Came by months ago with my pup. They were nice enough to let us stay so that I can eat my bacon & egg sandwich. The strawberry milk slushy was so good. Most came in for takeout orders, not so much dined in. Interior sparsely decorated. Service was friendly. Located on Powell and Broadway, near the Broadway tunnel.

The Mango Pomelo Sago Yogurt Smoothie was quite very good. They also offer other fresh fruit smoothies, rice & yogurt drinks, coffees & expressos. The breakfast sausage egg wrap and unagi bagel were satisfying and filling. You can self order at the kiosk or at the counter. Enter the Cafe is located at the corner of Broadway and Powell as you head east of the Robert C. Levy Tunnel.

Note: Parking is going to be hard to get around area Service: to order you can either visit the cashier or use a kiosk. The kiosk is pretty well designed and easy to read and navigate. We had to a wait a little for our food but we do not mind since this cafe is run by a few people. We greatly appreciate the workers offering us water and thanking us for waiting. I ordered the B.L.T bagel with egg. It was delicious. My GF got the lox bagel. It was really tasty and enjoyed every bite. Overall, pretty good assortment of bagel sandwich options. The ambiance of the place is more of a mom and pop shop but the seat areas are clean. Will come back to try other items on the menu, especially the açaí bowls and drinks.

Ordered my Blueberry smoothie! I like this small business in our neighborhood. They have more than coffee drinks and smoothies. They have breakfast items and lunch items that they have during the day. The service is quick and efficient. One person takes and makes your order. Ambiance is clean and casual. So I was a little puzzled when I entered and looked at the menu since it was different than the photos I had browsed online. For example, we specifically came for the moffles (mochi waffles), but there was none of that on the menu. The other interesting items pictured on the yelp page like the ube crossaint, salted duck yolk custard crossaints etc from Baker Doe's are not served anymore. Check out Baker Doe's facebook website on Fridays at 1:30 pm for where they will be each weekend-- thanks for the hot tip Cherylynn!!) They still do offer some yummy breakfast items: breakfast wraps, breakfast sandwiches, purple rice yogurts, espresso drinks. They offer the full array yogurt drinks from Yomi Yogurt. There is currently no seating available, and it seemed most people ordered ahead (uber eats, doordash, grub huh) for pick-up which was wise, since it did take a while on a sunday morning. We had the Avocado Egg PoP which is a breakfast sandwich with thick brioche toast. The portion was generous, and the egg was soft scrambled goodness. The toast was soft, but a little dry and didn't taste super fresh. We also had the Wake Up Breakfast sandwich which comes with bacon. The hamburger style bun for this one tasted a bit fresher. I bought a red bean yogurt for my kiddos. I can never get into these no matter what I flavor I try.. but the kids gulp it up! Overall yummy breakfast sandwiches, order ahead!

*WAIT TIME- arrive with a party of 2 on a late Saturday afternoon around 5:30 pm. Did not have to wait in line and food as well as drinks came out fast. *AMBIANCE- although there are a lot of windows, it still had more of quiet/dark/sleepy vibes. Worked out for me though because I was working on my laptop and it was super chill. Free WIFI! *QUALITY- great! Unagi musubi hit the spot and loved how it was less than $10 for a pair. Bagel was toasted perfectly- not too soft, not too crunchy. I was feeling adventurous with Melon Avo yogurt smoothie, which turned to have an interesting aftertaste- the quality of drink was still good but would deff try a different flavor next time. Love the variety of options they have- smoothies, coffee, and food. *CUSTOMER SERVICE- good! Friendly and patient with questions I asked regarding the menu. *RESTROOM- 1 gender neutral *OUTDOOR SEATING- n/a *PARKING- no private lot available. Metered street parking only. Located right in the very corner of a daily busy street, so parking won't typically be super fast or easy to find.

This café is a lil expensive in comparison to other nearby cafes; however, At Enter the Cafe clerk speaks English, All the food is carefully made & served w a . I can order breakfast meals all day. And the drinks are SO INVENTIVE!!- Today I got a peach slushy! and Double sausage breakfast sandwich. From the seats, I can watch the scene go by, I can hear it, but I don't get stressed cuz I'm not outside. Thank you, Enter the Cafe!- I am a HAPPY REPEAT Customer!!

