Was not open but I think food from the Ocean Lounge came thru Emily's. Past experience with Emily's has always been poor in service & inconsistent with the food for the price, well they passed it down to Ocean Lounge. Although staff at Ocean Lounge far more pleasant & better service, they charged $69 for 2 fish & chips and "bowl" of clam chowder ($9.99 in styrofoam cup), no room service so had to pick up myself but charged $5 service fee & 10% gratuity. Wife loved the clam chowder but portion far less than what a $10 "bowl" should be, the fish was good, but $69 for this type of takeout, really? Lovely service and great views! I celebrated an early birthday with the Hubbs. Started with clam chowder (just okay!) and a wedge salad (yum!). I got the prime rib dinner and the Hubbs got the ribeye. The fries were especially nice. Both cooked perfectly and big portions. And peach cobbler for dessert! We took lots home for the next day! My sister and I just had one of the finest dining experiences of our lives. Along with the view of the dunes at sunset, our server Matt, was informative, and highly attentive in his service. The food, oh my, the food was so well prepared and presented. The halibut fish & chips was tender and flavorful; and the chicken alfredo was rich and creamy but not overdone, and the chicken cooked perfectly, with the best flavor of alfredo ever. Working in Aberdeen for a few days and decided to treat my employees to a nice dinner. Short drive from Aberdeen is Quinault Beach Resort & Casino. If you're looking for good food along with great service, get to Emily's. The service was excellent. The server, Matt, was always keeping our drinks filled and making recommendations. The crab cakes were delicious. Wasn't sure how the Mango salsa was going to be but it definitely added the perfect touch. As for the Rib Eye, it was cooked a little more than I wanted but was still pretty good. Perfect amount of seasoning was added which mixed perfectly with the garlic mashed potatoes. read more

The service has always been good and all the servers have been friendly. During busier times there is a wait time which has never been an issue for us since we like to gamble. I asked where they came from and was told Texas. Well after doing some research it turns out they serve clams that are frozen and imported from China. So they lied to me. Choose Emily's for 40th anniversary dinner..my dinner seemed to be warmed up from another night. Brussel sprouts so well done I had to peal the burnt layers off! Rice (old), steak good, but so covered with some kind of sauce..icky. My hubby's dinner was (1) piece of fish, dried out fries. The appetizer was 5 shrimps with warm dried out greens. Ordered prime rib with baked potato and veggies. Prime rib was tough and everything arrived cold, so much so that butter would not melt on the potato. Then waited 15 minutes for "apple crisp" which turned out to be slightly cooked apples with toasted oats and almonds sprinkled on top with a scoop of ice cream--not true apple crisp! My wife and I were staying in the hotel and popped into the restaurant for dinner. We are in the worlds longest game of cooties (pandemic) so you never know if you need reservations, if the restaurant is staffed etc. Well they got us right in with no reservation and sat us by the window with a great view. I hate to be this person, but we had one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a restaurant tonight. We made a reservation for 6pm today, for 5 adults and one toddler for my mom's birthday. We get seated, and it's about 10 min later we finally got water, and a drink order taken. Honestly that's not that awful, but it only got worse. It was another 10 minutes before our order was taken, and then another 10 min before we got 3 of our cokes, but not the vodka sprite. After another few minutes we get parts of our food, the two crab orders, and the prime rib and the prawns. Then the vodka sprite comes, and then the kids mac n cheese and the Caesar salad. When she brings the last two meals, we explain to our server that the prime rib, and the potato it comes with and the asparagus were in fact cold. She took my plate back, and they seared the meat, and then brought it back. Cooking the prime rib overcooked, and still not heating up the sides. We also noticed then that the sides on the two crab meals were also cold, and the kids mac n cheese was ice. After she brought back the prime rib, our waitress was not to be seen again until we had gone to speak to the manager about the situation. At which she still doesn't refill the drinks or address the situation at all. The manager comes over, and asks if we wanted to split a dessert. We told him no, and that wasn't really enough as only three bites of the $50 prime rib meal were eaten. The comped the prime rib but refused to help any further, and were very mean and entitled about the situation otherwise, everyone is human and we were not mean, we just wanted a apology or something for the time, as our several hundred dollar meal, for my moms birthday was in fact ruined. The whole situation was just unfortunate, and could have been handled much better by the staff. We go to Emily's everytime we are in town, at least 3-5 times a year. And now will not be returning. The only positive was the water boy/dish runner, who had nothing at all to do with the situation. But he was very apologetic, nice and respectful towards us. The managers were rude, and the waitress wanted nothing to do with us. All we asked for was understanding. Super unfortunate. We went to Ocean Shores for my Sister in Laws 70th Birthday which fell on Thanksgiving day this year. She really wanted to have dinner at Emilys and gamble afterwards First, she needed to make sure they were serving this year. She probably called 8-10 times because IF they weren't serving, we'd need to make other arrangements. No one even knew if they were going to be having a Thanksgiving dinner every time she called... SO, she then sent 3-4 emails asking. NOTHING was ever answered. We decided to chance it and went in later on Thanksgiving Day. When we went to Emily's the first question asked was 'Do you have reservations?" She explained that she'd called and emailed, and no one had an answer. The young women then said very rudely "Did you call yesterday?" She was defensive and rude. Seriously? I've never heard