Stopped in before our flight for a quick meal, and they delivered! The Brussel sprouts are really good, served with chili crisp, peppers & sesame seeds. Loved the chili crisp & they were cooked well. Would've loved a char on them and maybe even the option of a honey drizzle .... Would elevate the dish wonderfully. But still happy with it :) The staff is really nice & they are very aware of people being on time crunches, so they are quick to get to you & quick to get you out if need be. My boyfriend had the burger, and gave it a 7/10 due to lack of sauce on it. They didn't have ranch available so that was a bummer. Unfortunately, this was not a great pick food wise. I got the grilled chicken sandwich and it was not what I thought it would be. Give me anything with bacon and avocado but this just didn't cut it. It was just dry and lacking flavor. The fries were decent but could've used a little more seasoning. I was shook when I asked our server for a side of bbq sauce and ranch and she said they do not have the following condiments as options. I was done after that! Sad to say the host and person who escorted us to our booth were dull, which lived up to other reviews regarding the service. I will say our waiter was a great addition to the visit as she was very nice, informative, and honest. Thank you Kristina! We had some time before our last trip at the airport and were pleasantly surprised with our breakfast at the Esquire Grille. It's not a super fast place and they did ask us at the beginning how long we had before our flight, so plan accordingly. We had a couple of hours so we were just fine. My husband had the steak and eggs and really enjoyed it. I had the avocado toast - it had so much flavor and the poached eggs were perfect. Our server was really friendly and fun and we had a great time chatting with her. The space was clean and it was nice that most of the tables had outlets at them for us travelers. What a great place to wait for boarding! We waited less than 10 minutes to be seated. The host was really good about checking in to see when our boarding was and gave us an estimated wait time! We were very happy that our food came out less than 30 minutes that we were told! Let me just say that the shrimp tacos were SOOOO GOOOD! I want to have some more! Add the avocado, I promise it makes it even better! We also got Niman Ranch Beef Burger--medium well and it was just right and solid burger overall! Great place to grab a bite before or after you fly. Just make sure you give yourself plenty of time - it was approximately 45 minutes from the time we sat down, got our food, headed to the gate. Which was reasonable considering there were four of us and it was a busy morning at the airport. I had the two egg breakfast, scrambled with bacon and toast, my hubby had the avocado bacon omelette and our friend had the avocado toast with a poached egg on top. Ordered the burger with cheese. Burger was great, cooked perfectly, nice soft bun. The cheese itself was extra sharp cheddar which is a surprise on an airport burger and not entirely pleasant. The service was attentive, especially considering how busy they were. My only complaint, and the reason for the 3 stars is I repeatedly saw staff pick things up off the floor or handle dirty dishes and napkins and then handle food orders, drinks, and clean silverware without washing their hands first. My flight was delayed so I thought I'd try this spot in the airport. It was very busy so it seemed like a good spot to check out but the food was okay. For the quality, it seemed over priced but I understand it's in an airport prices might be higher than you average location. Grilled salmon on top of delicata squash and broccolini with a pomegranate relish and everything was perfectly cooked, not too oily, the salmon had a wonderful char. Couldn't have been more perfect. Oddly, the dish is not on the printed menu in front of the entrance. It was only on the online to-go menu. maybe because it's seasonal or a special or something. This kitchen knows how to do veggies.
