My husband and I have gone here the last two years for our anniversary and we love it! The food is delicious as are the martinis. The only suggestion I would like to make is maybe give the waitstaff a refresher on customer service, not that they were rude they were just very blah. Met a friend for lunch. ( Dec 19) They were doing some repairs and had extension cords running out the front door But once we got waited on , we didn't notice the ongoing repairs. It was a nice quiet lunch, server was accommodating and attentive. Food was hot and portions were decent. Eleven 11 has a casual and pleasant vibe. There's something for everyone on the menu. We have been there several times and we especially enjoyed the Hudson Valley Restaurant Week menu. Absolutely no seasoning on the fish tacos. Fries were cold. Low quality burger - no taste. Super slow service. After our bill was payed in cash to the waitress she declared we short changed her by $50. Absolutely not true. We counted and recounted and even were generous with our tip. They stopped us on the way out and wouldn't let us leave without paying extra. We will not ever be back. We had our sons' Rehearsal Dinner at Eleven11's beautiful loft. We could not have been more pleased. The room is perfect, both comfortable and attractive. The food was delicious and plentiful. We recently held our wedding reception here in their private upstairs loft. This is a great place for a special event or intimate wedding(we had 50 guests). Intimate setting with lovely exposed brick wall. Good selection of draft beers. Reasonable prices and attentive service. I had the special - the pan-seared rainbow trout - and it was tender and delicious, served with a well-prepared melange of spring vegetables and rice. This was promising as we were walked in but very disappointed to say the least when we walked out. Our party of 14 was the only table in the restaurant. The food took 1 hour to arrive. Cold fries bland food. We were there for lunch but then charged us dinner prices. On top of that mistake they accused us of shorting the bill $50. A little too much of the "comfort food" (burgers, shepard's pie, etc) but that is what most people in the area are looking for, so they are catering to their customer. Absolutely fantastic experience! The place was small and intimate! The food was amazing .. I ordered the artichoke spinach dip which came with chips as well as vegetables .. Then had a small salad with the tomato basil dressing .. Then the main course which was the eleven eleven chicken pasta which had sun dried tomatoes and mozzarella and a creamy pesto sauce and chicken .. It was the best meal I had had it a while! My boyfriend and I wanted to try someplace new and chose Eleven 11 after we were impressed by its ambience. Unfortunately, the warm and cozy ambience did not last. After we ordered our food, we waited over a half hour for our salads, which were lackluster at best, and nearly an hour for our entrees. The food was of average quality and the portions were generous but not worth such a wait. The waitress was not very attentive so that we had to ask about our food more than once. During out wait and dinnner, the kitchen was experiencing ventilation problems so that the restaurant became smoky. They had to open the front multiple times letting in cold air. The smoke irritated my eyes. The staff was not apologetic when we asked them to close the doors (we weren't yet bothered by the smoke) and spoke as we just had to deal with it. Overall, a disappointing evening. We are not likely to go back.p read more