This is a cute corner Cafe that serves interesting drinks. Its definitely a family owned cafe because you can see their kids playing games and one doing homework, that's always the sign of a family business! Now to the drink! I had the 'Straw to my Berry' yogurt drink. It was sooo good! 10/10 I loved the strawberry flavor with ACTUAL strawberry pieces in it with every sip, definitely would get again. It took a bit to get out but it's being made fresh so I can't really complain on that front. I would recommend people who like yogurt drinks to come here and try it out! *There is also delivery available and there is indoor seating to eat and drink! They accept CCs, tap to pay and cash!

Convenience brought me here on a Tuesday mid-afternoon. I was waiting for a friend while at an appointment and became thirsty on a late June weekday afternoon. Parked on Powell and Vallejo, there weren't many choices in getting a bottle of water much less a drink. I walked to the corner of Broadway and looked at their sign in the window. I opened the door to find two tables and their menu laid out on top. I ordered the passion fruit mango iced tea (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=1slLew8YkmVVgSti4Wqvug&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q), requesting 30% sweetness (my norm). There were two employees working, the barista and the cashier/order taker. There were a few other guys at a table inside who could be fellow workers or the owners so I went back outside to wait. About seven minutes later, the cashier waved me in and I grabbed my drink. By the time I reached my car, as my photo shows, half of my drink was gone. I remember this being a snack place that offered breakfast items and pastries too but I guess there was an ownership and theme change along the way. I need to study their menu more thoroughly next time before coming in since this was a spur of the moment thing. The business name is obviously a play on that famous martial artist who's memory has been brought to light in the past month. Just happy to rehydrate with the lack of options in the area. Just don't expect a boutique tea experience like those popular places throughout the Bay Area.

my friend and i went here for the last breakfast on our vacation and we seriously loved it! my friend even said "if i lived here i'd eat here all the time." the food was fresh and well made, and the spicy mayo was just a kiss of spice, not hot at all, and very creamy. their coffee was expertly made, as i'm sitting here writing this my friend just said "that was a really good coffee i'm still thinking about it" the server was also very sweet and friendly! the shop is a little hard to find because they don't have "enter the cafe" branding, so it's best to just go by the address. but it's a cute little corner cafe, well decorated and clean but very small so exercise caution if you're a larger group. if you're visiting sanfran i highly recommend this place esp if you need a quick breakfast or drink between excursions!

I think I found a new favorite beverage! These yogurt smoothies are soo addicting! We ordered one mango, and one mango pomelo sago. Definitely go for the sago, the texture and flavor was soo good. The smoked salmon toast was also great, really fresh ingredients and beautiful presentation. They also included a cute little fruit cup! This place was a little pricey but definitely so worth it. Also take out only at the moment

This place had some very good drinks available. Although, I enjoyed the iced coffee, there was plenty of flavorful drinks on the menu. This place is only take out. There is no place to sit inside .They also have some very delicious desserts.

Thanks for the thoughtful reply. I tried a second matcha latte and it was definitely better. It tasted still a bit sweet so I'm not sure if the milk had sugar in it. You could try heating the milk to a lower temperature, too, as matcha doesn't to be as hot as coffee, etc. read more

I'm visiting SF and saw "mochi waffles" so I had to check it out. I was not disappointed. The texture is chewy like mochi, but crisp on the outside like a waffle. I also got a scoop of their ginger jaggery ice cream and a matcha latte, which was everything I could hope for in a caffeinated beverage. My recommendation? Get it over ice. If you live in San Francisco and haven't been to Enter The Cafe, I don't know what your doing. This is one of the best hole in the wall breakfast/dessert places I have been to. I visited San Francisco for three days and I discovered this place on Instagram. They are known for their filled croissants that one of the pastry chefs makes there. But that's not all the yumminess they have on the menu. If you have been one of those people to walk in for a croissant and didn't stay to try their breakfast sandwiches or their lattes, you are missing out! I don't even pursue breakfast on a daily basis, but for this sandwich Ive been contemplating moving to San Francisco. It's such a simple sandwich made with cheddar cheese, over medium egg, crispy bacon, and brioche bread but it can cure anything from a hangover to just a bad day. And if you aren't in the mood for breakfast, no matter! They have hot waffles topped with icecream! These waffles are crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. I'm still trying to figure out how they did that! Please next time you see this place, WALK IN! read more

