It's weird that he didn't think there was a 1% chance that this curated coffee shop would ever make any adjustments. Now I'm sitting in my car and my two drinks suck and is way different. We are always welcomed with a smile and were even told on one visit in particular, "enjoy our time here." Often times, coffee shops make you feel like an uninvited guest. In a world that seems to be rushing around on tight schedules, this coffee shop is a nice and refreshing departure. Bonus stars to Kevin and all the staff who are incredibly hospitable.

And if you're familiar with einspanner, essentially it's coffee with whipped cream in it. So that's exactly what I went for. The café is clean and trendy. The baristas are very sweet and after a few minutes my drink was ready. I gave it a little mix and took my first sip. I will say the coffee itself is strong. You can definitely taste the coffee, but it's something about the thickness of the whipped cream that didn't quite mix well with the coffee even after a good mix, the coffee is on the thicker side, which I didn't love. I believe I'm more of a cloud top person that's more airy, which is easier to get mixed in than a thicker cream. maybe I'll love it if I get it hot so that way the cream melts into the hot coffee, but having it iced isn't for me. I'll come back when it starts to get cold outside.

This place has been on my friends want to visit list and I wanted a pick me up and to grab a bite to eat to start out our day. It's located at the corner of an already fairly busy plaza with lots of eateries and other businesses there so parking can get a bit tough, but we were able to wait for somebody to leave and take their parking. Just keep this in mind if you go at an even busier time of day. There was a line to order, but there's different ways to order, either at their kiosk or with their cashier. While in line, you can take a look at their menu or at their merchandise which looks like it has the title card text from the Evangelion series. Very amusing. If you're local or are a fan, you can participate in their passport series and get, I believe, 6 stamps, to exchange for a tote bag. Cute art of some original characters and a tiger. Maybe they can duke it out with a Korean smoking tiger if they truly wished to do so. There's light bites here, fridge items, desserts, coffee, teas, matcha, etc. Some counter and bar seating, outdoor seating (all taken and super limited, but it was cute and pink), and lots of tables and chairs throughout, but it was packed when we went and packed when we left. Easily a very popular place to hang out or to get some work done. For our visit, we got the: 1) Vietnamese Coffee Aussie Series: -This is a Vietnamese coffee with a milk soft serve on top and Milo powder on top. Sweet and indulgent dessert-like drink. Nice coffee taste to it. -I got to enjoy the milk soft serve before mixing it into the coffee. It's a coffee float if anything and you can't go wrong with it. It's not overly sweet even with adding everything to it and I was able to sip it and enjoy it for a bit afterwards too. I would like to try other versions of this too. 2) Classic Egg Sando: -It's very light, bread is sweet. -It's pre-packaged in a plastic container. I've had better egg sandos at other cafes and at the maid cafe. The mayo is very, very light, and it's more of a snack than anything filling. I'd skip this. 3) Popcorn Chicken: -Asked for their five spice cayenne powder on the side and it comes with some yuzu mayo. -This was alright. Reminds me more of western style popcorn chicken in a nugget style, rather than the popcorn chicken that you would get at a boba place. Some of the pieces are in square pieces which is a bit strange looking. Slight crisp exterior, a bit bland even with pouring and shaking the entire powder onto it. Sauce made it a bit better. -Maybe getting the spicy version is the call. I took a sip of my friend's Banana Toffee Latte at no added sweetness to it. Nice subtle banana after taste. Slightly roasted flavor. Not too sweet or strong. Solid latte drink Drinks were good. Food was a bit of a miss, but I might give their pastas or baked goods a chance next time.

The filet mignon was tender and cooked just how we liked it, and the bánh mì wasn't overly toasted. The shrimp garlic noodles were flavorful. It was my first time trying beef tongue, and I enjoyed it, though I wish the fried rice had a bit more beef tongue in it. Overall, we had a great experience!

