A driver from Enterprise at this location came to pick me up from the shop and take me back to get a rental car. He was very friendly. The process was very easy and straightforward. The nice girl got me into a rental quick and effortlessly. Don't even think it took 10 mins. And I was driving off the lot in one of their rental cars. Not knowing when my car would be finished it was easy for me to call Enterprise and extend the dates of my rental as needed. When I came to return their car I had the same helpful friendly service. Called again today and spoke to a guy who is adamant that they returned the funds but per my credit card company there is no pending return funds showing on my card. I made a reservation a month in advance for a mini van. Our reservation date came, and lo and behold there was no mini van. What's the purpose of a reservation if you're not going to secure and provide the item? When I approached the management trainee behind the counter, he smiled when I started voicing my concerns, and failed to make eye contact, because his phone was more important. Be careful with Enterprise. I made the mistake of trusting the desk agent when she said she walked around the car and everything looked good. After I turned the car in, they contacted me and said there was damage that looked like there was an attempt to repair it. The pictures they sent showed what looked like a small ding on the edge of the door that could only come from hitting something with it while opening the door. I know I did not do that while I had the car. It seems like they took advantage of the fact that I accepted the desk agents walk around. They are now stealing $1500 from me for the repair. read more

Rented a vehicle from them only for it to have a tire light come on after driving out of the parking lot so I got moved to a secondary vehicle when that engine was started both the tech and myself looked at each other, knowing that the vehicle did not sound right so they moved me into a third vehicle which got 45 minutes outside of town and then needed an oil change then 30 minutes outside of Tonopah started violently shaking and not accelerating so reached out to the branch only to be questioned if I had paid for the roadside assistance which keep in mind has nothing to do with mechanical failure, then was sent to roadside assistance for them to tell me they have nothing they can do for me and to just hang out or if I would like to drive the vehicle to the nearest location, which was either 2 1/2 hours away or three hours away that they could exchange the vehicle for me so I had to drive this vehicle violently shaking the entire rest of the duration of the ride only to arrive at the place where I was supposed to exchange it to be told that they have not had vehicles in over two weeks and don't know why I was sent there. I was then sent to a location 45 minutes away from that one only to be put into a significantly smaller vehicle that barely fit me and my passengers and our luggage for the duration of the trip. Once arriving back in Reno, I was told that I would get a full refund only to wake up the next day to be told that I was only gonna be refunded for half of the trip since they provided me with a vehicle that got me there and back I had to go in person and make a scene to be able to get the rest of my money back, to say they failed this customer is an understatement. This branch is a joke. I have rented from enterprise for years now and this is the first time I've ever had to deal with any issues like this I will never be returning to this location and I may not ever be returning to enterprise. read more

If you want to be wildly inconvenienced before you hit the road - this is the place for you. My first experience at this location was the employee accidentally locking the keys in the car while it was running. I had to wait for them to open the doors and the gas tank was not full. After leaving, I received a text asking if I was completely satisfied and I thought it should go without saying that no, I was not. I responded as such. Upon returning the car, I was once again asked if I was completely satisfied to which I responded, no and recounted the incident and the employee responded "oh yeah I saw that text. I didn't realize you were mad." Fast forward to my most recent experience - I got to the location at 11:00, when my reservation was. I waited nearly 30 minutes to get a car and I was "upgraded due to some shuffling of cars". My car had 3/8 a tank of gas and was filthy - I'm talking fingernail clippings in the front seat, crumbs everywhere. I'm leaving for work so I have to go fill up the tank and get on my way. About 40 minutes outside of Redding, CA in the snow, the check tire light comes on. I have to find a gas station and fill it up. I get the courtesy text: are you completely satisfied? No - and I respond as such. I take the car to Les Schwab the next morning and I'm informed that all of the tires are at the wrong number, 43 when the tires are rated to be at 36. He lets air out of the other three tires and fills up the low one. I get another text, though my other ones have gone unanswered - let us know if there's anything we can do to help! Yeah - you could respond and take responsibility for the the absolute disaster of a car rental you gave me. Luckily I was able to swap the car out at another location. I dropped off the new car and awaited a call from Alyce. I gave my feed back and said the #1 thing they could do is make sure their rental cars have a full tank of gas and #2 do a basic safety check. She tells me "we have over 600 cars, if we had to fill up all of their tanks - we'd be doing it all day". Really? If you have 600 cars, why were we "shuffling" around cars when I arrived and experienced the delay? She gave a hollow apology for my experience and then gave the advice that if I'm in such a hurry - maybe I should arrive early next time.... Nice. I rent several cars per year and have Gold status with Enterprise and this is by far some of the worst customer service I've experienced. I have limited options of where to rent on a Sunday but I will be avoiding this place at all costs in the future. Once again, he was polite and competent and everything went quickly and smoothly. They had some half wit named Glen working there who trapped my daughter in the store and would not let her out. I was headed back in, when the younger and sober coworkers of Glen got him to let my daughter out. I want to give Enterprise 1 star because of that moron Glen, but that would not be fair to all the wonderful people working there that are not drunks or that do not harass little girls. Literally the worst experience ever. I waited 30 minutes and they gave me a filthy car with no gas so I called to tell the manager (who helped me in the first place and I'm sure he knew about this) then after being on hold for 15 minutes he sent me to the airport to get another. The box truck I ended up driving was clean & ran great. Though I was supposed to get a hightop van. Box van was way too big; didn't need that much space. Also, the gas mileage on the box man versus a hightop van was big... Let's say 5-8miles to the gallon. This caused me to have to pay for approximately 183 miles in fuel that I otherwise wouldn't have had to pay (if they gave me the correct van). The gentleman did give me a credit of a quarter of a tank which gave me about 88 miles... I still had to pay for 105 more (@ 10 mph). Money is tight right now, so 45-$50 is big. Their customer service was quite good which is why they are getting 3 stars. read more

