So the CURB monitoring system was installed 4 months later and it really is nice. About 10 months in there was one equipment failure (the inverter) that got resolved and I got compensated for. Three of my panels have been defective since installation and it has been over 5 months and they have not been replaced. The system also does not produce what they said it would produce. They have been billing us for over a year now and yet have not connected services Sergi always promises to return our payments and till a year now we have not received anything. They came installed a box in the wrong building if the home and have not came to move it or even connect it we are receiving double billing and they are very bad at communicating back. They are dishonorable. Don't trust anything they say. Daniel told me that there would be a surplus on my account by the time my first bank loan payment was due. I was paying the bank and NV Energy for several months before they got the paperwork done to get the net metering hooked up which meant that I was paying the bank long before I started to see an offset on my energy bill. They also promised to pay a cash incentive which they have yet to pay. I'm now taking them to small claims. Avoid the hassle and go with someone else! read more

A nice young man knocked my door and tried to explain his Solar product. I usually don't open door for anyone but I made an exception and answered a few questions. I wasn't interested in getting Solar but i was curious what the benefit might be. I asked him to provide some kind of brochure or something that I could read. He said his associate will come by next day to provide that. So I made an appointment for the next day. Next day, here I was, watching Thursday night football game, very first football game of the year, his associate showed up at my door. I just wanted to grab whatever the paperwork he had to offer, so I could read it later. Instead, he was ready to give 1 hour 30 minutes long presentation. I wasn't interested in any presentation, I wasn't even interested in Solar panel to begin with! However, I did feel bad for the gentleman because he said he drove 40 minutes to get to my place. I was being apologetic for wasting his time. First gentleman the day before never explained to me it would take over a hour for a presentation. I just wanted some brochure to read and his associate was bringing it next day, that was it. I was ready to go back to my place and enjoy watching the game. Then the gentleman said 'What's more important to you? Watching a football game, watching those guys get rich? or making a better decision for your financial future?' That's when he lost my respect. I was actually going to give him some gas money for coming a long way, but his demeanor just killed it. Kudos to these guys on their effort to make sales. But they need to know the line they shouldn't cross. They should not worry about anybody's financial future while their best interest is getting a commission from the sale. read more

I've been a customer for Elevation for nearly 4 years now, the customer service regarding Elevation is absolutely atrocious. I sent emails to Elevation regarding a higher Energy bill late June, suspecting that my solar system was having potential problems. After MULTIPLE EMAILS AND CALLS, I finally received a response after 3 MONTHS regarding our Solar Inverter being broken. During these 3 months of little to no responses by Elevation, we were still paying our loan even though we had no service with our Solar System. I've called and emailed Elevation for a potential reimbursement for the 3 months of no service, and STILL NO RESPONSE! Please, AVOID THIS COMPANY! read more

First off, this company started as 5 star. Great salesman, great design. Workmanship was great, crew was very professional and everything looked good. They finished everything and submitted to NV Energy for my new meter. NV Energy show up and says the jobs not done. Shows me the wires with tape on the end and not hooked up and no breaker installed in the panel for the system. So back to emails and texts but just hearing crickets. I took them at their word, system is paid in full. Really two wires and a breaker, a 5 minute job to swing by and finish the install-This is hard part for me to take, the hard part of everything, install, permits is done. I should be producing 6 days ago, now they're costing me 6 dollars a day. A little communication saying we have a person scheduled to come out would relieve my worries but nothing but dead air. Did a ton of research on which Solar company to go with. After meeting with 3 companies, the Elevation Rep seemed to be most knowledgeable and promised a great experience. I had panels on the roof within 10 days, which was much faster than I ever expected. Highly recommend this company if you are considering solar. read more

If I could give a zero rating I would. This company is a total rip off. It took four months to get the service activated. When I reached out to the rep. Brian he wrote me a check to hush me up and not cancel the service! He also told me if in one year the usage was great than the production they would install more panels at zero additional cost. When I reached out to Amy Froerer she basically brushed me off saying that's not what they do. So I decided I want to cancel the solar. They are now holding me hostage with a product I don't want. Do not do business with this company. I have reached out to the attorney general, so hopefully the investigation will lead to the down fall of this sham company. read more

