The receptionist told me there is "no availability" (with no customers inside) and to come back after 1 pm. I asked if I could wait in the front until someone was available but she said the only option was to come back at 1 pm. It seems very unprofessional not offering services during business hours without an explanation. Based on my previous experiences (I've been here at least 5 times this year), their services are nice and inexpensive, but don't count on coming for a quick mani during lunch or when you're in a rush since they tend to overpromise. Are there any good nail experiences in this area? Jeez! I came here while on an extended stay for business and while my tech was quite nice and friendly, they were severely understaffed for a Saturday and she was constantly interrupted by the phone and walk-ins. Unfortunately it reflected in her work and my SNS nails were thicker than they should have been,, bumpy & barely lasted a week and a half. I also asked for square round shape and got round instead. I will say that the salon was cleaner than many I've been to, which was nice but they have a music track that is ONE song that plays on a loop. I suppose it's supposed to be relaxing , but there are jarring ads between plays that are strangely stressful. I can't imagine what it's like working there and hearing the same music over and over! I didn't have any other service and although pricing was reasonable for midtown, I'm not sure I'd return unless I have no other option. read more

This place was recommended to me by a couple of people, so I was hoping to have a good experience. I made an appointment and was waiting 30 minutes before someone even saw me. I got dip powder, which typically lasts me a whole month. At the end of my manicure, they had me take a picture of my receipt for a 10-day guarantee. I thought it was weird that this was something they did since dip powder usually doesn't crack or chip. Four days later, one of my nails completely came off. When I went to go back to get it redone since they had a 10-day guarantee, they told me I couldn't come during their busy hours so they wouldn't lose customers. I went in the middle of the day and it took them a whole hour to fix one nail. Three days after that, a different nail chipped and the nail I got redone came off again. I didn't even bother going back even though it was still within my 10-day guarantee range. I have never been to a nail place with such disregard to their customers and to their service. It was my first (and will be my last visit). I made an appointment for 3PM for a gel manicure last week. I was told by a friend that this place was great also offered massages with your manicure. Now not even a week later there are chips and lifting on my nails.. First off, it took them more than an hour to take of my gels because "it's a glitter gel polish". I've had glitter gel polish on many occasions before and never had an issue. Ironically, they have a sign that tells you how long it typically takes to take of gel polish (around 15-25 min) which I understand, but for more than an hour?! I sat down with the first girl, and she gently filed down my nails and began to soak my nails. 15 minutes later, another gentleman took over and continued this process and the gels were still on my nails. He had to reapply the cotton and soak them some more. When he filed down my nails, I felt it become to thin and weak.. I even suggested that at this point they use a machine to take off the rest but he said nothing. Then I realized that I don't see anyone else use a machine that it looks like everyone just uses a nail filer. At this point, it's been over and hour and I wanted to leave. They leave me alone again for some time, and within that hour I see the first girl just sit by the pedicure stations and do nothing. I can't say that the technicians aren't friendly, but they do not talk to you or say anything and leave you alone at the station. So as I wait for the third round, I could feel my fingers prune and sort of sting.. it's 4pm and I had to ask if anyone was going to take care of me? How embarrassing..! A new girl (aka the 3rd person to work on my nails) ended up sitting at the station and using this triangle tool to scrape the little bits of my gel. I hated this part. To say the least, she did a great job applying the gel polish but now my nails are so thin. I had heard many great things about enail and had a great first experience until now - After getting powder on my nails, 3 days later a nail completely broke - I went in for them to fix it and they just simply cut it but don't fix the powder because they assure me it'll be ok. 2 days later, the powder on that nail chips and when I go in to fix it and let them know the color by showing my receipt, the color doesn't match whatsoever. After 4 times of soaking off powder and trying different combinations, the proceed to give me attitude about the color after I insist what it should be. After filing my nail down to basically nothing, my finger starts to bleed. When we finally get to a color close to the real one, they assure me my nails is dry and as I go on to put on my coat it's not dry and now has black fuzz all over it. Love this nail place for a quick dip manicure. I usually book after lunch but before end of day! It's a really good price (32$ cash, 35$ plus tax with card) and SO QUICK. I'd say it takes about 30 minutes max. It lasts about 3 weeks on me. They also are happy to do a 3rd layer of dip so it lasts longer but I find it leaves my nails looking too thick. It's not the cleanest but you get what you pay for. I believe they also take it off for free beforehand if you're getting dip put back on your nails. Did a really great job on my gel manicure and pedicure and have been going back regularly. They have a 10 day policy on gel/sns - if it chips you can come back and they will fix it as long as you took a picture of your receipt with the date and color/brand of the gel. I went back because a few of my nails peeled after 4 days and