So very sad an excellent cafe like this is closing. Like its predecessors who also went down inside of a short time period, it was essentially a matter of ineffective location. Lousy feng shui aside (next to a roaring, constantly nerve jangling of ch'i Broadway Tunnel ), tourists are not drawn to that spot and neither are local Chinatown people who are hardly into 'with it' contemporary bites and eats. Ordered from grub hub and I can not recommend more! AMAZING SERVICE! They didn't have boba for my tea and they called me to explain, and then included a matcha waffle as repayment! My boyfriend and I ordered a matcha moffle with green tea ice cream and a churro moffle with lychee ice cream. Both of us were disappointed by the moffle - it was very thick and chewy (not from the mochi, but the batter.) It was almost like eating very stale bread. Aqua Dessert Lounge has a better version of the moffle - it's light and crispy, and also chewy from the mochi. read more

I love this place! It is bright and airy inside, and there are many good food options. I've tried the mochi waffles and Baker Doe croissants, which are both really tasty. I live up the street from Enter the Cafe and often drop by for a quick matcha latte'. I've also enjoyed their breakfast sandwiches, mochi waffles and, when possible on Saturday I make it a point to stop by early to get one of the Baker Doe's croissants - I grab them on my way to the gym so I don't feel too guilty. This morning I had the Valentine's Day Matcha Croissant and last week I had the New Year's Duck Yolk Croissant. Yes, you do need to come early to get the special croissants because they sell out. I haven't had anything there that wasn't tasty and the staff is delightful. It's nice to have them in the neighborhood. read more

This is the worst place to go. Their milk tea tasted horrible. It tasted like rotten soy milk mixed with lots of water. The waffle tasted like raw dough, the middle seemed uncooked. They call the waffle a moffle (Mochi and waffle) but it didn't even come with any mochi. What a letdown. It was not worth it. Never going back!!! read more

This is a very nice cafe with an interesting theme and creatively painted walls. I decided to go and try some of their food. The moment I walked in, I saw their croissants and they looked really good. So I decide to buy some and they did not disappoint me. I also ordered a smoothie to go along with my pastries. Seems like they have some interesting items on their menu such as moffles and lots of sandwich options. So I might stop by again and try some of their other food. Excellent place to work, get coffee, and snacks. Intelligentsia coffee, cold brews and milk teas. Waffles and local SF Ice cream flavors. Great spot on Broadway and Powell at the edge of chinatown and little Italy to get work done (outlets and solid WiFi) or just grab a quick pick-me-up. Owners are super chill locals creating a cafe for the neighborhood. read more

Diamond in the rough! Incredible ice cream with super friendly staff. Got two scoops, coconut on top of ube, which was a GENEROUS serving, and both are absolutely delicious! I came here on the weekends with my friend. We wanted to find a relaxing place to eat and this was the perfect place. The staff there was super friendly and gave us suggestions on what to get. I ordered a latte and a waffle. The latte was super cute and the waffle was really crispy and delicious. It has the perfect sweetness and texture. We happened to stumble onto this place because our daughter wanted boba and we ended up a pumpkin cheesecake ice cream on top of a Moche Churro Waffle and oh my gosh, this was so delicious!!! It was one of the yummiest desserts that I've had EVER!!! The staff was so nice and they encourage you to try out every ice cream! Next time we are in San Fran, we will be back!!! read more

