Went there based on directions from Google for the closest pizzeria to Route 9. What a find!!! Best pizza in the area and is my go to spot.

Not the best, but good for the price. I got sausage and mushroom. The sausage had some good flavor and was not too greasy. Mushrooms were moist and nice. The crust, sauce, cheese could have been better, but also could have been worse. Delivery was about 10 minutes past the estimated time, but when I got the pizza it was still hot so that's good. read more

Very very rude employees that answer the phone. They hang up on you they are very disrespectful. Within the last month they have messed up my order 5 times also the delivery man dropped my food. Why i keep ordering is because the food is soooo good. But, if the rudeness from the employees from the phone keep going they will loose a customer. I am not surprised that Emiliano's Pizza has been rated to have the best pizza in the Hudson Valley several times. My family and I have been going here for years and it is always excellent! The owners (who are brothers) are very friendly and appreciate customers' business. Their prices are very reasonable too, and you get what you pay for. They give you a very hearty pizza. The dough is on the thicker side, but very tasty. It's also never greasy. They also give many coupons and deals! I recommend going here, you won't be disappointed! read more

Prior to today's encounter with the owner of this establishment, they use to accommodate my order of wings x crispy with a dry rub of garlic, salt and pepper. I have had that order made for me at least 20 times prior to today and I order it today and it comes plain with no rub, which they have gotten me accustomed to. I call and the owner gets on the phone and tells me they never did that before. So you would think the young lady that took my order would let me know, or at least call me back and tell me that they do not do that anymore. He the owner gets on the phone and tells me that they NEVER have done that before, so it is one of two things his employees are doing it behind his back and they DO NOT COMMUNICATE that or he does not have a clue on what's going on in his own Restuarant. I am so disappointed because I will not go there again, mathematics I order from them at least 3 to 6 times a month with a minimum order being $25.00 minimum to $87.00 max an order that comes out to $85.00 to $170.00 dollars a month, not the brightest lightbulb in the bunch! read more

We LOVE Emiliano's Pizza! It's a family favorite and has been for a long time. When we lived locally it was a weekly favorite and now every time we come home we make a point of stopping in for lunch or dinner. They go out of their way to make their customers happy- the owner always stops to see if there's anything we need and the waitresses are attentive and helpful. It's a great place for an inexpensive meal with very generous portion sizes. I've never regretted a meal I've bought here and their menu has many delicious options! The food is pretty good depending on what you order. Pizza is tasty probably best in the area. Ordered ziti with sausage and it was watery and no flavor whatsoever . My main issue is with the ordering and delivery service. Every single time that I've ordered from there the woman on phone is extremely rude!!! I am always pleasant when I call but this lady just seems like she's having a bad day all the time. I recently called to order some dinner for my child and I. I ordered a buffalo chicken salad and simply asked her what was in the salad ( tomatoes ,peppers, cucumbers ? Etc) her response ever so rudely is "Uhhh there's salad in the salad" . I'm giving 3 stars because the owners are super nice, but canned mushrooms on a pizza is a real turn-off. I usually ask, but I figured Italians wouldn't use them. oops! I'm super happy with Emiliano's every time we order from there. My boyfriend and I moved to Poughkeepsie in January (2017) and within these 6 months, we've tried about 4 pizza places in the area and Emiliano's is the one we've stuck with. I usually order it for delivery because my boyfriend works a lot and works very late and I don't have my own car-so on nights where he's having a late night and I just don't feel like cooking, I call Emiliano's up and order a pie. On their delivery service: It's always on time. Making the order is very swift and takes less than a minute, and they've never gotten my address or order wrong. They usually tell me 45 minutes but most of the time the pizza comes within 30 minutes. Like I mentioned, they never make mistakes with my order or forget any items on the order which is great and highly impressive when many places these days do. The people they use for delivery are always very friendly. With every order they give me a copy of the menu which has about 6 coupons attached to the middle, 3 for $2 off a large pie and 3 for a free delivery. Also, they have stamps on the pizza boxes and once you accumulate 12, you can get a free plain pie for pickup only, but still worth it since many pizza places don't offer that kind of deal; I've only encountered one other pizza place that does that. On their food: To be truthful, we haven't tried TOO much off of the menu. We've tried the plain pizza, pepperoni pizza, baked ziti meal, garlic bread, garlic break w/ cheese, house salad, and French fries. So far the only disappointing item was the French fries but my expectations weren't high because they specialize in pizza, not fast food/American cuisine. They showed up soggy and I needed to add a ton of salt to give them a flavor. But like I said, I was not expecting much being that they're not supposed to be a burger joint. The pizza is always great though. I have a sensitive stomach and certain pizzas have caused issues for me if the cheese is fake or if there is a lot of grease. The cheese tastes 100% real- always very melted and never a solidified slab of questionable mozzarella like soooo many other pizza places have. I never have to blot grease off of their pizza which I really appreciate. After I eat their pizza I don't feel like my stomach has been hit with a brick, so it's definitely a great place if you have a sensitive stomach when it comes to pizza. The baked ziti is good, I would give it an 8/10. Ive had better from more expensive pizza places but for the price it is worth it. Large portion so there's always leftovers, too. Garlic breads and salad was good for a pizza joint. My boyfriend and I plan on trying some of the subs they have and other dinners they serve in the near future. I can always depend on Emiliano's for good service and trustworthy pizza. Definitely glad we found a pizza place we can truly rely on in the area! read more

I think they make some of the tastiest and freshest pizzas in the Hudson Valley. It's family owned and they're super friendly, welcoming, and involved with their business. They like meeting customers and being involved with the community. The restaurant is located near the Poughkeepsie train station, walkable to/from, about 10 mins walk.
