Brussel sprouts
Claire J.

Stopped in before our flight for a quick meal, and they delivered! The Brussel sprouts are really good, served with chili crisp, peppers & sesame seeds. Loved the chili crisp & they were cooked well. Would've loved a char on them and maybe even the option of a honey drizzle .... Would elevate the dish wonderfully. But still happy with it :) The staff is really nice & they are very aware of people being on time crunches, so they are quick to get to you & quick to get you out if need be. My boyfriend had the burger, and gave it a 7/10 due to lack of sauce on it. They didn't have ranch available so that was a bummer. It was cooked well though, just needed a bit more flavor and/or sauce! Overall would definitely come back to try more.

Stopped in to grab a bite as me and my sister were waiting for our flight to head home. The place is chill, average restaurant layout, and has good seating in the area. Unfortunately, this was not a great pick food wise. I got the grilled chicken sandwich and it was not what I thought it would be. Give me anything with bacon and avocado but this just didn't cut it. It was just dry and lacking flavor. The fries were decent but could've used a little more seasoning. I was shook when I asked our server for a side of bbq sauce and ranch and she said they do not have the following condiments as options. I was done after that! Sad to say the host and person who escorted us to our booth were dull, which lived up to other reviews regarding the service. I will say our waiter was a great addition to the visit as she was very nice, informative, and honest. Thank you Kristina! All in all, this wouldn't be my first pick for food, maybe I'll stop by next time for a drink instead.

We had some time before our last trip at the airport and were pleasantly surprised with our breakfast at the Esquire Grille. It's not a super fast place and they did ask us at the beginning how long we had before our flight, so plan accordingly. We had a couple of hours so we were just fine. My husband had the steak and eggs and really enjoyed it. I had the avocado toast - it had so much flavor and the poached eggs were perfect. Our server was really friendly and fun and we had a great time chatting with her. It was one of the best airport meals I have probably ever had and we will definitely be back the next time we fly.

For airport food it was good. It atleast looked nice and had decent taste. I enjoyed the banh mi sandwich. The mai tai was okay as well. Can't really knock on it. Food was atleast flavorful and I enjoyed it. Would I recommend? Not really. It's a step above other places. But not enough to recommend.

The best food of many airports I've been to. Excellent service at the bar. I always stop here for libations and food. Very comfortable atmosphere. See you here!

What a great place to wait for boarding! We waited less than 10 minutes to be seated. The host was really good about checking in to see when our boarding was and gave us an estimated wait time! We were very happy that our food came out less than 30 minutes that we were told! Let me just say that the shrimp tacos were SOOOO GOOOD! I want to have some more! Add the avocado, I promise it makes it even better! We also got Niman Ranch Beef Burger--medium well and it was just right and solid burger overall! Highly recommend if you have at least an hour before boarding time! They were busy but people seemed to be having a great time at the bar and with their food! Cute area!

The bar menu! We did not try any cocktails...

Great place to grab a bite before or after you fly. Just make sure you give yourself plenty of time - it was approximately 45 minutes from the time we sat down, got our food, headed to the gate. Which was reasonable considering there were four of us and it was a busy morning at the airport. I had the two egg breakfast, scrambled with bacon and toast, my hubby had the avocado bacon omelette and our friend had the avocado toast with a poached egg on top. We were all very happy with our meals!

Grilled chicken sandwich with fries

One of the only, or might actually be the only sit-in dining restaurant in the Sacramento airport terminal. Serves a selection of American food. Food: Limited set of appetizers, entrees and selection of burgers and sandwiches served with fries or salads Banh mi (with grilled marinated pork) - 4/5- pork was on the saltier side; love the Vietnamese style Grilled chicken sandwich -5/5- excellent tender chicken breast with the nice grilled char marks on an artisan brioche bun Cesar salad - 4/5 - there was an awkward lemon zest to it and the croutons were awkwardly large Fries - good size and portion Guava margarita - 3/5 - the tequila was really strong, I barely tasted any guava flavor at all Ambience: Modern contemporary clean and cozy vibe Service: No complaints

Grilled Chicken Sandwich with Fries

My flight was delayed so I thought I'd try this spot in the airport. It was very busy so it seemed like a good spot to check out but the food was okay. For the quality, it seemed over priced but I understand it's in an airport prices might be higher than you average location. My grilled chicken sandwich was definitely the better of the two and was actually quite good. The fries were about what you'd expect. The Banh Mi sandwich was a bit salty and the Cesar salad had a lime flavor to it which was odd.

Good food, service, opened late, it's our go to spot when we have a late flight. Sit, enjoy some food and drinks before the flight, sit as long as you want.

