was a great help with all of the different questions I had. We had ordered the Rancho burrito which seriously had everything in it, the bean and cheese burrito which was huge and two of their 60¢ Sunday Tacos. I've never left a restaurant so upset before, ZERO STARS! Usually I'm quite understanding for blips but this was unacceptable. 1. No service: they gave me a table number with a bell on it so that when my order was ready, it would be delivered to my table as they were doing with other customers there. HOWEVER, after not hearing my number be called I assumed they would bring it to my table like everyone else's, but instead the girl rudely dropped my tray on my table with MAJOR ATTITUDE and was like "43???" as if I was entitled to some crazy special treatment. 2. QUALITY IS LACKING: I ordered a torta and it was suppose to come with beans. I open the torta to notice that there was the thinnest layer of beans AND ONLY ON HALF THE TORTA!!! I wish I was exaggerating to say but this is what really happened. The meat was chewy and dry, didn't realize I had ordered a beef jerky sandwich. 3. Health regulators please come: went to the bathroom to throw up the jerky and realized there's no soap, paper, toilet paper, or anything you should be able to find in a bathroom. Notified manager and they did nothing. I don't know what people see in this place or how it's still runniing but I just paid $10 for a really overpriced beef jerky torta and chips. I called for takeout on Friday and just felt super ripped off and disappointed. I didn't get ripped in terms of like not having a good amount of food. I ordered their cucamonga burrito w/o beans but when I took it back to work to eat, it was missing some damn key ingredients and I just felt so unsatisfied in many ways. The burrito came with free nachos but I wasn't provided with salsa which I guess it's my fault for not asking BUT.....the Cucamonga burrito that I ordered w/o beans were suppose to come with sour cream and guacumole and it didn't. I just felt the whole burrito to be very dry because it lacked those important ingredients. I drive by this place everyday after work, so I finally took the time to give it a try Friday night. I really wish I didn't. For all of us we made it through a few bites and we decided to throw the food away, it didn't taste like Mexican food it tasted like something old from the freezer aisle heavily, as I mean heavily salted. (And no I ain't one of those people who don't use salt) My 8 year old son said, "my burrito tastes weird Momma" so I cut it open and I kid you not it honestly had a feces smell. It's Saturday now and my whole family is sick with what I think is food poisoning, not to be vulgar but we all have diarrhea. I feel really bad that my son doesn't feel well because today is his birthday. Don't hurt your family like I did, avoid this place. We ordered a chili verde burrito, carne asada burrito, and enchiladas. Update: I called the business and they told me they have a lot of issues with people saying their food is bad so they don't have to pay for their meal. He was quite defensive. That's pretty sad that this is happening to them though. I remember the story of two dine dashers trying to cause backlash on Chipotle. However, it's no excuse for bad food and maybe the loss in revenue they are experiencing is what led to our experience. Maybe this is why the food was old? Decent food. Ordered the taco, enchilada and taquito meal. Got the hard shell shredded beef taco which was so good and had a great amount of meat. The cheese enchilada was weird for me because the sauce was thick and the taste reminded me of pizza sauce. The chicken taquito and guacamole were delicious and much longer than what I expected. My meal came with chips and 3 salsas. The green was good and had a little kick. The chunky red one was to die for!! So I'm just now recover from the intense food poisoning I got from this place. My husband and I have been so sick. The place was honestly very neglected, dusty and dirty. We sat in a booth and there was a lot of dust behind us. The service girl was very sweet, no complaints there, but somewhere in the food prep someone forgot to wash something, or something went bad and my friends and I suffered for it. I'm leaving this review in hopes that they'll take this more seriously and have more success in the future. read more

Tonight, 4/22 (check # 20114) I went El Ranchero on Haven and ordered the #1 3 taco plate w/Lengua and was told that it's .85 cents extra for lengua when 2 weeks ago I ordered the same thing and was NOT charged extra for the lengua. In addition, I also ordered the #6 plate -3 beef taquitos. I get home took a couple bites of my taquitos and realized that they were chicken. I did eat them bc I don't live that close to that location. When I called to complain, I was asked if I lived close I told her "no" and that I wasn't going to drive all the way back - she then said that they couldn't refund me bc I ate them. I said I didn't want a refund but a rain check for a correct order. She said since they were eaten they couldn't provide a refund. It has been my experience when a restaurant has messed up on a food order, they make it right by providing the correct order free of charge AND THEY DO NOT TAKE THE WRONG ORDER BACK! I love Mexican food. I could probably eat it everyday. It's amazing, so when I like a place I really love it! Anyways we picked up some food last weekend & everything we got was just right! I had a combo plate with a shredded beef enchilada & hard taco & a chicken taquito. I just had the taco & taquito & saved the enchilada for the next day to eat with the rice & beans. BTW everything still tasted great the next day. Oh & I love their guacamole. So yummy! My fiancé loved his burrito & my son devoured his kids meal - corndog & fries. My daughter just had a little bit of everything from everyone's plate. This wasn't the first time we have eaten here, but it was definitely better than our first experience for dinner. Their breakfast is just as good. Can't really mess up chorizo & eggs, so their beans in the breakfast burrito set it apart from others I've tried. We will definitely eat there again, since mexican food is near & dear to my heart. & since this has been sitting in my que to publish for a couple of weeks, I have since eaten here on a Sunday...they have .50 cent tacos!! Can't beat that, the el pastor ones are to die for & yes we ordered 15 tacos, had a coupon to get one of their fry plates free when you buy one (fries covered in carne asada, cheese, guacamole & sour cream!) & a side or rice and beans. The food is great! Some of it is remniscent of my grandmother's. With so much competition, it is hard to find great food, let alone consistent,and low priced. While in line the family in front of us was chatting it up with us. The husband was very enthusiastic about what he was about to order. He suggested the chile verde (Which was FANTASTIC BTW!) and the menudo served on the weekend. I will definitely try the menudo soon. I plan on repeating my business here. I have eaten here a lot now and still keep forgetting to stop and rate them. Honestly, the food isn't too bad. I usually go for breakfast because its practically empty and they have a cheap huevos rancheros plate on special in the morning and they honor my check-in offer all the time. The beans and rice are really good. Some of the burritos are pretty good, but stay away from their burgers! Most disgusting burger I have ever had. It was accompanied by freezer burned fries. Lunch time its packed, so service is slow and tables are left long without being cleaned and sometimes they run out of fountain drinks. Oh man. I would have bumped up my star rating had it not been for my lunch time experiences. Breakfast time would be rated higher in my opinion.
