Elite Rooter came out to snake my main line. The plumber did snake it three times but could not unclog the line. He didn't seem too skilled on how to snake a house. There are ways to feel for clogs, stop, rotate, push forward. He didn't seem to know. He didn't fix the problem. I was charged anyway the $79. Then the supervisor came out to try to sell me their hydro jet package which costs either $1500. or $3000 before discounts depending on what you want. I declined. I hired another company the next day. They snaked the line and unclogged it. Problem solved. No expensive hydro jetting needed. The second plumber had more experience and seemed to know how to use the snake machine better. I will never use Elite Rooter again. I could have been out thousands of dollars had I gone with their recommendation! read more

I had been looking for a good reliable plumber to change some faucets and other jobs around the house and finally, I zeroed down on Elite Rooter, after talking to atleast 8-10 different plumbers. Very professional & polite service, starting with Patrice on the phone, who fixed a no obligation appointment for my job for the same day. Augustin, the Tech was very polite and respectful. After understanding the job, he quoted fairly and reasonable. He did a great job with changing the faucets in the bathroom and the kitchen. The job has been done to my satisfaction and very professionally. He also gave some helpful tips to maintain the fixtures. Augustin wrapped up everything nicely, took the trash with him and left the job areas very clean. I have used them on a separate occasion last year to replace sewer lines and have had great experiences every time. I have a Victorian house over 100 years old. The plumbing was backing up in two of my tenant's apartment during the covid 19 pandemic end of March 2020. I called Elite and spoke to Geo who had his crew on site with in 30 minutes. They found the issue of tree roots growing through the main sewer pipe from the house to the street. The pipes are clay and very old so they had to be very careful to run the camera to find the issue. The main sewer line needed to be replaced as the tree roots had broken the pipe and could not be fixed. The sewer connection at the street was at least 9 feet deep. It was amazing to see the deep holes they had to dig to access the line for replace and attach to the new pipe to the city sewer line. It appeared to need at least approximately 40 feet of pipe replacement. Elite did an amazing job of replacing the main clay sewer pipe with a pipe that will keep roots out, adding three clean outs to the line for easy access. They worked with the city while it was raining and over a conference call as the city inspector was working from home, they all work together flawlessly and all the work was approved in a timely manner. my laundry room pipe was clogged. I yelp messaged several companies for a quote, and Elite Rooter replied me right away to schedule an appointment. ( This quick response deserved this one start) Their contractor stopped by and claimed to fix the issue and left me tons of text messages to ask me leave a good review for them. But the laundry room pipe was still clogged !!! I ended up finding someone else to do the work and fix the pipeline. At the mean time, I never received a call or email from their contractor on what they did and why they did not fix the issue but claimed they did. ( When they stopped by, I was not present at the house, but only have my general contractors in the house to open the door for Elite Rooter's technician. I thought they will at least call me to notify me the status of the work but they never did, nor never send me an invoice after. But, they did send me tons of text messages to ask me leave a review! ) After receiving another text message from their owner and asked me to leave a review for them, I decided to call them and asked for an invoice or explanation email for what they performed and why they did not fix the issue but still charged. Kaitlyn claimed that they already emailed the invoice to me ( She mentioned some email id that I have never heard of ). I'm just sharing my experience with you and you'll know what is Elite Rooter. This company took $15k in 2019 for a work and didn't finish the job. We realized their scam in 2023 Nov and had a hard time reaching them since they don't respond or return calls. Finally they agreed on closing the permit that they left unfinished in 2019. Took them a month to schedule inspection appointment, then didn't show up and city fined us and we paid it. The next scheduled inspection appointment, the plumber came without "permit card". Wonder what do they expect the inspector to do without permit card. Not to mention that they haven't checked or touched the work to fix the last failed inspection in 2019. Plumber came unprepared and another failed inspection. Erica was supposed to arrange these but she barely responds our text or calls and didn't follow up the work. After this embarrassing arrangements and inspections and costing us a fortune (money, time, stress) she scheduled a pre-inspection to check the sewer line to not fail again. But no one showed up and she rudely didn't respond her phone and even blocked our phone number. While she dragged us there and made us to wait there for two hours. The next inspection scheduled. The day before that WE texted her to make sure everything is taken care of. Since we had enough experience with her to know that she is not interested in doing her job. Then she rescheduled the appointment for a later time because after a month passed from this permit she hasn't downloaded the permit card from city website yet and she hasn't looked at the inspector's comments to fix. I requested a call from management team and Ashely called me. This was the time I realized how come the employees confidently don't work. I have never seen this type of speaking from a business. She didn't let me say a word and screamed and was very rude and disrespectful and said don't call us again and hung up. BTW, they say 2:30 pm on Monday is after hour and blame all their scam and rudeness on us to contact them at 2:30 pm on a Monday! They never compensated us for the city fee they cost us. read more