Installation did take close to 2 months but he walked me through everything so my expectations were accurate. My HOA caused most of the hold up. So far so good! Worst customer service, signed up in October and my system still is not complete. Tech Justin shows up unannounced, and doesn't resolve the issues. Then he comes and repairs a roof tile they broke during installation. A third grader could have done a better job. Customer service sets me a appointment no call no show, I call the company and they tell me it was for the following week. Again a no call no show I call customer service, get put on hold customer service rep tells me that Justin is on his way. We paid $43,000 for our solar. Anyone with a inverter that comes from SOLAR EDGE beware. We have been without solar for three months and cannot get anyone to fix this problem. I've had three inverters already go out within 3 1/2 years. I'm going to file a complaint with the BBB and contact the news media to try to get some help. Elevation puts the warranty out to Solar Edge and they ignore the warranty. Many companies use SOLAR EDGE. I would advice any potential customer to not buy solar if the company uses SOLAR EDGE Inverters. Solar Edge does not stand by their warranty. read more

As expected you don't see many positive reviews when searching yelp. I've had my system active for a couple years now. The installation process was very smooth and professional. They even removed my pools solar heater when asked. I did have an inverter go out around year one, but they promptly replaced it under warranty. I currently have a ticket in for the system not communicating and keeping my app updated. The system is generating power just fine though. A tickets been loaded and I'm awaiting a response. Anyone complaining about still having an NV Energy bill either didn't listen to the salesman or didn't do their own research. You're still connected to the NV Energy grid. You're generating power and sending it to the grid. You have a minimal monthly bill for the NV Energy service somewhere around $15 I believe. Make sure you keep your lifestyle in mind as the years progress. If you're energy usage goes up (install a pool, family grows, etc.) you need to expand your solar array. This should require a separate loan unless you buy them outright. I hope this helps someone looking for an honest good experience. read more

We personally take care of our customers anyway we can, if we can. Some things are beyond our control such as lighting and critter guard however, we would have done whatever we could to help. From day one I have had problems with this company. The delivery guy dropped off all the material next to my mailbox on the street where anyone could help themselves to it. I had my gate open and was waiting for him. Didn't bother to knock on my door. I should have cancelled from then. I gave them a chance but then they would start the installation then disappear for days. The installers told me 5 times that they were coming and no on showed up. Not even a call. I have had only bad service and it took 7 months to start receiving solar. Customer service was horrible. They go through personnel like crazy. Now a year later my solar panels are NOT producing any energy. I found out when my last electric bill arrived. No one answers their customer service number. I think they folded up. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY!! This company has done nothing but lie to us from day one. I am to the point of talking to a lawyer regarding this company. The sales person promised our bill from NV would be $17.00 monthly plus the monthly bill from the solar finance company and we were lead to believe that we were getting a rebate check for $13,000. We have been is this house 8 months now and we have yet to see a bill of $17.00 from NV Power and the rebate check is actually not a check, but a tax credit, so whether or not we receive the money back, remains to be seen. After a few months of paying double bills (one from the solar finance company and one from NV power) I called Elevation Solar and the lady on the phone said it takes a few months to build up credit before NV Power will buy the power back from you, then it will reduce your bill. Each month our power bill has gone down slightly, but the amount of the power bill combined with the solar bill is still way more than we would be paying for power alone at this time of year. This week we called the solar company to find out why our power bill is still so high. We are being told we do not have enough panels on our roof to cover our energy consumption. Originally our panels were not approved by NV Power because they said we had too many! Now we are being told that after a year in the house with solar, we could revisit the number of panels we need and make the adjustment. So, after a year of double bills, one for power and one for solar, we MIGHT be able to get an adjustment that MIGHT save us some money. This company has been very misleading from day one. They make promises to get your business, sign you up, and then talk around everything they promised when when you confront them. Do NOT use this company! read more

Worst service you could ever receive. Our system stopped producing solar on July 11. We were not aware until our $300 NV Energy bill showed up. The representative we spoke with said it is the inverter going bad due to the extreme heat. WHAT???? It is solar and produces energy from the sun. It has now been 10 days and I called for status. The inverter arrived from Solar Edge to Elevation and we are scheduled for Sept. 10. A phone call would be nice since we are scheduled and did not even know. So then ask about compensation as it is under warranty. Nope nothing! We had issues with Jordan and the sales group when we purchased and now have issues again. Worst decision I have ever made. Every single time there is an issue it is no/no/no and you have to write about your experience or go up the chain to get someone to listen and act. And for those that get told your sales people like Jordan appreciate you and stay in touch. WRONG. We have not heard from Jordan or a sales person on how the system is since we went live. read more

It's not even 2 years and my unit is down until now. A tech came and told me that the panel broke down now I'm paying my electric bill and the solar. They said they dont compensate.
