It was easy to schedule with Eos and they had the best pricing. They moved me out of a two bedroom with stairs. They had to move an upright piano as well which cost $100 extra. They recommended 3 movers to me because of the piano. 3 movers was $149/hr for a minimum of 3 hours, $69 truck fee plus the piano fee. They said we will arrive between 1-3. They texted about 30 mins in advance to let me know they'd arrive at 2:45pm which they did on the dot. Three very nice men arrived. Two did not speak English, I think they speak either Cantonese or mandarin. Anyways the one guy that did speak English helped with all the communication stuff and it went smoothly. These guys work like a well oiled machine. They had everything in my place wrapped up in less than an hour. They disassembled my bed frame and they wrapped my mattress carefully and were very cautious with a vintage wood floor lamp. Also, when they went to take my vacuum they noticed that I had done a sloppy job of wrapping the vacuum cord, so he re-wrapped it neatly. I thought that was a nice extra thing that I didn't expect them to do. They were also polite to my dog. They loaded everything into my garage with insanely good precision, like Tetris. They were polite and efficient. They moved about a hundred boxes and tons of furniture in two hours. We paid them for 3 hours (the minimum) and tipped. Would definitely use again. Between NY and SF this was my 5th, and biggest, move during my adult life. EOS Moving was the best moving company I've worked with. We had a large 2 bedroom apartment (1600 sq feet) in SF moving to a house in the east bay, and because of our toddler, were not as prepared as we could have been. Our crew worked HARD for 9 straight hours. I don't think I saw them take a break all day. Every piece of furniture was wrapped, everything was carefully reassembled quickly, nothing was broken. I had both John and his colleague move me yesterday, August 15th. Not only did they get back to me right away, they maintained clear communications with no lag. I booked these guys for two different moves on consecutive weekends. Nothing but excellence. Not a single complaint. The first move I was moving my mom into assisted living. In addition to moving her important stuff into her new place, they offered (for an additional price, of course) to haul all of her junk that wasn't moving to the dump. This really saved me. I had underestimated how large of a job that would be, and it just made my life so much easier. Even when packing up the junk, they noticed and saved an old photo album that was in a closet (I had mistakenly told them everything in the closet could go). The next weekend was my girlfriend and I moving in together. They made stops at each of our apartments to load the truck and then unloaded everything into our new place. The two movers we worked with were fantastic and worked very fast. I was moving locally from a second story walkup apartment - two bedroom plus a garage and storage unit. Parking in the area (near downtown San Mateo) is tricky but we figured it out no problem, they were patient and talked to me (a small female) without arguing/correcting/talking over me. I was just worried about them because they went so hard for so long without a break on a hot, sunny day. Everything expertly wrapped, grouped things and helped pack things we hadn't finished with. Pricing was the best of the quotes I got since I was paying cash and they were transparent (I booked with John) and fair about pricing - please tip them! They deserve it! My one tip to others is to keep requesting wardrobe boxes early on to make sure you get as many as you need, we messed up there and they were inaccessible for the last set of hanging clothes we had.