I come here for all my pre-flight drinks. Most recent visit, Bryan was my server/bartender. It was early but a rather busy morning for him. I ordered the Guava margarita x 2 both were perfection. To also ensure I didn't get too intoxicated pre-flight I also got sourdough toast which took a while, but again they were busy. Because of how slammed they were at that time, there was a little bit of a wait so i had to slam my second drink to make the flight boarding time.

Very limited menu. The pictures you see with the previous reviews aren't accurate. Staff wasn't too friendly either.

I remember from the past that it is hard to find parking, so we decided to go early to avoid the crowd, and that was a great idea because we found a convenient parking spot right up front. Although we were there hours early before the show, we were happy to enjoy great service because there were not yet a lot of people there. Our waiter was full of energy, and we received our delicious tacos quickly and enjoyed just sitting under the umbrella, which shaded us from the sun. I had a ground beef taco, and my husband had the shredded beef taco, and the taste brought back forgotten good times of boating on the river and pulling over to Swabbies on a hot and balmy summer weekend. The tacos were fantastic as always, and I even had a mimosa with them. We were told we could move under the tarp once the concert area was open and closer to the time of the concert, and we even got to sit up front, which we later regretted. There were also large vans providing lots of cool air, which was quite refreshing because I have heat sensitivity. Once the concert started, a large crowd swarmed the area where we were sitting, and multiple times I had to swerve in my chair to avoid being hit by people dancing in front of the stage. I had a couple people also step on my feet unfortunately, which hurt, as I am recovering from foot surgery. That was the worst thing about this event. I wish they could have a barrier or a way of keeping people from being so close to people sitting at the tables. Other than that, we had a great day.

Had to pay extra for those fries, which is fine; but there should be some discount since we didn't get the regular fries. Didn't see any discount.

I love the Chinese donut dipped in my BBH broth. I ordered the premium BBH, which contains ox tail, short rib, and rib eye. I was pleasantly surprised that the ox tail was really tender. Similar establishments typically serve ox tails that are very chewy and non-tender. The broth was nicely balanced with the perfect amount of lemongrass and spice. Service was excellent. Our server was very affable and welcoming. The food came out almost instantly. I am already looking forward to my next visit!

This was a little off putting as that was never the case before Saigon was forced to close a couple years ago due to a kitchen fire. But we didn't let that deter us from ordering and finding out why the restaurant was empty. Their menu is missing a lot. And because of that a couple who just sat down decided to head to their midtown location which has most of those missing dishes. I think this is a huge reason for their lack of crowd. Our favorite honey shrimp dish is no longer available. Neither is their fried rice. My lady and I both had our hearts set on the shrimp. A bit disappointing. We went with their chicken egg rolls, rocket shrimp and garlic noodles with chicken wings. We genuinely loved our food. It came out hot which meant is was super fresh. The egg rolls were stuffed with meat. Bomb! The firecracker shrimp were delicious. The garlic noodles as bomb as I remember. Wings had lots of perfectly cooked chicken on them. It seems like they're specializing in pho and making that the emphasis of their restaurant. Overall this restaurant has changed a lot. Seems like a whole page was missing in their menu. I'd like to see them reintroduce some old favorites as it would help with business. Encouraging people to head to their sister location downtown isn't ideal as people are already there. I'm sure even more money is lost as those people just plan on making another restaurant their destination instead.

But no matter who is with me,one thing I can almost always guarantee is that we are going to get a solid meal at a solid price and always have a great time in a pretty fun environment. Let's talk about this recent visit-the wifey and I were running around and forgot to grab lunch,so we decided to stop by the Chilis in Natomas on Truxel Rd. This restaurant has plenty of parking as it shares a lot with many businesses-so always a breeze. As usual when it's just her and I,we made a beeline for the bar area and found a table. Our server Michael made the visit very memorable as he went above and beyond making sure we were taken care of.He checked on us many times to make sure we had everything we needed,he also explained the current "3 for Me" options to us as well as making sure our Diet Coke and waters stayed filled. As far as food goes,I ended up going with the 3 for Me for $10.99 option that came with their Quarter-Pounder dupe burger along with endless chips and salsa and a Diet Coke. A really incredible deal if you ask me. We also had a couple of beers-A Blue Moon($7.89) and a Michelob Ultra($7.19). The burger ended up coming with a side of fries. I was surprised how solid the burger tasted especially at that price point I must admit though-my favorite part of every Chilis visit no matter what I order,I love the chips and salsa-they always are great-so tasty-the salsa is so good-I'm just glad I haven't figured out a way to take these home or else I'd never leave the couch-love em!! In closing. I'd say this was another successful visit highlighted by the great service from our server Michael, the great value from my 3 for Me and those incredible chips and salsa. I will be back as soon as possible.