Contacted Elite on yelp for a quote. Super responsive. Schedule an appointment, they said they would have a technician call me to provide an eta. They didn't give me a time frame on when to expect the call, but I didn't get a call from a technician. 30 mins later, they called me and hung up, I called back. They also for my information, I gave them my name, they pulled up the information and said my address was incorrect. I provided my address on the yelp message service. I'm unsure how that would have been entered incorrectly on their end. As I was on the phone, I told them I'd like to cancel my consultation for a free estimate because they are already 30 mins late and i dont know how much longer it'll take them. This is beyond expectation! Called for a clogging clean-out service for my kitchen drain as I usually do every year (old pipe). Came on the same day (A plus). Giovanni was amazing. Professional service and manner. He snaked my pipe and noticed something wrong with mud at around 22FT +/-. He called his manger, and wait for me for an hour. His manager came, and they did a video snake survey for free. Through their surveying snake machine (another snake with a video camera on the snake head), I saw the problem where the clogging is located. Giovanni and his manager identified the more serious problem and provided options to fix. Should I ask another company for this service (as I did in the past few years), the plumber will just come, snake one time and leave. Elite is highly recommended with quality service, value. I called them for a clogged kitchen sink. Zac tried snaking the line but said he was getting resistance and couldn't get the snake any farther. So he went under the house and said the 20ft drain pipe needed replacement. He called his division manager, Gabriel Robles to come to the house. They tried to hit me with a giant quote of $5,888!! I had paid them a down payment of $582 & told them I was VERY uncomfortable with this quote it seems way too much! Gabriel was extremely rude and curt with me. I felt bullied! I tried multiple times to get the price reduced because I knew it was way off. I checked on homewyse.com and the price should have been $1888 on the high side. I called several other plumbers & they agreed that's a crazy price! Once I told them I spoke with other companies then they said ok how about $3000? I cancelled! And they kept my down payment of $582!! What they did while here was not worth $582! Adam (an independent) from Good Guys Plumbing came over and replaced the pipe for $1200. Saw their Ads on google for unclog the kitchen drain for $69. Came in 30 minutes later than the scheduled window. Minus 1 star. The technician brought in a 25 ft hand held drain snake. Are you kidding me? Of course it is too small to break through the grease. This is the first time a snake does work. Wasted $69. I was also advised to do a hydrojet which cost over $2000. Had to call another plumber to solve the problem. New plumber solved the problem in 10 minutes with a heavy duty drain snake. read more

She said oh they aren't supposed to come til 1-3pm now, hours go by and no one. Finally called back to say they were delayed, won't be til 3-5pm. Ok. The guys get to my house at 4;55pn. I told them about the project and they said they needed to call their supervisor for a quote. 5 minutes later they give me a quote of $1850!!!! What? Are you serious? This is ridiculous! I had a backed up toilet downstairs right around Thanksgiving time. I've send messages on Yelp, and Elite Rooter was the 1st to respond, followed by 3 others. Due to the urgency, we asked Elite to come out 1st. It turned out that they had to come out twice. 1st time, the A. technician tried to snake it. Didn't work. He then took out the toilet and snake it again. Seemed to have unstuck the flow but still slow. Got his check and left and promised to come back the next morning to continue look at the slow drain. However, the same night, we run the washer, and that caused a major backing up in the same toilet. A very unpleasant experience to clean up. 2nd time, at the promised time, A. didn't show up. I called the office. After a few phone calls back and forth, they promised a technician would come in the afternoon. A. showed up again in the afternoon. Tried snake again, still no improvement. He then called in a senior guy, E. to use their camera to see if they can locate the problem. They could not pin point the issue. Just that the overall condition of the sewer pipes are in bad shape, suggested to replace all the sewer pipes, and provided a quote. So, in the end, they did not locate and fix the exact problem. Elite Rooter caused damage to a new brick paver walkway that they had no concern to protect from the weight of their 7000 lb exicator, the cost and work to repair the walkway was $1,200. Elite did acknowledged that the damage was caused by their negligent crew, and told me that the check was in the mail, however now over 2.5 months always the same excuse. I rarely provide a bad review for a business on yelp since I understand we all make mistakes, but I had to share my experience with Elite Rooter, since it was so bad I felt compelled to let others know. It stared out with my washing machine drainage pipe overflowing, so I reached out Elite Rooter since it seemed like a reputable business with many happy customer reviews. Eddie from Elite Rooter showed up to snake the pipe, but after he snaked the drain the water still overflows. I asked him if it could be a clog in the p trap, he said he's certain that's not the issue. Instead he told me he'll come back another day with another crew to run a camera in the pipe to figure out the issue. He charged me $289 for snaking the pipe even though he did not fix the problem. Next day he came out with Scott to run a camera down the pipe, they told me my sewage pipe is damaged and will cost over $15,000 for the repair. I told them to send me an invoice and I'll think about it. I called another plumber the next day to diagnose the overflowing issue. It turned out to a clogged p trap, and he was able to fix it in an hour. I sent Eddie a photo of the clogged p trap and asked why they weren't able to diagnose and fix the issue. He directed me to talk to his regional manager instead. After some phone calls and emails with the regional manager Annette, she finally sent out a refund check for $289. I deposited the check, but it bounced a few days later due to insufficient fund, and I was charged with a bounced check fee. I contacted Annette again to ask her to send me a cashier's check or venmo/paypal for the refund plus the bounced check fee, since she can't even tell me why the check bounced in the first place, I didn't want to take a chance on another bad check from them. She said they can only reissue me a check, no cashier's check, or other types of digital payment. So I had no choice but wait for the refund check to be reissued. I received the refund check again, but it's only for $289, it did not include $7.50 for the bounced check fee, even though I specifically asked them to include that additional amount. I had to contact them again to ask for another check for $7.50. Through out this whole process, there was no explanation why they weren't able to fix my overflowing pipe, nor explanation on the bounce check. It took me multiple emails and phone calls over a month to get my money back. I would not recommend anyone doing business with this company. read more

