Always professional and they all have a plethora of knowledge. Quality craftsman in all they do to…read moreyour bike. I appreciate the smaller shops as they really know how to treat their customers. Quality work, good prices and keep you up on progress. They have become my go to shop for all my repairs.

From my experience they don't really listen to your problems or just don't care…read more I had them press rear bearings for me and when they did they seated them incorrectly, costing me over $1000 having my wheel hub replaced as well as the 2 lyndall sprocket it chewed up in the process. My fault cause I brought them the bearings apparently. when all that it needed was a rotor spacer $4 part. Not sure how with all the experience in the building that couldn't be deduced... their response was " as long as the rotors not rubbing it's fine" it wasn't anymore cause they pressed the bearings incorrectly.... Still my fault cause I supplied the bearings.... Then they put in a 1250 kit on my sportster in which every gasket leaked atleast twice and I was given some grief at the fact that I wanted a bike that didn't leak from the owner and push back. On top of that I'd been chasing a noise they refused to actually pay attention to and just gave me the run around every time I dropped it off. only to find out doing my own due diligence the bolts they removed to install the kit aren't torqued to spec. I wasn't charged for any of the additional gaskets needed however for the one job my bike saw their shop atleast 5 times that summer, not counting the time I had to re drop it off cause they didn't complete the service I requested. I originally had a better review posted but I'm still leaking oil from my base gasket on the rear cylinder and I'm having to go through my bike and make sure bolts on the drive train are actually tight and I'm constantly wondering what care was taken re building my rocker box's and the other internal parts if I have bolts on the outside loose. Shops beautiful, summers nice. Other than that my experience wasn't great and as it's known for being performance driven I expected to be taken care of much better and I shouldn't have ever even had any push back to having my bike fixed properly.

TL;DR - sold a tire that went flat the next day. they stripped the bolts and claimed it wasn't them…read morewhen we went back to repair. We needed a whole new hub. Tire ended up exploding because we were sold a bad tire. Total cost for us $1100 to repair the issue they caused. I've been coming to J & R Tire since before they've moved to this location and I've recommended them to everyone I know. The owner is very friendly, however we were completely screwed by them recently and it ended up being very costly for us. 6 months ago my husband went there for a nail in the tire. They said the integrity of the tire was compromised so we bought a used tire from them. We got home, parked in our garage and the following morning the tire is completely flat. Rim to the ground. We call J&R Tire and they said to come in and they'll put another used one. Tire has been fine since October until we got another nail into the tire. It was right in the middle of the tire so the walls weren't compromised. We brought it back in and the owner said they can't get the bolts off, the threads are stripped and to take it back to whoever last touched the tire. They were the ONLY ones to touch the tire. The owner claimed it wasn't them and that their guys don't do that, but it was. It's absolutely ridiculous to be adults and have a "yes you did! No we didn't" argument. They refused our car and even said they don't do 17mm bolts. After back and forth arguing, we left. So we took it to another place and was told the bolts were stripped so bad, they need to drill it out and a new hub needs to be purchased. $950. We've called 4 different places for a quote, $950 was the cheapest we could find. I call J&R multiple times to complain and he keeps saying it's not his issue. He swears up and down he doesn't remember servicing our car. I believe he knows how costly this issue will be and refused to acknowledge his shop was responsible. On our way to the tire place, the whole tire just blows up. As we roll it into the shop, the technician there informs us that we were sold a very bad tire. A tire shouldn't explode from a nail especially based on the location of the nail. Our $40 nail fix is now $950 + $175 for a new tire. If you care about your car, do not go to this place. We made the mistake of trying to save $$ by getting a used tire and it ended up costing $1100.