My experience with Enterprise in Reno was great! Jason Kellar was perfect. He is a very calm and mellow sales person: no stress from him during this visit. Even though, I already knew what I wanted he suggest to test drive it first. I left enterprise with the car that I wanted, a 2017 Rogue! After my two recent experiences, it was time to write this review. This is only for the Mill St. branch, I have had wonderful experiences at many other branches. I have been coming to this specific branch for many years and always have had positive experiences.....until recently. I had a week rental, when I went to pick up, it took about an hour to get a car. My car needed to be cleaned, I don't like this because they feel rushed and do a crappy job cleaning. In turn, I still needed to do a full wipe down inside when I got the car. When I returned the vehicle, they took the keys and said we can't check it in due to short staff and we'll get to it as soon as we can. After 5 hours of leaving the branch, I received a call from Esther to finalize the cost of the vehicle. She told me she was charging me for not bringing the car back at the same fuel level when I picked it up. I thought to myself, are you seriously nickel and diming me right now? 2 gallons of gas, that was the difference! Do you know how difficult it is to put a tank back to 7/8 full? I have returned countless cars with more gas than I left with, but never received a credit for the extra gas I paid for to refuel the vehicle. It's not the cost of the gas charge that bothers me, it's the nickel and diming that this person did. They need to start rounding up or down accordingly, 2 gallons of gas is just petty. Be aware of this, if you rent from this branch. Esther will make sure to nickel and dime you! A second incident occurred recently and the wait time was about an hour to pick up a rental. The car needed to be cleaned, which took an extensive amount time. When I got the car, it was still really dirty. I had to take it home and do a deep clean and wipe down the entire inside of the vehicle. I didn't want to waste anymore time waiting when I could do the job 100% better. I just don't understand why it's so hard to clean a car thoroughly! A Customer's time is valuable, making them wait to do a poor job, is poor customer service. Vehicles should be ready to go for customers, especially when they make reservations months in advance. Enterprise has this "Complete Clean Pledge" to increase safety measures for customers and employees. Putting a Clorox wipe in the car after cleaning is a joke, what is the point when you can't even clean it properly. After my experiences, this branch is lacking customer service and not upholding this "pledge". Everything starts with management, in my opinion, the excellent service that this branch once had, no longer exists. With the high volume this branch receives, they need to do better with hiring leadership. Coming from a person who has family that works at Enterprise, I know the customer service should be 150% better! If you rent a vehicle from here, be prepared for a long wait, experience horrible customer service, and make sure you have extra cleaning products on hand to clean your vehicle. read more

I told him that one of the tires was losing air and that's how I got it when I picked it up in California. And although I wasn't looking for a discount, he gave me $25 off my invoice. Bianca is an absolute angel. I had a stressful weekend where my vehicle was involved in an accident and my insurance carrier literally dropped the ball in anyway they could. Everything from sending my rental reservation to Las Vegas instead of Reno, to having me play phone tag with their adjuster to try and get it fixed (apparently, only the adjuster could "transfer" the rental over), to literally the adjuster canceling the reservation entirely, leaving me entirely on my own to figure out what to do next. I Uber over to this location from RNO airport, explained the situation and was beyond pleased and satisfied with Bianca. She was exceptionally sweet, compassionate and made me feel like a valued client of Enterprise. She explained my options, helped get me into a car and I was on my way to finally go home after such a traumatic weekend. I hope the management team is aware of what an asset they have in her. Hi, My first visit to the Reno area for work related stuff. Today is only time I have two consecutive days off out here & a serious wrench has been thrown into my plans. This review applies only to THIS Enterprise as I've had only stellar experiences with other locations in other cities & states. Here we go; #1: No pick up from the hotel. #2: Did not accept my debit card-never had that happen at an Enterprise before in several states. #3: $30 uber total after traveling both ways to the hotel. #4: Little to no empathy or apparent will to address my warranted displeasure & inconvenience by staff. #5: Told me my debit was useless but still asked if the address on my DL was real. Why would my address not be real or current? #6: Needed multiple attempts to reach them by phone that morning to request pick-up. It is unfortunate that they would turn their nose up on a Federal healthcare worker visiting the Reno area on official business. I'm a polite & professional college educated military veteran with several years of Federal service. read more

