Food 5/5: every item was amazing. I got the chimichurri and frites. Love me a good steak and fries lol. We had the rolls and dip as the appetizer and it was simple but good. Service 4/5: our server gave us recs and took care of us really well. They gave us recs as this was our first time. Our food came out later than some that came after us which sucked but they made up for it by giving us an appetizer. Ambiance 5/5: definitely boujee vibes lol. Not a t shirt and jeans type of place so make sure to look your best! This place is perfect for date night, celebration, or if you just want a nice dinner. Parking: they have a parking lot but we did valet which was so much easier of course.
Before you read my review... my favorite places to eat do not look the nicest, but serve very flavorful food and are clean. The restaurant was very beautiful inside, but does not give the correct vibes. Music was very very loud, and the crowd was super "influencer-y" . People are taking photos everywhere which makes sense for how much you are paying for your meal. Our sever was great, very attentive. The food was good. The items on the menu were up to par, but the food itself was not as great as it should be for what you're paying for it. We ordered caviar service which was done well. The lobster dish for 2 was a good portion of lobster and pasta. Do yourself a favor and order the chocolate cake for dessert (get this!) it was moist and indulgent! Overall, the look was amazing, vibes were not intimate, more party esq. food was good not great, drinks were strong and tasty. Absolutely worth it for the experience.
My boyfriend and I have made this our anniversary tradition. Last year we loved the experience and this year it was no different. First of all, is this restaurant perfect? No. But what has us coming back is their consistency and attention to detail. The space is gorgeous and each room brings a different vibe to the dining experience. We were sat in the darkest of the rooms that was very romantic, and thankfully the music wasn't too loud. When we were seated we found a frame on the table holding a message congratulations us on our anniversary, with our names included. It was very sweet! Our server was prompt, attentive, and very charming. She asked us questions about ourselves and also gave great recommendations throughout the night. The drinks were good! However, the Passionate Kiss started to taste very chemical forward the longer it sat (I'm a slow drinker) so I only finished half of it. Not sure if it was because of the print on the foam originally or what, but it wasn't pleasant. I got the scallops and loved them, especially since I was able to try their orzo with it that normally comes with the salmon instead. The scallops were tender and the flavor was rich and well balanced with the rest of the plate. My boyfriend loved his chops and devoured everything. He also got the Potatoes Au Gratin and couldn't get enough. They were very rich and had great flavor. I had previously seen reviews from others saying the potatoes and other dishes were bland but that was not our experience. The rolls were one of the best parts. I wish I could whip butter like that at home. Towards the end they brought us a couple of glasses of Prosecco to cheers with, and a complimentary dessert (the Samoa sundae). We also ordered the Chocolate Decadence which was incredibly good. The goal is to come back next year, and plenty of times before that as well. Thanks to the Evelyn team for such a great dinner!
EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING. my friend recommended dinner here while i was in town and it did not dissapoint. The ambiance was amazing. I made reservations and was seated shortly after. The service exceeded expectations. I ordered a lychee martini it had a dash of tajin the best one ive had so far. I tried their crab cakes AMAZING. to dinner I had the lobster linguine it was great. I did try the salmon it was okay. The cheesecake was amazing. They even offered complimentary champagne in the bathroom. The bathroom was so gorgeous.
We took a family friend here for her birthday and had a great time. This was the best food ever! Honestly everything was really good besides the chicken on the rigatoni. The drinks were delicious and our server was super nice. As soon as you walk in you see how beautiful the restaurant is. The only complaint is that the music is insanely loud, like to the point we are yelling. If it was a club, it would make sense but for a dinner place, it was quite literally crazy. Other than that the food is really good!

