    Seafood ceviche.

The food was excellent. All the food was mouth watering . They took time to explain the menu, if where a new to the restaurant. It's very modern looking place and cozy. I would return, for the great food.

Stopped here on a whim. Food was delicious, the ceviche was my favorite. The lomo saltado was made with quality meat and it did not disappoint. My husband ordered the tallarin plate and he really enjoyed it. They serve bread with your meal and my son liked it so much we ordered seconds. The service was great, our server suggested what dishes to try and we were pleased with his suggestions. The restaurant was clean and the lights set the vibe for a great meal. We'll definitely come back again.

El Rocoto was my go-to Peruvian restaurant in college and has served me well for many years! Parking can be tricky since they share a lot with other restaurants, but the service is consistent and I never have to wait too long for a table. Their arroz con mariscos is a must-order! I prefer this to Spanish/Cuban paella, but that's just me. Their alfajores are also delicious.

The server Jorge made our families experience so memorable!! Thank you for the amazing food and service for our big group. The tacu tacu especial was delicious and tasted authentic as well as the lomo saltado and seco!

The food was delicious, and the portions were huge....definitely worth the money! Everything was flavorful without being greasy. The warm bread with the dipping sauces was such a tasty and unique touch. The atmosphere was calm with upbeat music, and the service was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We tried the recommended dishes, and they did not disappoint. Will definitely be back!

Go early so you dont have to wait. We try to make it once a month and we have something different each time. Our server, Jorge, was so attentive and gave a great recommendation. We had the seco de carne and lomo Saltado. Soft but upbeat Spanish music playing in the background to create such a great atmosphere.

Service was spot on, my jameson & seven served fast and stiff. The tacu tacu seafood was hit of the night, the oxtail was over salty. Everything else was tasty and made for a great family dinner....but the bill? $167.

A friend and I met up for lunch. We sat down right away. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. We ordered a ceviche mixto and shrimp with rice. My ceviche was ok. It needed more flavor or spice. Just felt like it needed more of something. Shrimp rice plate was good. Bread and sauces are always a hit. The restaurant is very popular and busy. Family friendly environment and nice and clean. I'd come back but not for the ceviche.

The food was amazing we had a group of 10 people and we had no complaints about the warmth and flavors of the food. The chaufa and lomo saltado was my favorite forsure id always recommend that to anyone trying this for their first time... Service and ambience was basically flawless as well don't forget about the free breads you get with your meals as well ‍

Casual , Peruvian food spot . I was there for lunch, my server Claudia was sweet and provided the kind of warm service I was craving. The menu has all the Peruvian known staples but I went with tallarin verde and Papa a la Huancaina. Something I don't see or cook often and It was yummy , reminds me of my family home cooking Glad I stopped there, I will be back

Parking was easy in the plaza. Service was decent. I got the Tallarin Verde with Grilled Chicken. I the pasta bland, chicken was just okay. My friend got the fried rice and she found it bland. Prices were up there, not worth it imo.

Came here for 2 Birthdays. We loved it so much the first time we came again. We really enjoy the Peruvian food here. The staff is always welcoming and accommodating. It's not a big place. Very intimate. You can never go wrong with their most popular dishes, their Saltados. You can choose steak, chicken, or seafood. Comes with French fries and white rice. Food is delicious.

Wow! This place was incredible. Jonathan was our server; he was knowledgeable, kind and friendly. We also had a secondary server who was also fantastic but I didn't catch her name. It was my first time but the others had been before and raved about the delicious food. We came for my brother in law's birthday; they even gave him a galleta/ cookie for dessert. The restaurant was cozy and authentic with Peruvian decor; also lots of space for our large party. Our family enjoyed many of the appetizers and main plates including pulpit a la parilla, various sashimi, tallarin verde, tacu tacu de mariscos (especially flavorful) and I had the fettuccine Huancaina, which was absolutely incredible. Our family shared and enjoyed every plate we tried. I don't think this place is hidden; it's been here for many years and it's a gem! Best birthday dinner we've had in a long time. Thank you, El Rocoto!

