Delicious smash burger! Was yelping burgers in Boise as one does and came upon eureka which looked pretty good. I can confirm it's a very very good burger and very reasonable. Cool bartender gave me some good recs for other bars too.

Love the location, so we will start with that. Came on a Saturday around 1, we were able to reserve an outside table through open table, but they weren't too busy. I would say overall everything was okay. The place itself is nice, indoor and outdoor seating, dog friendly patio, but it was fairly warm (near 90) and they didn't have umbrellas at all the tables, so that was kinda a bummer. We ordered appetizers, but the food and apps came out at the same time. Service was okay, not great, but it wouldn't keep us from going back. The food itself was fine- we got some the "favorites" and thought overall it was okay. Price point is what you'd expect for a trendy foodie spot in downtown. Overall not bad, but not great. If we were in the area, we might go back, but not sure we would seek it out. They had plenty of staff working, so I think maybe if service had been a little better, we would have given a 4/5.

This place was able to accommodate a group of seven guys and was pretty quiet during the early night of Saturday. Our server Rylee it was pretty easy to get along with the order of the menu items and was able to deliver drinks pretty quickly and checked in on us regularly. She was even also able to get all the separate checks as quick as possible when we had an additional eight more people show up.

I loved the vibe! I can't believe haven't reviewed this trendy place. I have been here multiple times and I always have fabulous service and my food is always delicious. I also love that they have indoor/outdoor seating. The decor is very trendy. I'll be here again next week!

This was our first time at Eureka and we came back the next day. This is easily one of my Top 5 burgers of all time. The Black & Blue burger was astounding! Oakley was absolutely delightful showing us a wonderful experience! Her service was outstanding and we went back the very next day to request her to take care of us again. Absolutely check this place out if you want a great burger, wonderful outside ambiance and great staff taking care of you with great hospitality. 10/10 for this burger joint!

American Burger with Mimosa Flight

My husband and I was in the area over the weekend and he wanted me to go here to try out the 28 day-old dry aged patty burger with bone marrow butter. I couldn't say no to that description. When we got to our table, our drinks were quickly taken. When we placed in our order, we were told that they were out of the 28 day old dry aged patty! Oh that was such a disappointment because we both ordered that. We had to place in an American burger option and added in the bone marrow butter on the side. Our mimosa flight was decent, my favorite on the list is the blood orange. The burgers were okay -- I think we were so hyped about the original burger that when the order couldn't be placed, we were a bit sad that we couldn't taste it. The American burger with the bone marrow butter was a bit elevated, but it tasted similar to other burgers I've had. It was good, nonetheless. We were seated at a very intimate and cozy booth. Our hostess was attentive and we will definitely come back in the near future to try out the 28 day dry aged patty burger with bone marrow butter.

Just flew in from PHOENIX Arizona & me and my girlfriend stopped by to grab a quick bite, we have a lovely view, the food was absolutely AMAZING ! I had a double smash burger with beer battered onion rings and my gf had blackened blue burger with Swiss. The best part was the staff. Just wanna S/O TAMMY the GM & our server Tavon! The service and hospitality was on point and made me feel like family. Thank You so much for a beautiful experience l, can't wait to comeback and Destroy another smash burger !

One of my go to spots to catch a sports game! Picture typical bar food but better. With great happy hour deals and plenty of seating with views of their TV's I love bringing friends to Eureka and sharing classics like their nachos. Their cocktail menu is elevated the drinks are delicious, of course they also have classic drinks as well as a full bar, but I highly recommend trying their house specials. The steak Caesar salad is a great go to it was cooked perfectly, the new fried pickles are so fun and delicious definitely a must order. The food comes our fast, Everyone is very attentive but you're not rushed. If you're looking for a casual spot with better than bar food to catch the game check out Eureka!

Original boneless tenders
Deanna L.

Ordered food for delivery. Wanted chicken strips, Mac & cheese balls and fried pickles. I've ordered the strips and fries before and the deis often come undercooked, so I sub in the fried Mac. I revived my order and was super excited to dig in. Pickles and Mac & cheese balls great. Dips fine! The problem.....boneless tenders. They sent the equivalent of frozen toddler chicken nuggets?? What happened to the amazing hand breaded ones? Im posting photos of what I should have had, vs what I got . I won't be supporting this place again. It's a bummer because I took a gamble and lost. Also, yes those tenders are what I received before eating any, and they were supposed to have half plain half bourbon dry rub. Edit to add: I did not order a kids meal. Hand breaded tenders is a regular menu item. I'm adding the photo from the menu.

We are visiting our daughter and grandchildren in Idaho. We went downtown Boise, Idaho because the area is really cute and it's close to the zoo. Eureka restaurant has a really nice decor, the wait staff is very friendly, the food is delicious and reasonably priced.

