I came here for the Hailey Bieber Drink and honestly it was kinda lack luster. But the ingredients are super fresh and the ingredients did blend well together. The person working told us our drink would take around 30 minutes to make, which kinda blew me away since there wasn't a line of people waiting. Brown haired middle aged cashier is very rude. Came here during the busiest hour with my toddler and was trying to get him out of the store as soon as possible. Waited in line and was confused about which register to go to, brown haired cashier rudely said " there's a line" and tried to make me and my toddler wait in the line all over again. She kept insisting and then finally someone else said it's fine. She was rude during the entire checkout process. The layout of this particular location is very hectic for anyone with small kids, and the cashier made me not want to return with my child ever again. I would actually rate this 3.5/5 stars. I was in the area and my friends and I were down to try the famous Hailey Bieber Smoothie (btw Selena all the way! Lol) at the new Erewhon location. It was $18, which is obviously overpriced, but it's Erewhon so what else do you expect. I guess the flavor of the smoothie varies by day since they do use fresh fruits, but I would say it tastes just like a Strawberry Banana Smoothie. The banana flavor was just right and the other stuff added wasn't overpowering either. My friend tried it another time and said her banana flavor was mild--so it just depends. The service was okay, expected, but the wait was a bit long... about 10 minutes for 1 smoothie. There was a line as well. You're better off making your own strawberry banana smoothie, but if you're willing to spend $18, I'd say it's worth a try! read more

I finally got to try out Erewhon after hearing about the Hailey Bieber smoothie for so long. The smoothie itself was quite delicious but I don't think it was worth the $20. Upon walking around you can tell the produce and their products are high quality. Everything here is on the pricier end though. I also loved how clean this establishment is! I always like visiting this Erewhon location! The cashiers and cafe service workers are very friendly, making sure that the transactions and orders come to you as soon as they can manage, even when the lines can extend quite lengthily. The sections are pretty well-defined for you to shop around. My friends and I love the Giselle's Vegan Kitchen bars and smoothies! The hot bar is top notch. You can try up to three samples of almost anything they have. The buffalo cauliflower wasn't that great. Personally I would eat my calories on their other great food. This is the closest Erewhon to LA. It's located within a 3-5 minute walk from The Grove. It's a market I frequent due to its convenient location, with free parking for 60 minutes and two staff members always available, making parking easy. As far as I know, this was the first Erewhon store to open in CA, which might explain why it's relatively larger than others, with a wide range of products neatly displayed. While I dine here often, my interest lies mainly in the health supplement section, which is well-stocked and neatly arranged, mostly with products that have plenty of shelf life left. I've tried food corners in all Erewhon markets nearby, but the offerings at Erewhon Grove stand out as the freshest and most delicious. The chef's special dishes are always delightful, made with fresh and healthy ingredients, leaving a satisfying taste. While it's undoubtedly my favorite store, there's one downside: there's only one restroom, without gender separation, leading to wait times and a slightly less clean environment, so I avoid using it. If this could be improved, it would be a perfect 10/10 store. It's definitely fun to try out but I doubt I'd be coming back anytime soon. The smoothies are good but I just can't justify the prices here. They have a unique selection of artisanal goods and this place was pretty crowded when I visited. It was pretty clean and well kept but at the end of the day, the value isn't quite worth the price so it didn't hit the mark for me. read more

Erewhon is super spacious, everything is always so organized and beautiful. I come here every week for my veggies because they always look incredibly fresh and I also stock up on bulk nuts and seeds. Every now and then I treat myself to their grab and go meals. My absolute favorite is the kombucha on tap; last week a staff member helped me find gluten free bread and the labels throughout the store are really helpful. Some people say it's expensive but honestly, we don't think twice about spending $1,000 on an iphone or $700 on a purse, yet suddenly $50 for something that nourishes our body is "too much"? plus, they support local brands, which is another reason why I keep coming back. read more

I understand the hype. Visited this place to just browse and see what they had but decided to try some stuff from their hot menu since it seemed appetizing and everything was so good! I don't usually like tofu but this tofu was amazing! It had so much flavor and it was very crispy. The Buffalo Cauliflower was very tasty and flavorful and the salmon skewers could've used more seasoning but they were still very good. The spicy raw tuna onigiri was delicious and the tuna was semi flavorful but altogether it was delicious. The service was quick (which i'm sure it's meant to be) and they answered any questions we had. The ambiance of this store was very chill, I loved the big display of flowers as soon as you walk in. We went at 6 pm on a Saturday and it wasn't crowded at all, but still busy. Although I do believe the prices for actual grocery stuff is crazy, I'll be back for the food. read more

Erewhon Market is located one/two block(s) away from The Grove & The Original Farmers Market. It is basically trying to be an upscale version of Whole Foods and this is the very first Erewhon Market location. Currently there are 7 locations in Los Angeles county as of August 2022 with a plan to add Beverly Hills (Aug 31, 2022), Culver City in 2022, and Pasadena in 2023. Parking lot is EXTREMELY small with a 60-minute limit. There's always an option to park at the Grove parking structure & walk here or try the free valet parking. I got REALLY lucky and found one available spot to park. The tonic bar here is quite popular with plenty of customers waiting for their drinks. The bar also offers organic bowls, juices, smoothies, coffees, tea, and baked goods. Hot bar here was slightly underwhelming comparing with hot bar at any Whole Foods. Erewhon Market at this location is not really worth a special visit. Sure they offer some niche products, a take-out window, and non-GMO food, but parking situation was a nightmare and the market felt pretty cramped. I would rather visit any Whole Foods locations for similar experience with easier parking & bigger selection. read more

I have been a loyal member of Erewhon for three years. The food is as everyone else said, ridiculously overpriced, but high-quality and tasty. Aside from their little run in with the health department, I have had no issues here. However, I am relocating, and I had to cancel my membership. When I went to use the points that I had accumulated over the past several months, they told me they were no longer valid because I canceled my membership. I didn't understand this logic since I had earned the points by shopping there and it was my credit to use. They informed me they had changed their policy regarding points a month ago. I was never made aware of this new policy. They were unwilling to budge and wouldn't credit my account for $21.64. Really greedy behavior for a company that's making money handover fist. read more

Went in today and bought a Mary's Organic Chicken. $21, got home and the chicken is spoiled. It smells like sour sulfur and made me sick to my stomach when I opened it.
