The cookie was moist and flavorful with a nutty aftertaste to it (probably due to the oatmeal flour). Everyone I gave the cookies to thoroughly loved it and it is taking all my human as well as divine willpower not to eat the whole darn bag by myself. If you are looking for a vegan alternative to the standard cookies you find at other bakeries, the original chocolate chip cookie at the Chocolate and the Chip is it! My only complaint is that you cannot order other options at the half a dozen level. I wish I had more choices without committing to the cookie platter.

Personally, I really enjoyed the pork sisig: it was juicy and packed a whole bunch of flavor, especially from the vinegar which canceled out the greasiness. The sausage was surprisingly really good, not too sweet and had a nice garlicky flavor. It'd pair well with a bowl of hot rice and a fried egg in the morning. I got a sample of a soup (can't remember the name), but it had a nice sour taste to it as well (not overly sour though).