If you want to go to a boba place where you can get a decent drink, try Ding Tea on Bolsa and Westminster. Need any recommendations? I have a couple that I personally love, and you might like them, too. First off, I really like their Wintermelon Milk tea because it's milky and sweet. If you want something fruity or a green tea and are not a fan of milk, try the strawberry green tea. The prices are credible,and the drinks are cheap, ranging from $3-4. Ding Tea, a boba place, is somewhere you can interact with your friends and family. Sometimes they have days where you can get buy 2 get 1 free drink.There are also an abundance of employees working in the back. The one thing that's I'm ominous about this place is the workers. When i ordered my drink, I glowered at the employees because they were being boisterous. I am a bit skeptical of how they treat their customers differently than how they treat their friends. Other ding tea places aren't as hostile as this one,but they have definitely honed their tea skills and are really adept at making yummy beverages. Hello ding tea.. Your customer service is so terrible.. I waited for my order and I didnt hear my order.. All the other numbers was called that was after me.. So I went to the employee and asked him and he was ruined to me.. His response was like I been calling your number but no one come.. Hello... I was there the whole time.. Didnt even say sorry we called it already.. Anyways. You guys need to work more and not play around behind the counter.. Maybe your service will be a little faster.. Any who.. You guys need to find a way to make the place run more smoothly.. You guys are like chicken running around without their heads.. It doesn't take 20 mins to get a cup of teas.. Signature milk tea is pretty bland, not great. Mine has a strange aftertaste, maybe it was just the batch. But I've tried almost all the boba places in Westminster, and this is definitely on the lower end. Jasmine green milk tea is good, bumped this place from two stars to three for me. Golden boba is hard and chewy, not soft and chewy like I expect boba to me. It felt like plastic, not too sweet either. Service was extremely slow, and workers could not multitask for the life of them, but they were probably understaffed. All in all, glad I came so I know not to come back. read more

A quick question to the owner of DingTea on Bolsa street. The Brown milk tea and the Brown Sugar milk tea are the same, aren't they? I ordered the Brown sugar milk and then received the Brown MT. On Tuesday 01/22/2019 at 3 PM. You can check the camera. When I asked your employee for sure that my drink is right, she didn't even know. I stumbled upon this place while I was craving boba on my way home. It's a really cute place with good customer service ( kinda rushed me tho and it wasn't even crowded) I got the signature milk tea and if you're really into a tea with an after taste that really stands out I really recommend this. My friend got the peach green tea and she said it was really good and refreshing. The boba in my drink wasn't that pleasing for my taste because it was kinda slimy and pretty chewy. Milk teas are great. I like Ding Tea. However, employees always forget putting "add-on" for my drinks. I usually ordered an Oolong Milk tea with pudding and crystal boba (they charged me 50 cent for pudding and 75 cent for crystal boba), but they never put crystal boba in ( totally 4times). Moreover, 1 time they put a normal boba instead of crystal boba. How terrible they were! Nevertheless, cashiers talked a lot with their co-workers while their customers were waiting. I usually go to Ding Tea when my sisters crave boba, it's their second favorite boba store. Their go to is the jasmine milk tea w/ golden boba, hella bomb but has a strong floral taste to it. The hokkaido milk tea tasted pretty good, actually much better than the first time I had it though they did put too much ice in it. It was pretty quick service in my books. Parking was a breeze and everyone seemed to really like the drinks. The vibe was super chill. They do offer stamp cards so remember to get one. Even though it's a franchise, don't expect to get the same quality drinks at every location! I went to the new Fountain Valley one and I was quite disappointed!! Their milk did not taste right! I was honestly very surprised because the two portions of bánh tráng I received looked very different from what was shown in the pictures. There was really nothing special about them, and I'm not even sure how to describe the difference. Of course, every business has the right to set its own prices. But no matter what price you choose to charge, I believe the quality and quantity customers receive should match what they are paying for and what is being advertised.

Also, Im not really a picky eater. I've bought canned milk tea from H Mart for $1.50 that tastes much richer and more flavorful than this. Considering the price and how different the drink looked from the advertised photos, I was very disappointed. I can usually finish a 16 oz milk tea from other boba shops because they're sweet, creamy, and flavorful. With this drink, I couldn't even finish half of the 8 oz cup because it was so bland and watered down. I hate wasting food and drinks, but I ended up throwing it away after drinking only half. I'm honestly confused by all the high ratings. I'm not sure if there's a difference between drinks made for Uber Eats orders and those served in-store, but both of my Uber Eats orders were extremely watered down. The first time I picked it up myself, and the second time it was delivered within about 5 minutes of being made since I live only a couple of minutes away. So I don't think freshness or delivery time had anything to do with my experience.

Overall, good drink, nothing too special, but definitely a place I would come back and try their other Oolong tea options such as the Jasmine-Oolong Milk tea or their Smoked Oolong Milk tea. The store is pretty large with plenty of tables inside for you to sit and hangout with your friends and read/study. There are some claw machines around the store and I've often seen groups of friends playing with the board games or card games that are provided. The atmosphere here is very much relaxed and fun.
