the food was awesome. Although the service was awful. I'm not sure if the team of waiters/waitresses are very inexperienced or just lack concern. First, we were seated without any introduction, this restaurant has a scan,order,pay through your phone service. So you don't actually talk to a waiter, this was my 1st time here.. how was i supposed to know that? When we were seated we placed our orders and had to pay before our food arrived. Not the usual but we didn't complain, but when we got our drinks the waitress gives us one straw and walks away. I'm dining with my girlfriend. Again, Is it the inexperience or just lack of concern? The food was awesome, but just note when you want to place another order you have to go through the process of placing an order from your phone again. We did just that.. ordered another drink and after 20 minutes of waiting i go inside to see what the wait is, a waiter walks up to me with the drink and states they got the order but didn't know what table the order was for... after i used the service they provide to use. Fine but more importantly, instead of approaching us and letting us know this minutes before, the group of waiters/waitresses are in the restaurant huddled talking amongst each other. If you're looking for a restaurant with a typical dining experience or feel any normal experience during this pandemic... Don't come here! read more

Great location in the middle of Main Street shopping center! I just love the rustic, fresh design of this place. I also like the craft beer scene and this place certainly hit the spot if you want to try small-batch, artisanal and local beers. Now the bad news: the service here is terrible. The bartender seem okay with getting questions about the beers but the servers do not know much. The servers also do not seem to know the food menu either. And, depending which days of the week you go, you might not get your food on time or you will have a wait a very long time. The servers do not tell you anything; they kinda expect you to know that there was a fire in the kitchen or the grill cook died or something - hence, your burger will not be arriving any time soon. But, service can be fixed and I hope the managers at this place stress training to make sure customer experience is better. As a side note, I called Eureka a few weeks ago and spoke to a woman named Carla or Carley. So, so rude. I asked about reservations and she was practically yelling me on the phone! Who does that? Then, I find out Carley is the GENERAL MANAGER! Guess that explains a few things about the terrible service we got! Despite the availability of other establishments, Eureka offers a unique sense of belonging. It provided a welcome respite after a challenging week, and I am grateful for the opportunity to connect with Sam and Donny. I don't post reviews very often but wanted to do so today. My husband and I come to Eureka often--the food is really good. They have recently gone through a management change and it is quite evident. The new General Manager, Elena, is so nice. My husband and I used to come maybe once a month but since meeting Elena, we have made it a point to come once a week. She makes a point to go around and talk to everyone she can and is always so attentive to not only us but also our daughter. Not only does she make her presence known, the service has improved exponentially recently. We used to comment how we noticed the staff seemed to be afraid to talk to us. Now? The staff comes out and helps, tells us about specials (last night was an old fashioned kind of night) and makes sure we are getting taken care of. I am so bummed restaurants are being forced to shut down right now. We will support Eureka by ordering take out but can not wait to be able to come back so we can say hi to Elena and her staff. read more

Eureka in Cupertino delivered the perfect cozy date night! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with ideal weather for their outdoor seating. The service was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel effortless. We couldn't get enough of their dragon fruit mojitos--we had six between us! It's a specialty drink that's sadly being phased out, so definitely try it while you can. The cocktails were fresh, fruity, and dangerously smooth. The 28-day aged bone marrow burger was absolutely to die for--packed with bold flavor and incredibly juicy. We also ordered the poke stack appetizer, which was light, fresh, and beautifully layered, and the bison burger, which was rich, satisfying, and perfectly cooked. I've been here a couple of different times now and I have a mixed review about this restaurant. The first time I came I ordered a glass of wine and sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were coated in honey and sugar (I think). Had I known that the fries came coated in honey/sugar I wouldn't have ordered them. They were way too sweet for my taste. The second time I came here was because the bar next door at The Lazy Dog was jam packed (the Warriors game was on). Right away my friend and I spotted two open seats at the bar. The televisions are small but the service we received made up for it. Our bartender was great! And so were the mahi mahi fish tacos. From the moment we sat down, he greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home. His service was top-notch, attentive without being overbearing, and he made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. What really stood out, though, was his great sense of humor. We had a wonderful dinner at Eureka on Main Street in Cupertino, and I just had to share how fantastic the experience was--especially thanks to Makayla! She was incredibly kind, patient, and professional while taking our order, and she was so friendly with the kids, which made the evening extra special. My son was with his dad and godfather, and he felt so comfortable and happy--he even finished an entire bowl of mac and cheese (which never happens!). This eureka is located on main street in Cupertino. It's right in between lazy dog and chef hung (?). I always get their American cheeseburger, naked style with their truffle sauce (extra $2) for their fries. It is so good. I legit only go when I'm craving their truffle sauce. I think their truffle sauce deserves an extra star actually... Anyway, I've only ever been to this location. I'm sure the one in mountain view is just as good, only more crowded. First timer once again. Quickly seated for a Friday night, was expecting an hour wait but ended up being 5-10 mins. They also text you when you're table is ready, which is a new thing more restaurants are trying out. Excellent customer service. Server Adolph took great care of us. Not too much of a beer drinker, but wanted to go with the sampler. Had no clue on which beers to choose, but Adolph suggested a few based on liquor level and smoothness and they turned out great! Stopped by here yesterday, Sunday at about 5pm. The restaurant was not busy, but it took a very long time to place our order and get our drinks. Service was extremely slow, despite there being a lot of staff. Every time we received an item, it was from someone different. We had only stopped by for drinks and appetizers since we didn't have much time and had plans for dinner. The lack of service was very disappointing. I came here around 3pm On Friday 7/6. l had a business meeting at Eureka, party of 5. My waitress was a beautiful black super model looking classy sister. She had a wedding ring on. I ask for her opinion about the best alcoholic drink. Her choice was excellent. We ended up having two more rounds. Her service was outstanding. We had a salmon salad. All the food was great. I have two complaints: 1. the music was crazy horrible. Very loud and unbearable. 2. It was hot as hell in there. Beside those complaints, The drinks and the happy hour food was awesome. read more

The oso buco ribblets were ok as well as the mahi mahi tacos. Came here on 4/10 and it must have been after a staff meeting since there was more servers than patrons at the moment. Food is consistently delicious at this location, minus one star for service which is always a hit or miss. Depends on what time you visit. During weekday happy hour there is typically plenty of staff so service is attentive and friendly, brunch time weekends (right at 11 am/11:30) service is incredibly slow.
