It's Colorful in a personality kinda way Got a sassy server Reasonably efficient Gotta big menu Somewhat clean

Omlet and Hashbrowns

I was in town visiting and I use to come all the time when I was in high school. The inside just feels very empty and I think it would help this place a lot to upgrade the tables and chairs. The booth we sat in had green duck tape all over it to cover the holes. I think the quality has gone down quite a bit. The food was hot and came out quickly but it was very bland. No one really loved anything they got. Our waitress was very nice and was quick to refill our coffee. Overall, it's fine for breakfast but nothing that wows you.

Buttermilk Pancakes

I ordered the Southwest grilled chicken salad and it was great. It was covered in grilled chicken, finely shredded cheese, diced tomatoes, tortilla chips, and ranch dressing. My husband ordered pancakes and a side of sausage patties. He said they were some of the best pancakes he's ever had. I've never had a bad meal at Eli's. The servers are all friendly and attentive too. If you want a place with an extensive menu and phenomenal food I highly recommend it.

Wait time was not very long for a Sunday morning. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere for breakfast. The menu has a wonderful selection of breakfast items. The food is not anything out of the norm.

The omelettes are huge and can be split

My favorite breakfast spot. They make the BEST eggwhite veggie omelette hands down. Service is friendly and fast, top-notch.

Food was average and the service was terrible. Our waitress was both condescending and forgetful.

We also love the rotation of drinks and foods each month. It gives us a new reason to come back that keeps it fresh and interesting. We know there is a wait to get in at happy hour and dinner time so we check in and walk down to Martony's for a drink and some Golden Tee while we wait to be called. It's 21 and over due to Indiana law and the size of the space. It makes it a special night for just us though and it's also turned into a tradition to bring our older kids for a really fun evening out when they turn 21. I do wish they would bring back the caprese sandwich as a regular item on the menu. It was my favorite as a lunch time option. And I hope they NEVER remove the Dilly Dally Dip because omg it's the best spinach dip we have ever had in our lives.

This comes out in service to customers. The food still is acceptable but the failure to be nice and friendly has made the experience an abject failure. They have lost my confidence and we who go once a week are now done. No more. Consider yourself warned and buyer beware. Lots of good options in Crown Point that will provide good service. There has always been an off odor here but can be overlooked if all else is good.

I and a few other family members were invited by my mother and by the time I walked out, I was wondering why this place wasn't packed wall‑to‑wall every night. Let's start with Monday's AYCE perch -- absolutely outstanding. Lightly breaded, perfectly seasoned, and fried just right. It's the kind of perch that makes you rethink every mediocre fish fry your uncle threw that your family tolerated. If you're a perch person, this is your new weekly ritual. Then came the walleye, WATCH OUT NOW, and honestly, my sister wasn't prepared. She said it was flaky, flavorful, and cooked with the kind of herbs & spices she recognized that said, "Yeah, we know exactly what the hell we're doing." "It's the kind of fish that makes you pause mid‑bite and appreciate life for a second." But the real surprise of the night? The bacon, mushroom, and American cheese hamburger -- unforgettable. This thing deserves its own billboard. Juicy, stacked, and unapologetically delicious. Every bite felt like a small celebration. On top of all that, the place is spotless. I mean impressively clean. Floors, tables, bar area -- everything looked like someone had just finished polishing it. You can tell the staff takes pride in the space. And speaking of the space... Yes, the building once housed a gentleman's club. But now? It's so clean, so friendly, and so well‑run that the only thing dancing is your taste buds. The only thing exotic here is how good the food is. Pivot Lounge has officially earned a spot on my "must return" list. Great food, great service, great atmosphere -- and a glow‑up story worthy of its own documentary.

We went around 530, and the place was busy. It got super busy as dinner time rolled around. We sat at the bar and the greeted by the bartender. We ordered two drinks and two entrees to share. I had the Reyka and the Shrimp Étouffée (featured special). My husband ordered the Bedarra Old Fashioned and the Southern Fried Chicken. Our drinks were phenomenal. The presentation of mine was not what I expected. Loved the aesthetics! The Shrimp Étouffée was not one of our favorites. Shrimp was cooked to perfection but the rice and sauce ok, it was bland. The southern fried chicken was really good. It was flavorful and juicy. Definitely coming back when our daughter plays out there again. Nice place to grab a drink and a quick bite.

When our food arrived, I cut into mine and it was extremely rare--so undercooked that one side of the patty was still pink. My son's burger was cooked correctly, so I know mine clearly wasn't. When our waitress checked on us, I explained the issue, and she politely apologized and took the burger back. A few minutes later, the manager on duty brought the same burger back upstairs, slammed it down, and asked with an attitude, "What is the problem?" I explained that it was undercooked and that I had ordered medium well. She then asked, "What do you want me to do with this?" while just standing there staring at me. After acting irritated, she asked if I wanted a new burger or wanted "this one" recooked. The idea of them recooking a burger I had already cut into and handled felt completely unsanitary. Her attitude throughout the interaction was awful. I declined a replacement, and she huffed that she'd remove it from the bill. Unfortunately, it got even worse. Just minutes later, an earwig crawled out of my friend's salad. We were horrified. We took a picture, caught the bug, and asked another server to get the manager. When she returned, she walked up with her hand on her hip and said, "Now what?" We handed her the napkin with the bug, and instead of apologizing, she opened it right there on the table, let the bug crawl out, scoffed at us, and said, "Fine, I'll take that off the bill too." At that point, my friend was covering her mouth in disgust after realizing she had been eating a salad with a bug in it. Rather than showing concern or professionalism, the manager snapped, "What do you want?! I didn't put the bug in the salad." I have never experienced such unsanitary conditions combined with such shockingly hostile customer service. Mistakes can happen, but the manager's behavior was beyond unacceptable. We left disgusted and will absolutely never return.