WHERE TO START. Everything here is amazing, and their croissants are extravagant to say the least. I will say though, the Matcha Moffle is hands down the best thing on the menu. If you don't get this, well, you should go back. The cispyness of the waffle and mochi in the middle was so perfect *insert drool*. It was breakfast, but I obviously still got it with ice cream. The Macapuno ice cream is also rave worthy, and they are happy to let you try as many flavors as you'd like. My next favorite item was the matcha croissant with red bean paste in the middle, DELICIOUS. Couldn't decide which flavors of croissants so I decided to try a plethora. Coconut pandan was yummy as well as the ube! I also got the pomegranate mint, because curiosity. I'll be honest didn't love that one, kind of a strange combo. Anywho, loved this place and will definitely be returning to get my matcha moffle fix. You guys are awesome :) read more

It's a small cafe, there is really nothing more about the place that I could possibly say. Their chef was on a vacation so didn't get to try the croissant. I had the churro moffle with ice cream. The moffle or waffle had nothing churro about it and was unimpressive. The shining glory was Mitchell's ice cream. But I'd prefer to have Mitchell's Ice cream at Mitchell's rather than paying almost double the price to have it with an average waffle. read more

I love Enter a the Cafe. I'm a tea drinker mainly and they always very yummy and satisfying ice teas. Great pastries in the morning. My favorite has to be the Mochi Waffles. Current favorite is the chocolate chip Mochi waffle with ice cream. What's not to love, this place is awesome and the owners are some of the nicest people I've ever met. We're very lucky to have this place in the neighborhood. I'll be a regular, for sure. read more

Went here for dessert and got the matcha moffle (mochi waffle). There was only one person working so it took a while for our order to come. The cafe's decor feels modern and comfy! The moffle wasn't sweet, but the texture was amazing!! Crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. I would recommend getting ice cream or whipped cream on top of the matcha moffle if you are more on the sweet side (like me). When I went, there wasn't whipped cream, but it was fine because it was pretty good. Will definitely come back sometime soon. read more

Great cute place that's up and coming in Chinatown. Friendly staff really liven things up. Mochi waffles are delicious and the coffee offerings are nothing to scoff at. But the thing that wins me over the most is that the owners are locals (and my neighbours) right here in the neighbourhood, who are genuinely interested in tweaking things and taking feedback to be as friendly as possible to their customers and the local community! read more

I'm so glad to have stumbled upon this place while visiting Chinatown with my girlfriend. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a sweet aroma. One of the owners was extremely helpful, and offered tons of free ice cream samples. The ice cream is delectable, with flavors like Thai tea, lychee, and espresso. A great destination spot for foodies. Food and service here are exceptional. Their Thai coconut mango sticky rice ice cream is my new obsession. Pastries were wonderfully light and crisp. Everything we had (Thai coconut mango sticky rice, cream of the crop (corn) ice cream, almond lemongrass croissant, chestnut cream croissant, wasabi sausage savory pastry, ginger coconut croissant) were incredibly delicious. (Their waffles looked really good too but you can only eat so much in one sitting.) Can't wait to go back and try their other offerings! read more

My first time visiting this new cafe was great! The staff is very friendly and professional, and the coffee was spot on - the perfect mid-afternoon pick-me-up. We will have our soft opening from 8 am to 6pm on January 18, 2020 onwards to prepare our upcoming Grand Opening. We don't expect everything to run 100% smoothly during this first week. We later found out the driver had left the food at the hotel but never told the front desk which room it was for, even though they had all of the delivery information. As a result, our food just sat there until we eventually had to go down and get it ourselves. In the end, I paid for a delivery service that I never actually received. Instead of enjoying the convenience we paid for, we had to track down our own order. Based on this experience, I would not recommend paying for delivery. If you're ordering from this restaurant, save your money and pick it up yourself. I paid for a service, but I did not receive what I paid for. Then to make it worse the breakfast sandwich was just OK. Nothing to write home to mom about. To say the least we will not be ordering her again and would not recommend this restaurant.

My co-worker recommended this place for coffee, but I was distracted by the desserts! I looked at the ice cream, and was tempted to get my usual ube, but switched it up with the Thai tea flavor.