Ordered Papas Fritas but got charged for an item that wasn't even on the menu

The burrito was tasty - loaded with eggs, bacon and ham, hash browns with crispy bits, cheese, and fresh pico de gallo. 10/10 Salsa Verde was flavorful, could use more heat. 9/10 The buttermilk biscuits were topped with sausage gravy. The biscuits were great, crispy on the edges, soft in the middle. The gravy was too salty for both of us. It's our first time here, so I'm not certain if that is how the gravy normally is or if they just got a bit heavy handed with the salt today. Unfortunately, great food and friendly service weren't enough to outweigh the inconveniences. I'm not high-maintenance, but I do value a smooth dining experience. My friend wasn't allowed to be seated until I arrived, which felt unnecessary. They also wouldn't provide separate checks. We were told they could accept two forms of payment on one check, but when it came time to pay, they would only split the bill evenly, even though I ordered more than my friend. The seating was very cramped, there wasn't a mirror in the restroom, and the toilet didn't flush. The food was great, but the overall experience wasn't. I'd recommend ordering to-go instead. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

This appears to be one of Porto's newer locations, with a huge parking lot in the back and plenty of indoor seating. We arrived early, so the line was short, but judging by the number of people coming in, I can see why it gets busy later in the day. The staff was fantastic--friendly, efficient, and always smiling despite how busy they were. The food was outstanding. I had the seasonal Apple Pomegranate Salad, which was fresh, crisp, and full of flavor. My daughter ordered the black bean soup and absolutely loved it. My wife and son went all in on the pastries and couldn't stop talking about how delicious everything was. The Jalapeño Cheese Potato Ball was perfectly crispy and flavorful, the fresh plantain chips were addictive, and the Mango Mousse Cake was light, refreshing, and beautifully made. Every pastry we tried was fresh, high quality, and looked as amazing as it tasted. The drinks were also excellent. One thing that really stood out was watching so many customers leave with large boxes of Porto's famous cheese rolls and guava strudels to take home for family and friends--that says a lot about how loved this bakery is. As a vegetarian, I was pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of options available. I had no trouble finding delicious food and desserts. If you're a meat lover, you'll have even more choices and probably be in heaven! Porto's offers incredible quality at very reasonable prices, making it an easy recommendation for anyone visiting Disneyland or the Buena Park area. We'll definitely make this a tradition on future Disneyland trips. I can't wait to come back!

I got excited as we walked in because of how cool the vibe was inside the restaurant! Modern and clean aesthetic ... such a surprise! I had already looked at the menu the night before, so I made some suggestions for our party of four adults and kiddo. Our server brought fresh sourdough rolls with seasoned butter. Solid start. We then ordered the stuffed 'shrooms and proscuitto-arugula pizza as starters. Both were very excellent, and was tell-tale of what we were about to experience with our entrees. Entrees ordered were the rigatoni with vodka sauce, the pappardelle with shortrib (two servings but really enough food for at least four ppl!) and the chicken Parmesan salad. Everything was impressive, especially the pappardelle dish. With the beurre blanc and creamy Alfredo sauce with two huge pieces of short rib that were fork tender, it was the star of the evening. This dish is made table-side to ensure that it's eaten immediately. The portions were enough for four ppl, and the sauce is just absolutely decadent. Service was attentive and prompt. Our server was lovely! She shared her favorites with us, and we followed suit by ordering her favorite desserts too! The bread pudding was amazing, but the carrot cake, being a new recipe, was just a bit too sweet for our palates. Plenty of parking as it is onsite. Loved that!

The desert and cocktails were nice but due to the service it did not make up for the overall experience. Desert: Tiramisu 4/5 - great flavor, ratio of cream was too much compared to cake portion Canolli 4/5 - duo flavors were nice and had a good shell with crunch Crème brûlée 2/5 - pistachio flavor was light and it's was almost too warm and liquidy. Cocktails overall some major hits and other misses. Sgroppino 5/5 - strong but with a great flavor profile Dragon fruit cocktail 2/5 - too light tasting, not much flavor or alcohol? Gave more juice Peach Bellini 4.5/5 - table side pour is nice touch and rest of bottle was nice. Syrup has a sourness but mixed in with Bellini and gelato and tasted just right.