We saw a young couple get frustrated with how packed it was and left, but what do you expect on a Friday night, this isn't a fast food place. We stuck around and placed our order. Got lucky because they only do Fish Fry's on Fridays! Ordered the prawns and fish, got two order of buffalo wings, Mac and cheese, chipotle wrap, and kids burger. Fish was amazing!! Tasted Fresh! Not frozen! I was really not sure what to expect and faced my fears and ordered it. I can say it was some of the best fried fish I've had no lie. I was super pleased with it! Next time I'll try just the fish and chips in hopes that it comes with one more piece. The prawns were skinny ones and I wasn't too fond of them but the fish the main dish was perfect! Wife and bro-in law got an order of wings each and they were both super happy with them, I snagged 3 and would say top 5 wings I've had. Sister got the chipotle wrap and she said it was really good! Wife also got the mac n cheese with bacon and her and the kids loved it. Kids burger was able to split between two kids and they tore it up along with the mac n cheese! We had a great experience! Plan to circle the block several times if you want to be close. Otherwise plan on parking and walking. When we walked in, 5:30-ish on a Thursday evening the bartender told us to sit wherever we wanted. There were two booths and a couple of other tables available. It took several minutes for anyone else to acknowledge us and bring us menus. When asked, the waitress didn't know what beers were on tap, but did have them all written down. That was helpful. Also seemed to have a good selection of "house" cocktails, which would be fun for happy hour or a game day. Vibe is definitely sports bar on a college campus, but the patrons were not college-aged. As others have commented, great overhead music. While we were there it was 70s classic rock. Now for the food - all great! Hubby gor the finger steaks, and while the breading looked very dark, he said they didn't taste burnt or overcooked. They came with BBQ sauce and an Asian-ish sweet-chili-horseradish sauce. Not cocktail sauce and very weird. I got The Grateful Shed burger with tots. It was delicious! Served on a brioche bun that could not stand up to the burger and how juicy it was. But that's what a fork is for. The candied bacon on it was so good. And the tots! Crispiest I've have in all of the treasure valley! It did take quite a while for the food to come out. I had a good view of the kitchen so I know it wasn't the wait staff. And its never good to see tables that ordered after us get their food before us. That's the only reason for a 4 star rating. If you aren't in a hurry, and maybe don't mind walking for parking, I'd definitely recommend The Shed!

The only hiccup was that they were out of tomatoes, which is a non-negotiable topping for her, so keep that in mind if tomatoes are a must. I went a different route and ordered the beef focaccia. Uniquely layered ribeye and really good. We also shared a Greek salad that was simple but fresh and satisfying. And the french fries with their homemade ketchup? Don't skip em. By coincidence when walking around town I spotted it and had to go try. I'm a sucker for biscuits and gravy and these definitely beat what you would find in a Denny's or IHOP by a landslide on the taste and aesthetic scale! It's super filling since there's so many carbs, but the taters (more like small potato wedges) are actually a clever add-in. They add a slight bit of texture to the mushiness of the gravy-soaked biscuits, and potatoes and gravy are already best friends in terms of food pairings. There's also garnish on top (some sort of greens and cheese) that gives it a nice look and extra flavor. Delicious! I didn't think much of the customer service initially aside from thinking they were super friendly. However, I sat down at one of the tables and took my time eating and people watching. So many people came by the store to talk to the chefs with such familiarity that it felt like this popup was its own restaurant and community. It hasn't reached a point of popularity where it's flooded with people, but the more I look back on the experience, the nicer I feel about it. Even after a lot of time had passed and the staff had already helped out so many people, when I left, they called out my name and it made me wish I could go back again. While I was looking at the bar, a gentleman named Scott asked how I was enjoying my food. I told him I hadn't tried it yet, but that the mimosa was rocking! The soup was delicious with great flavoring, and the biscuits paired perfectly with their tasty jam. The chicken salad also tasted great, but unfortunately, I bit into a sharp chicken bone that hurt my mouth. Because of this, I stopped eating the sandwich. When Brayden checked back in, I let him know I couldn't finish it due to the bone. He handled it perfectly, promptly took the sandwich away, and removed the charge from my bill. He also brought out some bread for my soup as requested. I finished my meal with a salted caramel craft iced latte, which was absolutely delicious. Minor food mishap aside, the outstanding customer service from both Brayden and Scott will definitely bring me back!

Today my friend wanted to celebrate her birthday here so of course I said yes! We decided to sit on the outdoor patio today. It wasn't the warmest day but it was beautiful out. The sun was peeking out once in a while. The table was nicely shaded by a huge umbrella. The sun was nice but to have it beating on you isn't the best so the umbrella was appreciated. It was the perfect table for our outing. Jerika (I hope I spelled her name right) greeted my friend and I with her beautiful smile. We got some drinks started so while they were being worked on, my friend and I breezed over the menu. I did somewhat enjoy my charboiled salmon at the Eagle Bardenay for my birthday a couple weeks ago. The chefs did undercook my first plate of salmon. The server was kind to take my plate back to have the chefs remake it. The second attempt was appreciated but it was unfortunately a fail. The salmon came out so dry. I get that I wanted it well done but not jerky. But, today's a new day and I was willing to give it another shot. So today, I ordered the salmon with veggies instead of the salad. My plate came out and it looked promising. I love beautiful char marks on my food. The char marks today were perfect. My veggies looked nicely cooked but I could tell that some of the squash was still undercooked by the color. I didn't mind, it's a sign of freshness. As much as I wanted to stare at the prettiness of my food, I was ready to dig in! My salmon was so good! It was perfectly cooked! No raw spots in the middle, it was flaky and moist.
