Was really liking Eriks Deli near my office and started taking lunch meetings there daily, went about 4 times in 1.5 weeks. Good sandwiches. Well, today I felt very unwelcome. I tried to order what I always get there and was told no, only to pick from menu. They do not do any changes anymore. Tried to ask about and just got mumbled at. Man would not give his name or talk to me, just went back to work. My business is not even a block away and I was coming here often with employees but now feel very unwelcome and will look for another spot to make my place. Since I buy lunch for my staff regularly, this is a costly rude person for this business. Hope he is the owner not just working there. Then if he wants to treat customers so rudely its his choice. I got a message from corporate and they gave me a code for a free sandwich. But when I went back to use it, I showed them the code, it didn't work and I had to pay for my sandwich! Not a word from the local store. I think absentee owners that don't give a damn. I got treated very badly here.

Farmer's Market (vegan on sourdough and removing mustard)

I ordered from here via a work lunch delivery service. I had the farmer's market sandwich, made vegan by removing the mustard and swapping the bread. Their ciabatta and sourdough slice are vegan bread options. The sandwich was delicious, well filled and I greatly enjoyed the sourdough bread. Prices are very reasonable.

I want to like this spot for their good sandwich combinations but execution was lacking. Bread was tough to the bite and the foundation of a sandwich heavily relies on the bread. Because of the difficulty, sandwich contents would fall apart before I could actually tear the sandwich. I got the Sea Dog with a brownie on the side. Sea Dog Sandwich with Smoked Bacon - added some bacon cause why not and actually really liked the smoked flavor. The Sea Dog is a classic tuna sandwich and has some avocado for a fatty, creamy enhancement. Contents were great but again, the bread was tough to bite and this meant my sandwich fell apart with each bite with the crust still in tact. Peruvian Chocolate Manifesto Brownie - a fairly large and chocolately brownie but not dense at all so I'm conflicted about how to feel. The chocolate chips were rich but the brownie as a whole was a bit disappointing and almost dry?

Famers market sandwich for delivery-. 2/5 avoid.

Tried Farmers market veggie sandwich- 2/5. ordered for delivery. Ordered wheat bread but got white bread. Didn't have most of the veggies that appeared on Yelp pictures. No flavor, for $10 you are getting a bland salad without dressing between 2 pieces of bread. Avoid.

I'm a sandwich type of guy and love to try many deli places. Erik's Deli is a popular sandwich shop and there's many locations all over the bay area. I ordered the Erik "Berger:" Meat - Smoked ham sandwich with a peppered onion roll with Monterey jack cheese, and Erik's "Secret Goo". Veggies - Slivered red onion, fresh tomato, and locally grown sprouts. All the fresh meat and ingredients made me enjoy every bite. The staff was friendly and the order was ready so quick!

Barely any Turkey on this Rio Grande Club. Scared to see what the other sandwich will look like as it's for someone who works night shift and I won't know until they tell me. For $22 and change on two sandwiches and bags of chips that's ridiculous. Employees are very nice. Not sure if they are being instructed to use less meat, but it's happening and it's disappointing. Definitely not worth the gallon of gas at $6.49 to get there.

You have to place your order before they give you a table to sit at, which I found be more efficient than waiting for a table. I ordered the burrata toast and had the option to switch out my salad with potatoes for $3 more. I opted to try the potatoes since my friend mentioned that they were super flavorful. My friend and I sat down close the the entrance and only waited about 10 mins for our food to come out. The pesto spread on the toast worked well with the burrata and tomato and the potatoes were in fact, super flavorful!! I will definitely come back if I'm in the area!

I explained that it was my first time there and asked what she recommended, but she completely ignored my question. That immediately made the experience feel unwelcoming. After sitting down, I was surprised to realize that everything is basically self-service. If you need forks, knives, napkins, or anything else, you have to get up and get it yourself. When i asked for them the staff looked at me and told me it's over there to grab it. II honestly feel that there should be waiters taking your order once you sit down, or at the very least, the staff should bring basic things like utensils and napkins to your table. The staff, including the cashier, should also be friendly and welcoming, especially to first-time customers. Instead, the employees seemed unhappy and disengaged, which really affected the atmosphere. On top of that, the bathroom was not clean and clearly needed attention. It's unfortunate because the food was actually really good. With friendlier customer service, some basic table service, and more attention to cleanliness, this could have been a much better experience. I honestly left disappointed

I think it's because they also do online orders but it still felt like a while. I got the large Saigon signature sandwich with a salted Vietnamese coffee. The sandwich tasted fine but the meat to bread ratio doesn't feel right. It's too much on the bread which makes the sandwich feel dry. The pate helps balance this out but it still doesn't feel like enough. The sandwich was also colder than I expected. The Saigon Signature does include cold cut meats but I'm typically used to the sandwich itself being warmed up a bit or at least room temp. Overall, the sandwich tasted fine but I would've preferred a softer bread that was a bit warmer with a bit more filling, even just vegetables. I will admit that it is a big sandwich though. But for a sandwich named Saigon Signature, it felt lackluster. Maybe their other sandwiches are an improvement. The coffee was not good. It was watery compared to regular Vietnamese coffee. It also tasted bitter, unsure if it's due to the beans, burning the coffee, or something else. Vietnamese coffee, even when black, has a lot of depth and dimension to it. The salted foam on the top was good though. But in the end, I wouldn't go here for coffee. The shop feels clean and modern although not a lot of seating options. It's a banh mi and coffee shop so more of a grab-and-go type place.

Breads are baked fresh in house and the menu offerings consist of: handcrafted sandwiches, soup, salads, flatbreads, and even has a kid's menu. Purchases: * HAM & TURKEY [on honey wheat bread] * PASTRAMI REUBEN [on sourdough] Sandwiches are made on sourdough bread by default and includes house spread, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mustard, & cheese. Customizations are welcome. Sandwiches were good and very filling. The only complaint on my end was the shredded lettuce that made for messy eating- I would have preferred whole leaves. Honey wheat isn't recommended if you plan on eating your sandwich later- this bread is softer and will become soggy quite quickly. 4 stars. The bread to protein ration is fair, food is tasty, and the staff was kind. I'd say this was a good first experience.

It turns out they moved just to the other side of the parking lot a couple months ago.