I tried and tried to like Enterprise at Mill St. , but every time I go it seems to progressively get worse in experience. Long story short, got in a rear ended accident, other insurance too liability and hey I mean good thing is it was all covered... (for now). Maybe it's just this branch, but I swear every time I end up going to this branch, it's either... really crappy customer service skills or REALLY crappy customer service. First the lady who picks me up from the body shop seemed kind of nice as she tried making small talk, but the small talk was really awkward as she was very monotoned and gave a really awkward vibe being in the car. Then I get to the actual store, i stand there and this lady and guy look at me not really acknowledge me waiting for them, until the lady finally says "may I help you" in a annoyed way like she didn't want to help me. Really? Alrighty then. Let alone during the process of this, i'm only 22 and 2nd time in a accident and not even 70% sure how renting a car works. The annoyed lady then asks "i need a credit card to put a deposit" and at first i'm confused because I thought the insurance covered it all , so I asked her "what?" And she repeats herself and tells me "so you don't have $1 on your credit card ? I need something." Okay lady way to make me look retarded and like I don't have money. Finally the process is done, and we go to the car, she makes me look for scratches and dents the size of a baseball, (the car did have some scratches and dents just not the size she was looking for) and then she turns on the car and she says : "so theres not really gas, but it's okay we just won't charge you if you bring back with gas" i mean thanks for letting me know I don't have to bring back gas , but never have i've gotten a rental that didn't have even a half a tank. Like did you guys just get the car or? But it's not even the gas though that made me pretty sure this car has been just returned and onto the next, the cup holder had leftover m&ms , the seats were all adjusted weird, the back had some crumbs. But besides it being a just returned car, the car was a hot mess. There is coffee stains all on the passenger side mirror, stains on the passenger side seat and driver seat, when i drove it the first day, i tried to start it again on my way to lunch and it stalled. This wasn't the first experience with this branch that I felt so irritated with customer service and just did not want to be there any longer , but at this point , if I do rent a car from enterprise , i'm just going to make sure it's at either the sparks location or the plumb lane location. Do Not Trust the Enterprise Brand In August 2018, I purchased a 2018 Nissan Frontier 4x4 from salesman Christopher Strong at the Enterprise Lot on 3003 Mill St, Reno, NV 89502. At the time, I was in the middle of a move decided to buy a truck. The Frontier has 26K miles on it, and I purchased the extended warranty. When I test drove the vehicle, it was late in the afternoon, and the windshield was dirty. Consequently, I did not notice the excessive windshield pitting until I was driving towards the sunset a few days after the purchase. At that time, I called Enterprise warranty service to complain about the windshield. The lady told me that even though I had a 30-day return warranty, I was stuck with the pitted windshield. A month later, I took the truck to Walmart for an oil change and tire rotation. The manager told me that the oil was so black, he thought they'd have to run clean oil through the engine first. Also, he did not have a replacement air filter, which he said was very bad. I went to the parts store straight from there to replace it. The air filter was the factory original, and most of it was as black as coal dust. After replacing the filter, I started getting better gas mileage. This pitted windshield has been a thorn, and a few months ago, I called my salesman, Christopher Strong, to complain about the windshield and the maintenance issues. He told me that had I gone to him about the windshield in the first thirty days, he could have fixed it. But now, like the Enterprise warranty rep, he told me I was stuck with it. He also promised that he would contact the Enterprise lot in Las Vegas where the truck came from to get the service history. Christopher never called me back or sent it along. I was abandoned. My mistake was that I trusted the Enterprise brand. Mea culpa. Double dumb-ass on me. They go to great lengths to assure you that they are different, but Enterprise is no more honest than any other used car lot in the universe. If you find a vehicle, you like and a good deal, do not trust the brand name. Check with your auto club for a mechanic to evaluate the vehicle before you sign anything - especially a check. If you get a thumbs up and you like the deal, get it and go burn gas. But never, never, trust the Enterprise brand. read more
