Sushi is fine- lots of rice but not a lot of fish. But the wait is totally a killer. Ate here twice. Once for all you can eat and once for carry out. Be prepared for at least 2 hours to get your food. Once it comes it's solid, but wow does it forever. For carry out- they started to make the order when I walked in at the order pick up time. Thirty minutes later they gave me the food. No update or apology. There are too many amazing sushi places in the area to waster your time on a place that doesn't respect yours. This location offers an All You Can Eat sushi menu during lunch and during dinner. The food is amazing The employees are amazing. Their food and drinks are amazing, delicious and their prices are very reasonable especially the buffet. The establishment is cozy. Bathroom is always kept clean. They even have a bar inside. For warmer weather they have a couple seating outside. The location is good.. a little hidden in the corner in a small shopping center. Located in Mt. Prospect IL.. Ever since my husband and i saw the sign up, we've been waiting for this place to open. There aren't many all you can eat sushi restaurants in our area so was excited to see e sushi. We went on the Sunday after their grand opening. There were 7 of us and we were able to get a table outside. The only downside was that because they were so busy they advised us that we would probably have to wait an hour for our sushi because they were so busy with Togo orders, but they would be able to get us appetizers right away. We didn't mind waiting since we had no other plans. We sat down and got our appetizers pretty quickly and we did have to wait for our sushi but it was pretty spread out from Our appetizers that it didn't seem that long of a wait. Great first visit! There is a huge variety of appetizers/rolls. Some appetizers have a side of tempura veggies, which I didn't eat but will ask them to hold off on as I don't want to waste food again. I had horrid experience visiting this place. An old dude sitting next to me was coughing out his lung and clearly showing possible covid symptoms. Management didn't do anything about it because he is their regular customer. I ended up switching my seat and one of the server came to me and kept telling me the old guy is their regular customer and he does not have covid. Ridiculous how the heck does the server have the ability to diagnose their customer without covid test? Hopefully I didn't catch anything from that senseless old dude. This place was ok. I ordered the hibachi dinner with steak, which is a meal that comes with salad and miso soup. I ordered the crunchy roll and salmon roll for my boyfriend. I liked the grilled steak, it was juicy and thick. It was marinated just right with what tasted like light soy sauce. But for the price, the portion could have been bigger. The salad was ok, the sauce made it taste much better, it was some orange sauce that tasted gingery and salty. The crunchy roll would have tasted good if the crunchy flakes on it were fresh, they tasted old. My boyfriend and I agreed that the ingredients in the rolls did not taste that fresh, but for the price point, it is better than grocery store sushi. I would go back for the hibachi and hope their portion sizes increase. read more

The best spot in Mount Prospect for sushi. I wasn't a big fan of sushi until I came here, everything is delectable and the staff is all friendly and accommodating. I stopped in here today and it was my first time. I went at about 2:45 and it was all you could eat until 3:00 so I had just made it. The all you can eat price was $15.99. I order a spicy tuna roll, dragon roll, volcano roll, crab rangoon, Edamame and the fried pot stickers. First off I didn't like that when the spicy tuna roll came out you could see that they must grind the tuna. It was weird... it totally appeared like it was put through a grinder. Same with the salmon that came in the volcano roll why would you do that? Anyway I went, I ate there I probably won't go again. It was ok but I'll stick to Nikko Sushi in Arlington Hts!! Unfortunately it was closed so I ended up trying this place. I will say the server was super nice. But the grinded fish is just something I cant get over. I should have took photo's, but was distracted by a loud couple in back of me. Staff wore masks which is something I should add as well (ugh) I was not 6 ft apart of the couple in the booth behind me though. Hope they were feeling ok!! read more

I ordered the sushi deluxe for $21. It's supposed to come with 10 pieces of sushi and tuna roll. 2 of the sushi pieces were a 2 inch imitation crab stick placed on sushi rice. Never had I ordered a "deluxe" sushi plate and found such items in the mix. They usually consist of variety of fresh raw fish so this was disappointing. Also there was not enough ginger. Like other reviewers mentioned, was super excited to try this place out and the reviews were so stellar, I had great expectations. The server was very nice, asked if we needed anything, the experience was quite pleasant. We started off with the miso soup, seaweed salad and tempura. Miso soup was good, temperature was just right. Seaweed salad was very fresh and quite nice. Tempura...I don't know if fried foods are their strong point. I had AWESOME fried appetizers at some AYCE sushi places but eSushi..not so much. Some of the tempura was soggy and oily. I mostly got nigiri sushi with a spider roll. Their side sashimi policy is also a disappointment -- you can only get 2 sashimi pieces per ROLL you order. I have never experienced a limit like this before. We usually order at least 2 times (with the sheet of paper menu) but we finished with 1 plate of food each. Why? Cause the RICE! Too much rice!! The pieces of fish was larger than other places but seriously this was way too much rice even for the larger fish. I would've been happy with 3/4 of the rice it had. The rolls were fine though. I would highly recommend just getting rolls here if you don't want to get bombarded with too much rice. The quality of the fish and other ingredients were good, so I was even more disappointed to see a good sushi ruined with too much rice.. read more
