I just went here for the first time. I don't live in Poughkeepsie but everyone once in a while I'm down at the train station. From now on I'm arriving early so I can take a pit stop at Emiliano's. I got a slice of the white pizza with ricotta on top. Extraordinary. The ricotta smeared on top is just a hint of sweetness with the perfect texture. I ordered a chicken ceaser salad and it was 80% dressing! I wanted to eat a salad instead I got a plate of dressing with a sprinkling of lettuce. Do request dressing on the side unless you want to eat a jar of mayonnaise based ceaser stuff. The slice I got was ok though. read more

Went here on a recommendation from a co-worker who used to live up that way. I was up for the day so I figured I'd stop in and try some. I specifically asked if they make their own dressing, and they said yes, so I said great. Exclamation I'd love a balsamic vinaigrette on the side. Emiliano's brings me back to when I was a kid in the 70's. They serve great pizza probably the best in Dutchess county. They serve big slices with plenty of toppings. The setting is cozy and they always have young ladies that bring you your slice. You can get out of here with two always fresh slices and a drink for less than seven dollars which is a bargain. That brings up another point many pizzerias may have good pizza but you will never know because they insist on serving slices that have been sitting around for hours that never happens at Emiliano's. read more

On our way to Hyde Park for the FDR Museum, a short walk from the train station, Emiliano's was the kind of pizza I grew up with in Brooklyn. My wife had a vegetarian pizza for her half, I had the plain cheese. We both loved it. We'd never been to Poughkeepsie before, but if we ever go back, we know where to eat. read more

Two thumbs way up! The food? Forgetaboutit!! The best! I live in NYC and took my gf out for a one day getaway, stopped here to check it out and it was the best experience! Frank Sinatra playing in the background. Food on the menu was super cheap compared to the city and the interior decor was top notch! The owner even offered us a ride to the front gate to the Hudson pedestrian walkway since he was headed in that direction. The staff was great and made sure we were okay. Hospitality was awesome! They obviously do not care about customer service, I asked for buffalo wings and the girl asked if I wanted hot or mild, IT IS NOT NORMAL TO MIX BBQ SAUCE AND BUFFALO SAUCE TO MAKE MILD BUFFALO SAUCE. I didn't have such a good pizza since I used to live in the Bronx, in Riverdale but the Bronx. Queens has terrible pizza so believe it or not this is better than any pizza I had in Queens, NY. I ordered a Large Emiliano's Deluxe for $18 and some change with tax and in case u want to know what's on that : cheese, pepperoni,sausage, bacon,red pepper, green pepper, yellow pepper, onions, mushrooms and a smidgen of red sauce. I could have done without bacon but man, this pizza is heaven. It was so large than poor chaps couldn't even fit it in the box, they had to fold a slice In order to be able too. Being Saturday, dinner time, It took 60 minutes for the delivery.They sounded busy when I placed the order at 6:25 PM so it's understandable. The delivery gentleman was nice and of an optimistic nature, thank you dear sir. To conclude my review, I give Emiliano's Deluxe pizza 10 stars. If ur in a pizza mood, and not a vegetarian,this is it. I didn't try the rest of their menu but as soon as I try something else I will update. read more

I think Emiliano's is the best pizza in Poughkeepsie. Crispy, chewy crust, delicious toppings, and very cheap. I think a cheese slice is $1.50. It's a New York / New Jersey style place, so along with their gigantic slices, they they have calzones, pasta, and veal/chicken/eggplant parmesan. Go for the pizza. Great pizza with solid pizza by the slice options, however it's a little too thin right in the middle of the slice, almost like the pizza disappears... The STAR of Emilianos are their subs, specifically their Chicken Cutlet sub, great bread, heavy on the mayo and olive oil. Super delicious and on point. read more

Emiliano's is my favorite pizza place in the Poughkeepsie area. Their boxes state "You've tried the rest... now try the best" is an accurate way of describing the overall taste. If you order by the slice, the slices are HUGE and if you're someone who likes to eat, like me, then two slices will fill you up sufficiently. The owners are three brothers who you'll always find making dough or helping somebody out. I've tried a couple of the pasta dishes, liked baked ravioli or lasagna and they've always been right on. Stay away from the salads though. They're mostly iceberg chunks and not very tasty. read more

Not the best, but good for the price. I got sausage and mushroom. The sausage had some good flavor and was not too greasy. Mushrooms were moist and nice. The crust, sauce, cheese could have been better, but also could have been worse.
