We called at 8:00 am and by 8:20 the locksmith was here. He was able to open the pushlock bathroom door within a minute or two and explained that the release mechanism on the lock was broken. One expensive Thanksgiving! We come home early to check on our furbabies only to discover that neither of us brought keys. We left out of our automatically locking door without the code or app. The perfect nightmare scenario. Eric's Locksmith is one of the first to pop up as a 24 hr locksmith and we call and Michael answers (covering for Eric). It's nighttime so we're a little wary as we've never used this type of service before but I'm ready with my pre-dialed 911 and letting all our friends know about the situation. If we're going to be murdered, they can get a head start on the investigation lol. Michael arrives within 30 minutes and swiftly picks the lock (he was able to get a good idea from the photo I sent so that he can give an estimate). The whole thing took less than 10 mins.