I told him many times that the drain worked perfectly until a month ago and all I want is for it to get working again like it did for months. We had just finished a remodel, and suddenly, our toilets started clogging up in a massive way. We've had a history of issues with plumbing, and so I chalked it up to just another one of those episodes. Erick Zavala came out, and he was professional, detailed (wrote notes and pictures about everything). He spent the better part of the whole morning trying to unclog our pipes going out to the street (that was where the problem was), but no luck. He called in reinforcements, and it became abundantly clear that roots had invaded our line to the point that it needed to be replaced. He called his manager in (Gabe), who ran a camera through our pipes to show us the extent of the damage. Gave us a couple of short-term vs. long term fix options, and advised us appropriately. We went with the long term fix since it was clear this would happen again. Short story is Elite Rooter's technician Erick and his coworkers provide a good service to solve my plumbing issue, and I will recommend Eric and Elite Rooter to anyone who want to have plumbing service. If you want whole story, please keep reading. My kitchen sink is clogged with backed up flow on Sunday morning and grey water is backed up from washer drain pipe and flood my floor too. I failed to fix by myself. So I contacted multi plumbers through Yelp on Sunday night and Elite rooter is the one who can come earliest on next day and with good Yelp reviews. So I made appointment for next day and they send Eric to be my technician. On Monday, Eric arrived within the arrival window they promised. He is very polite and professional, he wears musk all the time and protect the area he is working on and clean up everything where he is working, and give easy understand explanation as well. At first he think it is just a simple pipe snake job , and quote me a flat rate around $80 , which is a fair price. But that snaking does not work, and later he found out by checking my craw space that it is the +50years cast iron pipe causing the issue. The pipe under kitchen is totally rusted and have a big breakdown, and of course, is clogged as well. So he continue checking my whole craw space and find out more problems here and there , like soon to break area, small leaking area, tree root break pipe, due to same type of old cast iron pipe. He called his senior supervisor Gabe and discussed the situation. And their conclusion is it is best to replace all 50y+ old cast iron pipe together, rather than just fix the kitchen section , which in long term will save the total cost. After checking pipe pictures taken from craw space, I was convinced that replace all cast iron pipe with pvc pipe is right thing to do. So Eric start arrange the whole 4-day project for me. Eric and one of his co-worker always arrive on time 9:30am and work hardly whole day under crowded craw space till 5pm. They manage the progress very well, which allows my family could use everything when we are home and also finish job on Thursday as they promised. Everything is tested and running well now, and I don't need to worry my pipe break and cause big mess in near future (let's say 15y later) . The whole project costs about 12K , which seems pricy but considering their work quality and also it is a long term investment, I am happy with the money I spent. At the end, they have life time warranty (transferrable when selling home) , which kind of give you how confidence they are for their work. read more

They responded in minutes (!) and came out that day. Their technician, Albert, ran the snake. My driveway is long so this was a pretty big cleanout. Turned out he found some roots, so this was more than a simple rooter operation (uh oh) and he brought Joe the following morning, with the camera, to look over the line, found a few issues and gave me some options for a better repair (not cheap but they could at least offer a range). In the meantime, it's working. I was expecting an upcharge for all the additional work but no, the coupon price applied. Other than that, the one got sent lacked the experience and wasn't able to fix the kitchen drainage issue and technician manager called me and said hydro-jetting and clean out was needed at a cost of $2,800 I was ready to accept thy so I ended calling Drain Masters, the owner came who appears to be more experienced and was able to fixed the issue at $400 less. He was very, very professional, well dressed, respectful, calm, collected, prompt and knew all the answers. He also pointed out other areas in the bath that looked of concern and sent me estimates of same at the end of service without reminding. He was very clean, neat, organized and fast. Which is a big plus for me as I am a neat freak. You are lucky and well taken cars of if Marcus shows up. I feel they may not be able to come and fix in half hour next time maybe i was just lucky but they were prompt in responding. I was being quoted prices of between $169-$300 from plumbers I was able to reach and this was very discouraging. Then I found Elite Rooter with an advertised special of only $79 to unclog a drain. I was able to make an appointment online and choose the time of the service call. I got a call back to confirm almost immediately and within the hour, Jesus, a senior technician was at my home working on the issue. I could not believe how quickly he was able to come out. He was very professional and solved the issue within a short time. He also ran a test to confirm the drain was unclogged. He even carefully placed protective paper on the floor to keep it clean.