One of my favorite things about Evelyn is that it isn't just a restaurant; it's an experience! The atmosphere is elegant but still fun and inviting, and every detail has been thoughtfully curated. Whether you're celebrating a birthday, enjoying date night, or introducing friends from out of town to Dallas, it's the kind of place people continue talking about long after the evening ends. If you're looking for a memorable night out with exceptional hospitality, Evelyn is absolutely worth visiting! I highly recommend!
Well I heard so much about this restaurant that I tried to get a reservation for my birthday, but could not because they were so booked up. I had to book out five weeks in advance to get this reservation. That said, completely worth it! We were put in the Ruby room, I believe with the bar. I meant to try to get the room with the dancers, but didn't remember what the name was, so we made our way over there when the dances came around... Absolutely adorable This was a complete experience. Our server was absolutely phenomenal. She gave us great recommendations. She was very personable. The food was amazing!!!! We started off with the roasted cauliflower appetizer, the Wagyu cheesesteak bites, a seafood bisque, a Caesar salad, and a BLT wedge. Our main entrées were the jumbo sea scallops topped with a bump of caviar, prime ribeye with a side of truffle tallow Parmesan fries and a filet mignon. Cocktails were exceptionally good and the desserts were wonderful especially the crème brûlée cheesecake When I tell you, everything was delicious..... The whole restaurant is absolutely gorgeous. The restrooms are a hangout spot where they serve Champagne. We had so much fun there that we were already talking about our next visit. Can't wait.
This place is ideal if you're looking to prioritize vibes. The inside is gorgeous. Super swanky, old school feel. You're greeted with glasses of prosecco at the door and in the restroom. The service was also nice, we got a chance to meet the restaurant manager who was super warm and welcoming. The food however was just okay. I did enjoy the Wagu macaroni, don't expect anything cheesy, it's more cheese pasta vibes. But the taste itself was pretty good. The fries were meh, and they come with a weird "cocktail" sauce which didn't pair at all. Some members of my party also mentioned the wedge salad and the whipped potatoes were good. There just weren't any standout items on the menu, especially for the price. We also tried the creme brûlée cheesecake, chocolate decadence, and samoa sundae. They tasted how you expect they would.
The intimate setting is what will keep me coming. Warm, alluring colors , complete balance to set the tone. They have different sections that weren't open but you could go see ( private party type ). The valet was quick and friendly, went to the bar, before being seated at the table. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Drinks 10/10, lamb chops slightly overcooked, weren't gamier at all, now the crab cake 10/10 nice size and flavorful, the wagyu meatballs delicious 10/10. The calamari and shrimp 9/10.

Really great design and decor. The restaurant is segmented into a few spaces, we sat at the main bar where Ruby provided excellent service. The other room with a bar had dancers coming through every 30 minutes or so doing dance routines to wedding music. The dirty martinis were pretty standard. The cheesesteak bites had the most perfect bread for the situation and it should be generally illegal to use any other bread prepared any other way for cheesesteaks and lobster rolls at large. The meat however was not super flavorful and mine had pieces that were overdone. We liked the cauliflower and veal parm a lot. Overall good experience and we would come back!
This spot was a totally random find and turned out to be one of the best steak house experiences I've ever had. We didn't have a reservation but were able to get in at the bar. The interior and music was an absolute vibe. They had a DJ playing and apparently have different ones all the time. We shared the filet, cooked to PERFECTION, and the creamed spinach and loaded mashed potatoes. Everything was hot, fresh, and soooooo tasty and comforting. You absolutely have to get that spinach. Loved the dirty martinis with blue cheese olives. Also recommend getting the bread- it comes with 4 types of whipped butter. Can't wait to visit again when we're back in town.
I was in the area for work and decided to stop in, and I'm very glad I did. The ambience is gorgeous. The space feels polished, inviting, and perfect for both a celebratory dinner or an elevated night out. My server, Minerva, was attentive, personable, and truly enhanced the experience with her thoughtful service. A manager (black gentleman, I forgot his name) also came by to check on me during the meal, which I always appreciate and consider a strong reflection of hospitality standards. I started with a mocktail that was refreshing and well balanced. For my meal, I had the seafood soup followed by the Chilean sea bass. Both dishes had excellent flavor and were clearly prepared with care. My only minor critique was the temperature. The food leaned more warm than hot, but the quality and taste were still very enjoyable. I ended with the sticky cake for dessert, which was rich, satisfying, and a great finish to the meal. Overall, this was a wonderful dining experience with standout service, beautiful ambiance, and flavorful cuisine. I would absolutely return and look forward to dining here again.
This place was a great experience. It's super classy and give Vegas vibes. They had a DJ after sundown that was great. Service a little slow but they were packed. I highly recommend going with the Rigatoni allá vodka or the main lobster linguine. read more

