Eric was the best! He is prompt in his response. WAY BETTER pricing than all the other locksmiths. i.e. I locked myself out of my bedroom. All i needed was a little metal piece with a flat end small enough to fit through the keyhole to unlock the door. When I called around everyone was charging $70, $80, AND $90!! Consistent with the other reviews on here, a great experience! My bicycle was locked with a U lock that broke. Eric was on site in about 40 minutes, tried to save the lock, which wasn't salvageable, and cut through the U lock. Eric was careful, thorough, and polite, and got my bike free in about 10 minutes. Lost a key to a file cabinet at work. I called in the morning & they were at my office in about an hour. I told him do whatever it takes to get this open- it doesn't matter if you have to cut this thing in half. It was a challenge but he opened it, leaving almost no damage. What an amazing man! I messaged him for a quote to come key an old lock requiring a skeleton key. I had gotten quotes from others for hundreds for this job. He informed me, I didn't need a locksmith that these old doors all use the same set of keys and I could just buys some at an antique hardware store. Eric is the best! He provided same day service and re-keyed two locks at my new apartment. I requested quotes from a few different companies on Yelp and he was by far the best deal. Don't waste your time like I did because I promise you won't find a better value! He even showed up at the apartment about 15 minutes early (how many of you have been given the 1-2 hour window where the contractor still shows up late!?!). He re-keyed both locks professionally and took the time to test them to make sure I was happy. He suggested only re-keying two of the four locks, which saved me a lot of money and provided sound safety advice on his way out. It's was a cold and rainy night. I was on a emergency call for my company. As I was done with the job at hand I realized I didn't have my truck keys with me. So now it was me who needed an emergency service call. Yup my keys were inside my locked truck. I tried unlocking it my self but I didn't have the right tools for the job. I did have a brief moment where I wanted to smash my window with my Crescent Wrench!! But I didn't. So I get on Yelp and I look for a locksmith. I had a choice of a few but I picked Eric's Locksmith. I called them up told them my problem and they took it from there. They arrivied with in 30min's, got strait to work. Popped open the lock pretty quick and I was in my truck. If you ever get stuck on the west side, give these guys a call. It was $95.00 for the service. Better then $200 or so for a new window. One thing: it's cash olny.
