I stopped in to grab a couple of burgers yesterday and was clearly distracted after just having left the hospital to visit a dear friend. In that distraction, I left my debit card. I went back this morning and the server, Roger, who handed me my order, was there. He not only remembered me AND my order, when I told him I think I left my card there yesterday, he told me he had it. AND he actually asked for my ID to verify it was actually me. (most people don't even ask although it says "see ID" on the back) Cudos to you Roger. Hey Ely's, you have a quality guy there. Keep him and give him a raise!!!! Good food, great service. Very nice place with great friendly service. Our server Mario gave us great advice on food selection. Hash brown was crispy outside and soft and creamy inside. Strawberry cream crepes were delicious. Sweet but not too sweet with nice strawberry sauce. Wet breakfast burrito was very good! Portions are big but not huge, right to feed hangry person. read more

Don't get me wrong I love Ely's. We go often and the food is delicious. Today, we were sat and a girl came to take our order. She didn't write it down, but I assumed she would remember 2 orders. After she put the order in she went over and talked to another guest. She never checked our coffees and another server brought our food. My order was wrong. I had asked for over easy eggs and got scrambled. Asked the gentleman if he would fix my order. He said sure. Left me with the plate and went to place the correct order. The girl returns with an empty plate and tells me to scoop the eggs on to the plate. Then takes the eggs and brings another plate with the correct eggs. I wished they would have taken my whole plate and kept it warm while waiting for the correct eggs. Then about 3/4 the way through breakfast my Dad asks for a refill of coffee. About 5 minutes later she brings it. I could understand if they were extremely busy. But, I think she had 2 tables Anyway, first time I have been disappointed here and hopefully the last. Have eaten here many times. Typically have a good experience. The food is average and decently priced. Went there yesterday and waited about 5 minutes before anybody came to the front. We were asked if we had a reservation and we did not. She wrote down our information and made sure to tell us 3 times that reservations are required. Pretty happy with this place, I believe this location is new and not to many people know about it because I went on a Friday night and it wasn't busy. I liked the food and ended up taking home leftovers. The prices aren't bad and the place looked clean. The only bad part was that it was very quit in the restaurant, they had no music playing so if you are dining alone or not much of a talker, you can hear others conversations. I gave this restaurant a 3 stars only because of the inconsistency, we go here and delivery order and take out order from here but it's a hit or miss situation sometimes it's great we are full and satisfied but sometimes the portions are small and the taste is mediocre. Everyone is really nice but the food is really what counts. They have specials that are very fairly priced and always the same maybe it's a heat um up eat um up situation I don't know but my kids usually choose the specials. Prices fair for most things and high for others just like any other restaurant. Locations ok. They practice distancing as well as wear masks the one thing they do not do is enforce masks for the customers. All in all a definite high 3 rating read more

I've been wanting to go here for awhile now.... finally made it. The menu offers breakfast, burgers and sandwiches. I was greeted right away and was welcomed in. I ordered the BBQ bacon burger and onion rings. It was an early lunch for me. The entire meal was made fresh, including the bacon on the burger. Ok, where do I start. I was with a big group (20 people) so I was expecting longer wait times for food and service. Besides us, there was only one other table in the restaurant, with two more filling in throughout the evening. But that should not have had any impact on us. Our server didn't take any drink orders, she only took them with our food orders after we sat waiting for about 30 mins for service. After drink and food orders went in, it was about another 25 mins before we got our drinks. I was having water and asked for a refill. I seriously have no idea what the server was doing. She didn't check on us much at all, and once our food came and I had eaten, I was still waiting on a simple glass of water. How difficult is it to refill water. I know we were a big group, but she was not the only server and by this time there were only 3 other tables in the whole place! Now onto the food. I ordered a Chicken Caesar salad. What I got is something a 3 year old could throw together. It was cut lettuce (and badly cut large pieces) caesar dressing on the side (I didn't ask for it on the side) and 4 tiny pieces of rock hard chicken. That's it. No croutons, no cheese, no lemon wedge, no garlic bread. It was $12.99 for that. The steak and eggs my friend ordered was horrible. She couldn't cut into the steak. And they shorted her an egg. About 15 mins after I finished my salad, I finally got a water refill. But oh wait, it doesn't stop here. We got our separate bills, there was an automatic gratuity, which I was sort of expecting, being a large group. Some of us paid with credit cards, some cash. The server took one bill at a time with the payment, walked to the cash register, put the payment through then came back to get the next one. This process took forever! I waited about 40 mins to pay my bill. All in all, I arrived at the restaurant at 6:40, I left as soon as I was able to pay my bill at 9:35. Almost 3 hours to get food ordered, eat and be able to pay for it. And horrible food at that. I do not recommend this place, ever! read more

This is become my new favorite breakfast place in Henderson, Nevada. All the people there are so friendly and helpful and the breakfast specials between Monday through Friday are so affordable. The portions are big, the food is fresh, and I always love their fruit in place of hash Browns. So fresh and a big portion.
