I don't know what they put in it, but the flavor was amazing, especially dipped in the ponzu sauce. The ambiance was beautiful, with cherry blossom decorations throughout the restaurant, blossom stickers, and soft pink-toned dim lighting that created a warm and cozy atmosphere. It made the whole dining experience feel even more special. Friendly service, great food, and a wonderful first experience. I'll definitely be back! Too bad I forgot to take a picture, because the presentation of that sushi looks appetizing.

The genki was by far our favorite roll, has both salmon and unagi. The chuck-h roll was second, we didn't realize it had cream cheese. The dragon was a CA roll with spice tuna on top, a pretty basic roll but executed as such. The item they give is nice but look around on the walls and order from there is what I recommend.

The baked salmon and crab roll was excellent and much larger than I expected, which was definitely a pleasant surprise! The chicken udon was flavorful and generously packed with chicken. To top it all off, the takoyaki arrived fresh, hot, and perfectly prepared. The ingredients include: salmon, masago, seaweed, imitation crab, green onion, furikake, fried onions, cucumber and ginger. It's a cute simple poke bowl. The rice was fluffy and the toppings were fresh. I enjoyed the bowl, however, I wished there was a bit more salmon or toppings because the rice was quite a lot. Build Your Own Poke Bowl: These are the following items I chose inside my bowl: - Base: half spring mix and white rice - Protein: salmon and yellowtail - Sauce: sweet ponzu - Toppings: mandarin slices, corn, cucumber, and edamame This was a lot better than the classic salmon poke bowl. I think it was because you get to pick your own sauce. PSA: There is no restroom inside the shop, however, if you ask the staff they will give you a code to a restroom located a short walk away.

The pork in the ramen was very good and the broth was scrumptious-- mildly spicy but flavorful. Good for those who want a touch of spice without any pain. Service: Very good service from everybody in the restaurant. Every person we interacted with was pleasant and polite. Bathrooms: Bathroom was reasonably clean; 2 stalls with floor to ceiling doors. 1 stall with a chair and changing table. Parking: Free in the nearby structure or street parking.

Even the huge combo bento boxes on the weekends were very inexpensive for the amount of Japanese cuisine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The ambiance was perfect for anyone loving sports: especially the Dodgers or basketball. I hope other restaurants can be like Zono Sushi Restaurant in Burbank. From what I could tell, it included a baked crab hand roll, 2 pieces of baked crab sushi, an 8-piece California roll, a soft shell crab roll, and 1 piece of fried soft shell crab. I'm kind of guessing on the exact contents because I couldn't find an actual description on either the menu or the restaurant's website. The soft shell crab was easily the best part of the combo, although that's admittedly a pretty low bar. The hand roll and baked crab pieces were passable. The California roll was more akin to something you'd find in a Ralph's grocery store sushi section than at an actual sushi restaurant. I also had the unfortunate experience of trying the salmon skin roll. The salmon skin may as well have been jerky. It didn't have that light crispness, but was extremely tough and not enjoyable at all. Definitely would pass on that. For basically $30 for this combo, I honestly think you're better off going to an actual sushi restaurant like Aikan. SushiStop is probably fine if you just want quick, cheap sushi, but if you're looking for a meal you'll genuinely enjoy, I'd probably recommend going elsewhere.

I got an order of their rainbow roll, which is supposed to be varieties of fresh fish on top of a California roll. The California roll they put it on was like half the size you would normally get of that roll, and had hardly any rice on it/ the outside of it. One piece of the fish looked and smelled questionable, so I didn't even chance eating it. The ginger isn't even fresh, its in a plastic packet.