anyone ever talk to a guest that way. There's a way to handle a customer even if you believe they were in the wrong. As things were happening an older lady came up and asked a couple of questions, gave us a beeper, apologized and said, " We may not be able to get you into the main dining room, however we have an overflow area, if that's alright" Which it was. Even though seeing the views would have been nice. Our waitress was wonderful although you could tell she was slammed. The food was very good we had no complaints there. Located inside the Quinault Beach Resort and Casino. I ate here several times while staying at the hotel - it's a convenient choice if you don't feel like driving into the town of Ocean Shores. I had a dinner buffet, breakfast buffet, sit-down dinner and sit-down breakfast. The view of the Pacific Ocean is nice and there is a nice comfortable feel to the seating. All-in-all the food is average. The sit down meals - ordering off the menu - are definitely far better than the buffets. All my food at the breakfast buffet (scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes) were cold and yucky while the exact same items when ordered off the menu were hot and delicious. The dinner buffet was "okay" - the prime rib was average (not great but not bad), the veggies were good, the salad choices were few and uninspired (just a bowl of lettuce with a couple dressing options), and the desserts were plentiful but not memorable. My sit down dinner was much better - perfectly cooked pork chops with a wonderful spicy pineapple chutney, cous cous, and vegetables. The service really varied. The breakfast service was very attentive both times and I had no complaints. The dinner service, however, was rather poor. On the occasion of my "sit-down" dinner, the server had no clue what ingredients were in any of the menu items and had no inclination to go ask the chef. For some reason he did a great vanishing act and was never seen again after taking our orders. Our water glasses were often empty and we had to flag down anyone in sight to get our check. The sit down dinner took a long time to arrive after ordering (maybe 45 minutes) even though it wasn't all that busy. In 4 visits I had a one-star experience, a four star experience, and 2 three-star experiences. Emily's is a great spot to grab lunch or dinner. My husband and I have been coming here for years. Great bread basket served while you wait for your meal....always fresh and tasty. I recommend the steelhead, ahi and halibut. I have had them all (not at one time) and have never been disappointed. Most meals come with soup or salad too! The fish and chips are good too. If your not watching your weight, the seafood fettuccine is yummy, but very rich and likely 1000 calories. The seafood buffet is awesome when offered. Also Emily's sometimes offers all you can eat crab for $29.99. This is good!!! Primer rib is also quit nice. Overall, Emily's have good food and nice atmosphere. Waitstaff is Curtiss and attentive. The overweight woman running the bar in the morning of 8/17 had two people walk away as she chatted with a friend who ordered 10 minutes prior and refused to serve another person and opted to pretend to clean items at the bar. My wife and I are trying out different casino resorts around our state to find the best getaways. If I hadn't received a 100 resort credit redeemable for food or services in the package I purchased I would have felt ripped off. The employees were friendly but it seemed like they all were just not very happy and $89 for a hamburger w/fries, a fish dish and frozen grocery store fried calamari was terribly over priced. We arrived at the restaurant about 20 min to 5pm as instructed when I inquired about reservations earlier. We were promptly seated when we arrived. It wasn't overly busy and there were plenty of empty seating. After a quick review of the menu we ordered fried calamari as an appetizer as we continued to figure out our entrees. As we were deciding they brought water and our iced tea in a 12 oz disposable plastic cup. Really? At $100 for dinner for two your going to serve drinks in disposable cups? . My wife opted for the halibut dish and I opted for the 1/2lb burger. 20 min after we were seated our appetizer was brought out. See the photo, but this was obviously a commercially produced frozen food item. Terribly chewy and definitely not what we expected based on the menu pricing. 47 min after the appetizer arrived we received our dinner. The waitress was apologetic but it was terribly too long of a wait considering 1/3 of the tables were empty. And the people seated next to us who arrived during our appetizer were already served and finishing their meal before ours was even delivered. My wife enjoyed her fish and my hamburger was ok. But I've had much better hamburgers at this $20+ price point. The the food was passable bit we will look for other food options in town during the remainder of our stay. read more

My Husband and I came to Emily's for a romantic date night and it was just that. We sat right by the window facing the ocean, it was so pretty at night. I am a very very picky eater, I don't like most things and don't eat seafood but I figured I'd let my Husband take me to a nice restaurant. There wasn't anything I really wanted (Or liked) so my Husband being the great Husband he is, asked for a Kids menu so I could look on there and see what was on there and if I'd eat it. There were things on there that I'd eat so they let me order off there with no problem at all. The staff was very friendly, our waiter was great, seriously great. Once we were seated a man came by with water, no hello, no smile or anything. Just grabbed our glasses poured and went right off. Waitress never came back to check on us after serving the meals. Just a check at the end. We ordered the fish and chips, this was great- one huge fresh piece of lightly breaded flaky fish brought while still piping hot, my meal on the other hand was the prime rib (smaller portion) they don't list the oz on the menu but it was quite small, very thin. The waitress left it on the counter wayyyy too long before bringing out our food. You could see the sheen on the top, the juices were dry. I was too hungry to wait after hours of clam digging so I didn't complain. It was seasoned well and decently tender. Came with asparagus and carrots.
