This place is a hidden gem! It's $8 a slice but you really get 2 slices, so come hungry. The street it's located on is close to a bunch of small shops and bakeries in little italy. Highly recommend!

Ate a few slices already. The slices are huge

Amazing pizza exactly what I was looking for. We ordered 4 slices. One slice was two slices basically for a large pizza so 4 slices basically filled the large pizza box. Very limited seating here but just walk a block and go eat at the park. Service was great and very fast.

WOW they call that one slice??? It really is two slices and when it was served I thought I would never finish it but it was so good I at the entire thing! It is a tourist hot spot, and was super crowded but people sat with strangers and everyone was having a great time talking, laughing and eating! Thanks, Ernesto's, for feeding the masses as we walked the Freedom Trail!

I'd be doing a great disservice to not remind Bostonians and inform Visitors where I have believed for years the North End's best pizza slices are to be found.

Boston native and have never stopped in until now. Great pizza and quick line. Pro tip: a "slice" of pizza is actually 2 slices. For an inflationary economy, $6 is not a bad deal at all and I believe it was just recently raised from $4 from the posted Yelp menu pics. They also offer beer and wine for great prices. Not sure it's the "best pizza in the U.S." as they claim but it's pretty darn good.

We were exploring North End and needed a snack for later and decided to stop by and get some slices. We got the eggplant pizza to go and it was good. A good option if you want something and quick and with good flavor.

cheese pizza - technically one slice

Solid pizza in North End! One slice is actually two slices so keep that in mind when ordering. With the big portions, it is a pretty good and delicious deal. I tried the classic cheese pizza and it was enjoyable. The crust was crispy and there was lots of cheese.

2 slices of pepperoni and a pepsi

I stumbled on this hole in the wall pizza place while walking around. I figured a quick slice sounds good right now. Didn't expect much. I am happy i stopped. The sauce and crust were amazing. Its a bit greasy but thats how i like it. Stop on by and get a slice! Oh and i dont know if its a combo or something but when you order a slice and a drink, they give you 2 slices. Amazing! And this place gets crowded so the pizza is always coming out the oven fresh. 10/10 i will be coming again

Ernesto's is always our go to for an affordable and delicious pepperoni pizza! Pizzas are always ready within 10 minutes and the slices are HUGE - for 2 people we always split it into 2 meals haha so you can call it meal prep

Pretty solid place for pizza. I have no idea what I got. I asked for two of their most popular and I don't remember what they gave us but one was pepperoni and one was alfredo based. It comes with two giant slices. It was pretty good. Just wanted to try some Boston pizza. We weren't feeling the alfredo one as much but definitely check them out.

Looks very authentic inside like a restaurant / deli you might find in Firenze. I decided to order the Italian Sub as they make it; no changes. In hindsight, I should've changed a few things I kind of knew I wouldn't like, but wanted to roll with their take on the classic sub. The bread was very fresh and the meats abundant and plentiful! I was not a fan of the balsamic, nor the "hots" (not "hot" so-to-speak, but kind of a marinated sweet pepper, nor am a fan of sweet pickles. Condiments on their sandwich...? Mayonnaise (none), mustard (none). I believe it's only balsamic and EVIO. I ate a half sandwich and was quite full. I honestly threw the other half out. Wasn't my jam. PRO-TIP: Place an order online for pick-up; walk up, go in the second door (to the left) straight to the counter where you pay and pick up your sandwich which will be ready by the time you get there. The restaurant is small and well decorated, with a casual upscale feel. We were quickly seated and ordered our drinks; it seemed right away that our waitress was a bit inattentive, as she walked away just as my mom was trying to ask a question about the menu. I ordered the Nutella Latte (for $8, holy smokes!) and a falafel bowl- both decent, but not outstanding. I wouldn't have paid $8 for the coffee if I had seen the size and nature of what I was getting, and wouldn't order it again. For that price I expected something fancy- it was not that. The falafel was okay- but the portion was small, and I've had better (both in texture and in flavor) many times before. Overall, I wasn't wowed- I found it overpriced for what we got both in food and service. One other item of note - the women's bathroom door didn't lock, yet the lock clicked and seemed as if it had. Imagine my surprise when one of the wait staff popped the door open when I was in there! That should be fixed right away.

