I highly recommend the frozen margarita and the cheese enchiladas with beef sauce. Both were excellent!

Always extremely busy drinks are probably the best thing on the menu. Pretty authentic dining arrangement. Cheese wasn't the greatest don't plan on coming back.

Met friends at Enchiladas Y Mas on Anderson Lane. This restaurant is definitely local with a neighborhood feel... looks like a previous home.. It has typical Tex Mex food...enchiladas, tamales and fajitas. Ironically we all got a different version on the Mexican plate - enchilada, rice and beans. I chose the chicken enchiladas with chili sauce....great taste and right about of food. Also, we received complimentary tortilla chips with two types of salsa. Amy, our server, was very attentive and was deftly managing multiple tables. Ice cold water served...check....meals delivered...check...checks distributed...check! The guests at Enchiladas Y Mas were diverse included families, friends, business people, and individuals. Laid back, take your time to enjoy your meal vibe...

You come here for incredible prices and strong margaritas. Super relaxed and busy Tex Mex food with zero frills. Their Spicy salsa is some of the best around. Street parking behind is the easiest option vs. their tight and crowded lot most times. $8 for 3 crispy beef tacos can't be beat.

Great food friendly staff and great Rita's. Service is great and place is an Austin original.

The food is amazing. Our table ordered some margaritas and sangrias along with enchiladas and fajitas. The food was amazing I live in Missouri and I have never had a fajita that had such great flavors It was a bit of a wait but it went by quickly and was so worth it.

The food was delicious! The chicken enchiladas platter was delicious! Service was good. Emilio, I believe was our server and he was attentive. We will be back. Nice place that reminds me of a small restaurant in Mexico City

Came here with a friend for dinner and I really loved it here! Our server was so nice and gave us good recommendations when we ordered and our food came out quick! I ordered the carne guisada and it was so flavorful and tender. The refried beans are also super good here. My friend got the chicken enchiladas with the verde sauce and sour cream sauce which I tried and the flavor was alright but the chicken was super dry unfortunately. Overall I would definitely recommend this spot! Very Mexican diner kind of vibe and had plenty of seating.

I was craving Mexican food so my partner picked this place. Pulling up, it didn't look very nice in the outside but to my surprise, there was a ton of business inside, so I expected there must've been good reason. The chips and salsa were pretty good, but the enchiladas were standard imo. I was a bit shocked that the rice and beans were extra and cost $3 so I didn't get them which was a mistake. The enchilada con queso was so salty but at least it came with a couple tortillas which I ate with the sauce. I'm giving it 3 stars because it's pretty standard and service was just ok and granted, I'm not a big enchiladas person.

We got to this place at almost 8pm on a Friday. It was packed and wait time was about 45 minutes. There is nothing fancy about it, pretty much the opposite, but it is just like your grandmas house when all the family comes for dinner. It's chaotic, loud, but you know the food will be amazing. I ordered the small queso and it was very good. The chips were crispy, salty and still warm. I had a large frozen margarita and that thing is dangerously good and very strong. For main, I had the beef enchilada that comes with refried beans and rice. The plate comes piping hot from the kitchen, so be careful, but it was amazing. It was well seasoned, not too greasy, and the portion was huge. I'll definitely be back.

Friendly and welcoming, and decent Tex Mex food served piping hot. We were recommended this spot by locals, and weren't disappointed. Queso dip was amazing!! Very busy on a Friday lunchtime.

Austin is known for Tex-Mex because of places like this one! Enchiladas y Mas is in an inconspicuous location and is always busy beyond belief. The food and drinks are both great with tons of menu options available. Their red salsa is also one of my favorite! Be sure to grab a margarita as well because your meal wouldn't be complete without it. This local restaurant is the perfect place to fulfill your Tex-Mex cravings!

This place is our go to place for enchiladas and margaritas. We got here at 8:15 (they close at nine) and it's still a happening place. The crowd is getting younger on us at this place but it's a refreshing atmosphere. A tip for you seniors like me, look at the child's menu. We are included and it's a great value for the money. The salsa was extremely HOT and delicious tonight. I got a beef enchilada with rice and beans that was absolutely delicious. The kids meal is an excellent choice for those of us that don't eat as much. I also had a frozen margarita no salt that is a potent as ever. Ismael is the best!! He's always there when you need something.

Didn't realize I would get tiny reheated frozen meatballs. For $7 I'd rather get 2-3 decent sized homemade ones. The side of hummus was literally a small ramekin that salad dressing usually comes in and was $1.50. The flavor was decent but a little chunky compared to what I'm used to elsewhere. The cheesy garlic bread was pretty good. I feel like it could improve with packaging that doesn't steam it during transport though (wrapped in sandwich paper and then foil). Perhaps a box or styrofoam container that can vent would help it be less chewy and retain some crispness? The marinara has good flavor but was super watery, not sure if that's the usual since this is my first time having Cheba Hut. I'll likely try this place again but a sandwich next time, since other people's pics looks yummy.

After saying "we need to go there" at least 30 times, we finally went there and boyyy howdy it did not disappoint! The Cuban and club were 10/10 perfect! The parking is shared and gets packed in the evening or you have to pay to park if you are unable to find anything in the lot or on the street. Handsome Dans has a sign directing you to the back where they are located. The vibe is true to a bait shop/diner it's casual with a rustic feel, they have a large covered patio adjacent to Stargazer bar. I highly suggest sitting outside if possible because the inside does get a bit claustrophobic and smokey when it's packed and they are smashing paninis on the press with no proper kitchen overhead vents. The type of greasy smoke you get when you are making super buttery sandwiches on a hot press. The sandwiches are ok but not something I would go out of my way to have ,our kids liked the hotdogs and Frito pies which were also kind of "upper class" gas station quality. Most of the stuff here is food that probably tastes way better after drinking several beers. It's like any normal sandwich you could make at home and toss in a panini press to be honest. Really good beers on tap and friendly staff who seemed to disappear to the back quite a bit and came back confused. They didn't know if they had already given me my food because I was ordering and paying for extra food after more people in our party arrived. They literally saw my food I already had on the table from my previous order and thought they gave me double of what I ordered hahaha. I can't make a judgment because I have no clue what they kept dispersing to the back for but can just say the confusion was real, LOL. All together if I had to come back it be because someone I knew wanted to try it. Otherwise for me it's a one and done. I got the pictures I stood next to a sign ,I had the Signiture sandwiches, now I'm moving on. I can say I've been there done that. I'm guessing that a college crowd or just being a single person who just wants to be amongst people that this is the type of lowkey place to go if you're not into the typical Longhorn hangouts. You stop in ,have some beers, eat a low budget ingredient expensive panini sandwich and chill till you have to call yourself a Waymo cause the beer is good and strong.
