It can be pricey but I think it's worth it for some of the fresh fish in town. The flavors were beautiful and I could not be happier with the food.

He don't take 10% off my gold card but I emailed and they credited it to me. We had a fun time dancing and closed down the club. A little before closing the manager stopped by and ask how we were doing. When I mentioned it was my friend's 30th birthday he graciously gave us complimentary glasses of champagne. This is the second time Sea Monkey has done a little something to make a friend's birthday special which I love and appreciate so we will be back!

On my more recent trip, the service was terrible and the food was delicious but overpriced for what we were served. I think the bartender had friends there the night we visited because she talked to another couple sitting next to us at the bar and largely ignored us except when we flagged her down. We ordered the vegan drumsticks, and were surprised to only get three--they were not very big but one of the most expensive appetizers on the menu. They were really good but I won't pay that much to get them a second time. We were going to order an entree, but it took so long to get the server's attention that we asked for our check and went somewhere else for dinner instead. Then I noticed a discrepancy between the beer price showing on their beer list and what we were charged. I tried to tell another person behind the bar about it and, as it turned out, he was the bar manager and said he doesn't deal with checks and we'd have to talk to the server about it. So rude, especially after we had been neglected by the other server for most of the night.

The hostess and waitress promptly seated us and politely spoke with us. The waitress mentioned the daily specials and explained that the restaurant flies in fish from Japan. The chefs prepared our foods in a reasonable time. Our starters were the Ginger Salad (4 stars, slightly too much ginger dressing but fresh greens and carrots) and the Spicy Tuna Rice Cake (4 stars, my husband commented on the fried rice but liked the tuna, avocado, mayo, and jalapeño). Our main courses were the Spicy Scallop Maki Roll (4 stars) and the Nigiri Plate (4 stars, two pieces each of lean tuna, salmon, hamachi/yellowtail, and added otoro for $54). My dessert was the Matcha Misu (4 stars, tiramisu cream, matcha honey tea, and lady-finger cookie). My husband's impression one year ago was that employees in Bakery Square were initially excited to have a sushi restaurant but then thought that the quality did not quite match the higher price.