wanted to see if they would live up to this policy. I asked if I could get my nails fixed and showed them my receipt but they seemed very irritated about it. The woman proceeded to fix my nails but had an attitude the entire time. I was so hopeful about the experience and was sadly disappointed. I came in on a rainy day, no one was in there so I just walked in. They took me immediately and the pedicure was nice. I was hopeful for the manicure. But truthfully, this is probably the worst manicure I have ever received. Even though I was the only customer there, my service felt rushed. We all know this is part of the nail salon experience, but usually you can just ignore the side eye and whispered comments in a language/dialect you don't know. But, this young, unprofessional staff clearly did not give a F. How do I know? I usually go to a salon in queens for SNS powder which is great but didn't have time, so I decided to try this place which was close to work. This place looks cute but that is all. I went on a lunch break thinking that it will take an hour tops to soak off and get new SNS nails. But the soaking off for some reason took forever. And once the tech finally started my nails she seemed confused as to how to start. I also asked for one nail a different color and she forgot so I said forget it since I had limited time. All in all, the process took two and a half hours and she also charged me twice by mistake! So that had to be refunded. As for the nails, they are on too thick and the powder had been chipping and lifting on the bottom just a couple days after getting them done. I went first time for a dipping powder manicure...while I've had several at other salons I decided to give this place a try. The manicurist started the soaking process (no issue) but when it was time to remove the previous (powder) manicure is when the problems started. Since there were more customers in the salon than manicurists available, the person who started my process kept going from table to table (doing five minutes with each customer) just to keep things moving. Then when it came time to remove my old polish the manicurist was replaced by a young man in his early 20's. He filed my nail beds until they were beet red despite me asking him to go easier (I am accustomed to having the old polish removed by machine). He then started cutting my cuticles without any lubricant (water or oil). My nails are filed at an angle and when I pointed it out he became frustrated. The tools looked clean but the nail file was really worn. I know other places charge more but you certainly get what you pay for. Really cheap shoddy service! read more

The lady was pissed about my sister having a gel pedicure on and having to remove it. We came here to get it removed, with a new pedicure and powder manicure, so why is the lady complaining? Worst nail experience I've ever had in the city. My friend and I came in based on a recommendation from a friend for powder. I didn't love any of the powder colors for my manicure, so I ended up choosing a gel color I liked better...which was my first mistake apparently. My nail tech (Emmy?) became visibly frustrated with me that I changed services. I asked to swap my pedicure color and Emmy became more angry with me. When she started on my manicure, she was filing, buffing and clipping my cuticules in such a rushed manor that she accidentally poked me with the trimmer. When I said "Ouch, that really hurt" she began to complain to her coworkers about me. Ultimately, when I decided I'd had enough and would just pay and leave, a manager came over and asked me what was wrong and I said that I was paying $80 to have a pleasant experience with my friend, and all I've received has been hostility and negativity and anger. He asked if there's anything he could do to fix the situation and I said "No I'm very uncomfortable having her do my nails, I'd just like to pay or maybe someone else could do my nails." He said absolutely, they can have someone else help. 20 minutes later, my friend is finished with her services and someone finally comes over to restart on mine. In the meantime, Emmy is still loudly complaining about me to every other nail tech. Finally, my nails are finished by the other tech and I can get the hell out of this place, but then they question my 15% tip. They said it's not enough for 2 people. It wouldn't have had to be divided for 2 people if Emmy had simply been kind from the beginning. I believe 15% is a satisfactory tip for someone that rushed me, poked me, gossiped about me, and provided me nothing but discomfort for an hour that should have been relaxing and enjoyable catch up time with my friend. Do NOT come here. I have never written a review in my life but my experience was so poor that I needed to. I came here for gel extensions and asked for a simple french nail - they messed it up horribly. Every single nail was crooked and it was not a french nail, it looks like a black and white cookie. The manager said to come back the next day and she would fix it - when I did, they let me know the manager left and tried to contact me via phone and text. I have no phone calls or text. They wasted my time and wasted my money. This is the second occasion I had to come back because they also made my nails crooked the first time. Never again. It is cheap for a reason and honestly, nail extensions are $70. Not to mention the manager gave me an inflated price of $83 at first and then when I questioned it and asked for a breakdown, she gave me the correct pricing. He screamed at me in front of everyone and the owner was ok with that. They treat their clients terribly and do not care. They are extremely disrespectful and are mean. Love this place. Such a relaxing environment and the place is very clean. Charging ports at each station for your gadgets, and powder gel manicures are $30. Each time I've gotten a powder gel it lasts up to three weeks - could probably last longer except for the nail growth. They also offer free touch-ups within a week.
