Unless you are on expense account avoid this place. Juice and a kind bar cost me $20.33. I couldn't even pay in cash! This is at take away place. Plus I had to key in my cc number into the machine while a whole line of people waited.

Never seen such a overpriced place before! One breakfast burrito is ~$25 O_O It was 8 am in the morning, wasn't too crowded (5-6 people), but the person at the counter didn't even bother to greet or smile. I guess that's why we are paying the 6% "Concessions Recovery Fee".

Waited to be seated. Has a bar. Much needed for an almost 4 hr delayed flight. Meatballs were really good. Staff was friendly and quick service.

It's true! The reviews are true. Tried this place before we boarded. Service was good. Quality of food was not good tasted like store bought food and the prices very high for what you get, the beer was cold and they do carry Space dust. very cool decorations.

Really great Cobb salad from the airport? Yes.

You know, when I think about airport food, I imagine soggy 22 dollar turkey sandwiches, wilted salads and fast food. I don't eat fast food. However, I was very pleasantly surprised by Engine Co. No 28. I was watching the World Series at the bar (Go Dodgers!) and I ordered a Cobb Salad to go. I took it onto the plane to eat after takeoff. The salad was VERY good. Crisp greens, fresh avocado, crumbly blue cheese, fresh tomatoes, perfectly cooked egg and tender chicken. It tasted like it was freshly made and I ate every last bit. I will order this salad again and again. Was it 23 dollars? Yes, but worth every penny to have a somewhat healthy meal. A. 8.5/10

One place I come to every time I come to the airport is engine code number 28. I get Sabrina in the mornings. She's very friendly and puts the sweet they can make sugar. I ordered a pizza the cheesecake if I could order the whole thing I would've but then I wouldn't have fit on the airplane. This is delicious!! If you're gonna come here in the morning, you gotta get a breakfast burrito. I've had that six times but if you come in the afternoon you've got to go for the burger either way if you get Sabrina you'll know she's incredibly good the rest of the staff he was really good too. I highly recommend them.

I decided to try this airport restaurant..The bartender was friendly and told me it was owned by a lawyer from the OJ trial. I decided to have a tomato bisque to whet my buds...it was a nice place to rest at the airport..Tom Petty was playing hahah

Exactly what you need before a flight! Croissant breakfast sandwich and a strong mimosa. Home fries are seasoned well. Sabrina is a great bartender. You need hot sauce, salt and pep... great mimosa, or made to order Bloody Mary? She's got you covered. No premade mixes. All made to order! Clean location and a lot less packed than all the other restaurants at the United Terminal.

Very slow service. Wouldn't recommend if you're between flights. The food was tasteless and expensive. I had a baja salad w/ chicken ($30 with tax) all for the grilled chicken to be cold and unseasoned. Even the salad itself was flavorless... I've never had to throw a bunch of salt and pepper on a salad in my life. Should've gone elsewhere

Just a sad effort for food. This restaurant only exists because any sad person that has to come to the 80s gates at LAX is literally stuck with only this place for food. It's a prison restaurant. Or be faced with walking back to the other side of the airport. The service was rough. They were Nice people but I had to go get my own napkins and utensils. Then ask for them again after I ordered more food. The fish was super greasy and the batter was soggy. Clearly frozen and barely fried right. Fries were just warm. Tomato bisque was tiny. But tasted ok. Brussel sprouts were maybe the best item. Do yourself a favor and eat before you come to this part of the terminal.

The space is small but thoughtfully curated -- part boutique wine shop, part cozy tasting room. You can tell they really put intention behind their selection, with wines from all over (and even some organic/vegan-friendly options if that's your thing). I love that you can grab a glass, do a flight, or just browse and take a bottle home. The rotating wine list keeps things interesting, so it doesn't feel like the same experience every time. The vibe is super relaxed and unpretentious -- definitely the kind of place where you can show up whether you know your wines or just want to sip something cute and call it a day. Bonus points for being able to bring in food from nearby spots since they keep it simple with snacks. Overall, it's giving neighborhood favorite energy. Perfect for a casual date, catch-up with friends, or a solo "I deserve a glass of wine" moment.

I went thru the back door. It's a small boutique wine shop. The restroom is clean and to your right as soon as you enter. A water station to your left. They have several tables and a bar to sit at. Pictures on the wall complimenting the vibe. Everything was clean. The shop is beautiful in its own way. The music wasn't loud, it was just right. It's definitely a welcoming atmosphere. I let the host know that I was there for the wine tasting and he immediately set me up with a menu and a table. I decided on the "shareable flights". I then chose 2 white and 2 red wines. Didn't have a preference so I went with his recommendations or suggestions and allowed him to choose lol. The individuals who were there last night were mostly locals. Had the pleasure of meeting an older couple (Erin and Conrad Stanley) in which I ended up giving my last flight to them while we had an awesome conversation lol. Everyone was friendly and real cool. Not making me feel out of place nor uncomfortable. I also met another couple after they left. I went to the restroom, came back and a couple was standing near my table. So into his conversation, dude sat down then apologized for sitting at my table and I told him it's all good haha. Next thing you know we're all laughing and conversing haha. I really enjoyed my 3 hrs here. I had a great experience. Took a cross word puzzle for my entertainment and ended up meeting some new wonderful people instead. I will definitely be back. No food but you can order from "Olive It" which is next door. I'm bringing my charcuterie board next time tho. They make you feel like you're at home. The service was hospitable. I also had the pleasure of seeing the owners and interacting with the wife as she cleaned the tables and made her rounds checking up on all of the guests. The husband was doing his part also, entertaining at the bar lol and providing whatever services needed. I love it... They do their best to provide professional and friendly service. I have no complaints whatsoever. I was even told they allow dogs. Big win !!! lol
