They tried to charge me $50 for a very below average SNS manicure. Didn't clip my nails or use lotion. The girl even cut me. It was nothing special at all and $50 is ridiculous. I've never seen SNS priced more than $35. Will not be returning. Thank u, next read more

Updated review! This place has now become my go to nail salon. It is a little pricier than other nail salons for mani/pedis, but I think worth the extra $ for the nice clean space and reliable service. (A mani/pedi is $45). They always have nice instrumental music playing with TVs all around on random channels - most of the time a cooking channel. They use fresh liners on the pedi spas every time, clean clothes, etc. It is one of the cleanest nail salons I have been to. And the massage chairs are great! Once you go in a few times, everyone is very friendly and gets to know you. There are a lot of regulars that come in. And now, I am happy to say that I am one of them! They always do a great job on my nails. Tip - Pay an extra $10 and get a 10 minute massage. Totally worth it. *The first time I came here (as you can see from other review), it wasn't a great experience. Looking back, they were really busy when I went in and I must have just been unlucky with my service provider. I am glad I gave them another try. Totally redeemed. read more

This has become my new regular nail salon where I meet one of my best friends at every two weeks for a mani/pedi date. She actually introduced me to the salon, and she said they were so pleasant and always seemed to want to please you as a customer. Even when they are busy, they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and taken care of. I like the size of it, not too big, and the foot massage is one of the best I've ever had! This is my favorite place to get my nails done in Charlotte. They're always accommodating and helpful and do a good job. Their gel manicure is better and lasts longer than any other place in Charlotte. They have tons of regulars too. The staff is very friendly and it has a nice atmosphere. The gel manicure is $35 which is a little more than other places but it's worth it. Also if you're a nail biter with thin nails like me they have a cool powder gel that doesn't damage like acrylic. I went in for a gel pedicure and it took 20 minutes total for my feet to soak, for my toe nails to be shaped, and to paint and dry the nail polish. Worst experience...did not fee that it was worth the price. I was charged $40 for that...no massage or scrubbing. I wouldn't even rate this as a one star experience. I wish I could give this place 0 stars. My grandma has visited this salon twice, and she was ripped off and taken advantage of during both her visits. On her most recent trip, she was told that a basic manicure and pedicure was $35. Upon check out, they charged her $45. When she asked about the extra $10, the woman told her they charge $10 to remove the old polish. I've NEVER heard of a salon doing this before, and it is absolutely disgusting attempt to scam their clients. It is clear this salon is taking advantage of customers and trying to up-charge them for literally reason. To make matters worse, the woman then asked my grandmother how much her tip would be, AFTER attempting to charge her the extra $10. This place is a complete and total scam, and they need to be reviewed by the Better Business Bureau... PLEASE do not give them your money. read more

To begin they are absolutely horrible and a HUGE RIP OFF, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE FROM THE NORTH ! I went in today for manicure and pedicure and on the phone she said it was 35.00 dollars. The pedicure was horrible, the woman next to me was there at least 20 minutes prior to me and I was finished within 15 minutes for manicure and pedicure. The young woman who did not want to touch my feet, gave horrible massage with no effort or enjoyment. She was rude, talking to her mates in Chines or Korean as she did my pedicure. The woman to right was being treated like queen, for me it was 1,2,3 out of the chair. She cut many corners and did horrible job. I could not wait to run out the door. THE BEST PART, SHE CHARGES MY CREDIT CARD $45,00, that is correct for regular manicure and pedicure, I almost dropped to the floor. When I asked about the price, she told me she had to pay rent for her pricey location. This salon is old, with old equipment, no beverages offered, not even a magazine, they do not sterilize the equipment. This is definitely BUYER BEWARE. read more

ALERT: This place is dirty and they do not sterilize their instruments! UNSANITARY!This is the worst place I have ever been. I went with family members today for a pedicure and let me just say it was a disaster from the moment we walked in. The chairs only move forward and backwards. The nail tech that did my pedicure did not speak one word to me. She worked really fast even though no one was waiting. She only cut my nails and filed them and did not do my cuticles at all. She did a super fast moving leg massage for no more than two minutes and then had me dip my feet into a community paraffin container. Yuck! Then she peeled off the paraffin and dried my toes and slapped the nail polish on. After the coat was applied she just put the topcoat on my big toe and then just touched the bush in a single dot on my other toes. The top coat didn't even cover the polish. She got up and I looked at my toes and there was polish all over my skin. I asked her if she could remove the excess polish and she proceeded to actually strip off some of the polish on my toes. She got the polish back out and touched up several spots she striped off with the brush. She said thank you and got up and walked away. I asked her how much that pedicure was and she said 35 dollars. Not only is this the most unprofessional place I have ever been to but my pedicure was less than 20 minutes at best. My family members and I will NEVER return to this dump. As a final note, my polish has chipped off my toes within 6 hours. DO NOT GO HERE! read more

Just for a simple color gel set they charge me $40 no design and on top of that they wanted to charge me more then that. I can get it done cheaper that. The decor is nice, but if you are looking for hygiene, this is not the place. During my visit, I saw 3 instances where tools were reused. Seriously, I saw the nail tech take the tool bucket from one pedicure seat to the next client with no sort of cleaning or switching out of the tools to clean ones! I rarely go for mani/pedis, so maybe this is the norm b/c people didn't seem to care or aren't observant. I work in healthcare, so this to me is gross to me. Google MRSA and staph people!!!! I've been getting my nails done since I was 16 (30 years) both in NY and NC and it's unfortunate that I can't get my nails done in the closest place to my home. I've been twice in the last month and both times they overcharged me without saying a word! Today I got a manicure and needed gels removed off only 4 fingers and they charged me $4.00 extra! Last month I stopped by because I wasn't feeling good and needed to get home instead of driving to my regular place and called and was told a mani/pedi was $45.00. They did mani and pedi at the same time ( I hate this! this is my relaxation time, don't rush me) and when I was done it was $70.00. Nice of them to bump me up to a deluxe mani/pedi without asking. Fortunately, I can afford to get this luxury done but the principles of this place stink!! This won't be my last review or email. The BBB is next. Talk about selling a customer a product they didn't ask for !? If you ladies will take the time to drive just 10 minutes more, this place would close and we can get an honest, reputable, good business in there!