For breakfast sandwiches in the city I'm used to Mike & Patty's, though I've been going to Archie's in downtown a lot more lately because I find it just as satisfying while also being much less expensive. I noticed Sunny Girl was somewhere in between in terms of cost. I also noticed how quickly they rose to foodie stardom, so I naturally went in with high expectations and the consideration that perhaps I'd have another quick service breakfast spot option under my belt. I made my way into Sunny Girl on a Wednesday morning before work at about 8:30. The place is very small, but there was a steady flow of people coming in, ordering, waiting a few minutes for their food and going on their merry way. They make it work. There are only a few stools inside for eating in, but they've got a few tables right out front for the nice weather. I ordered the breakfast grilled cheese with avocado added on, as well as an iced coffee. The coffee wasn't really anything to write home about for me, but I was really there for the sandwich. I grabbed my order and sat at one of the tables outside. Upon unwrapping the sandwich, it looked delectable at first glance. It had a decent cheese pull when I picked up the first half. For the first bite or two it seemed like everything inside worked together in harmony; that is until I realized that the bacon wasn't crispy. Not like it was just a little chewy on the ends, but legitimately undercooked on at least one side. To me, not many things are more dissatisfying than biting into gelatinous, underdone bacon. Not sure if this makes me nitpicky, but it kind of ruined the sandwich for me since I ultimately ended up picking about half of the bacon out. If the bacon was crispy or otherwise cooked more evenly, this surely would've been a knockout sandwich and the experience as a whole would've been worth at least four stars for me. Sunny Girl really seems to have a lot going for them; a good location, fresh ingredients, a loyal and ever growing customer base, an overall good concept. I genuinely want to like the place and my hope is that I just happened to catch them on an off day. It might be a little while before I return for another try, but if and when I do, I'll most likely end up trying a different sandwich and will also have to make a point to ask for extra crispy bacon.

I've eaten here before (it's a small area, but does have a lot of seating) but normally I get it as take out. The cafe itself is super casual, it's the perfect place to pop into during lunch or after a walk. My food is always ready on time which is nice, and when I've eaten there I'm usually able to find a seat. The spinach tortellini with the pesto cream sauce is my absolute favorite- it's a HUGE portion and so delicious. It usually lasts me at least 2 meals. The bread they include is also great! I like to dip it in the sauce. The past time I got Dino's I accidentally ordered spinach ravioli instead of tortellini...that was my bad. HOWEVER I think I might have found my new favorite? The raviolis are huge and so fat. I'm talking like 1/2 inch - 3/4 inch thick. There is so much stuffing and the spinach ricotta mix tastes so fresh and delicious...it's a must try. I've also gotten the eggplant parm before, and the fettuccini Alfredo. Both were also delicious. I've never had any of the sandwiches, but if they are anything like their pastas then I'm sure they are great! The bang for your buck here is also great which is nice. Highly recommend! Dinos is awesome! And the staff is very kind too (Note that the pic is taken from a train, I like to treat myself to Dino's before catching the Amtrak)

We were immediately seated and throughout the night, service was excellent. The restaurant space is a little tight so you may overhear your neighbor's conversation but there is a lovely open kitchen in the back where you can watch the chefs work together in symphony. We started with the Spanish octopus ($22) which we loved so much, we ordered a second of, as well as the ricotta stuffed squash blossoms ($19). The octopus was incredibly tender and plump and had a Galician flavor with the potatoes and grilled peppers. The squash blossoms were delicately fried with a light and crispy tempura batter and the tomato marmalade on the bottom provided a nice sweet-tartness to the dish overall. For our entrées, we tried the duck breast ($29), roasted gem clams ($27), pappardelle ($29), and the ravioli doppio ($28), the last of which was my favorite dish of the evening. The duck was well seared and the umami of the mushrooms contrasted with the sweet and tart agrodolce sauce, keeping the overall dish from being too heavy. The gem clams were a tad too savory for my preference, especially with the shavings of bonito flakes. We were given the choice of pairing the clams with bread or pasta and I would definitely recommend going with the latter to help dilute the brininess of the dish. The pappardelle had a lovely al dente chew and the braised lamb shoulder and fava beans lended the dish a very spring-forward vibe, which complimented the ravioli doppio with a duo filling of peas and ricotta, finished in a basil butter sauce. Overall, I really enjoyed my dining experience at Little Sage and I love how in tune the menu is with seasonal produce available. I would love to return to try their other offerings, including the lobster gnocchi which I noticed a lot of tables ordered. The staff was also very accommodating for my tree nut allergy-- the pesto is nut-free and all dishes that do have nuts are used as garnishes and can be removed if desired.