Visiting from Austin and had dinner at the bar. The decor, even leading up to the front door was impeccable. Love the different themes for Drue different rooms. Soundtrack was on point Had the wedge, seafood bisque and oysters to start. I've had some petite oysters in my time, but these shells were about the size of a quarter, not sure if thats the usual here. Bisque was incredible. Wedge executed well Main was the filet, mashed potatoes and spinach. I'm not even a big steak guy, but this was perfect. Love the touches w/ the engraved cutlery and dinner plates! The bartender was very friendly, but I wish they had a little more experience behind the bar. Didn't know what some classic spirits were, didn't know some very classic cocktails. Said about 3 words the entire time we were there. Paying those kind of prices with such well executed everything else, I'm expecting, the bar staff was the only thing that fell short Fortune was great too. Beautiful restaurant! so classic! Let me mention before I forget. Our waiter was named Jerry. He gave exceptional service ! He was hilarious also! Ask for him at the door. Me and my two best friends had rsvp for 9:15. we had the cheesecake bites for appetizer, the seafood bisque, The steak and The rigatoni but with shrimp. Nothing bad to say at all. The ladies room was sexy and peaceful at the same time. We shut the place down literally. I definitely recommend you go. read more

We really enjoyed our time here! We came on a weekday at 6:30, not very busy or loud. The service was impeccable!!! We felt so well taken care of. The interior is dark and moody, kind of like a cocaine den lol. I liked it! The food was delicious, we especially enjoyed the cheesesteaks, mushrooms, veal, cowboy steak, and the toffee cake! The cake brought tears to my eyes lol. The restaurant vibes were definitely giving "The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo". Great book and great establishment!! read more

Gave Evelyn another try. As previously valet was great, no delays and very pleasant attendants. This time we made a reservation for Ruby room and it has darkroom-core aesthetic. As previously their service is great. For drinks I went with my safe choice and favorite drink Negroni with Zephyr gin and it was done perfectly For appetizers: I ordered calamari and shrimp, which was good and I also got Hudson Valley Fois Gras Mousse, which I did not like, however not because it was not done properly but because I didn't like fois gras in the mousse form, so obviously since it was a preference issue I did not send the dish back just did not enjoy it due to my taste buds. For entree: I got Jumbo Sea Scallops and they were delicious! and with that I ordered a side of wild mushrooms which was good as well. For dessert: I had a cappuccino and Sticky Tofee Cake and both were good! I will give this place five stars the day when they actually decorate it and do the pictures in the 70-80s Hollywood style and by that I mean add people of color to the paintings and photographs on the walls. I visited Evelyn in Dallas this past Sunday after my friend made a reservation for 7:30 PM. We were seated within about 5 minutes, which was a good start. The restaurant itself is beautiful inside - definitely gives off an upscale, stylish vibe, and the music was on point all night. Our waitress, Nyla, was friendly and offered us a few recommendations. We ordered an appetizer and an entrée based on her suggestions. The appetizer was actually solid and flavorful. However, the entrée was a huge letdown. Despite Nyla saying it packs "TONS of flavor," it was completely bland. Given the price point, I expected so much more. Overall, the service was good and the ambiance is great if you're looking for a cute spot to dine. But the food - especially at this price - needs to match the hype. Probably won't rush back unless they spruce up the menu. read more

Went to Evelyn for drinks and apps with some girlfriends and we have a wonderful time! The staff was friendly, the decor was beautiful and the bar staff knows how to make a drink! We all got 'The Passionate Kiss' which is their pornstar martini. For apps we went with the parker house rolls, calamari & shrimp and wagyu cheesetake bites. The bread came with various house spreads so it was nice to try different ones out-some that were better than others. The calamari could have been fried a little harder but the sauce was fantastic. My friend was a big fan of the wagyu cheesesteak. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and are planning on going back to try out more of their menu! read more

We went late due to our reservation time of 10:45, which didn't really make sense considering we later learned the kitchen closes at 11pm. We ordered quickly to avoid any issues and had the rigatoni with chicken, the ribeye chicharron mac & cheese, the truffle fries, and some cocktails. The rigatoni was good and spicy. The fries were amazing. The Mac & cheese was also flavorful and had about 5 oz of steak bites. That said, it was relatively cold. The service was great, the music far too loud, and it seemed like there were 60 workers just constantly running around. I wasn't that impressed. I think it's more expensive than it should be, and it doesn't make sense to have reservations right up until the kitchen closes. read more

This is a woman themed steakhouse with the focus being no other than Evelyn Hugo. Everything was immaculate. There are many different rooms to choose from from for seating. They have 3 rooms that you can rent out 1 of which is very private and tucked away to be decorated to your liking. Our waitress was Nyla. She took very good care of us and seemed to have a genuine interest in us. I like the personal touch of asking for our names and using our names throughout the dinner. I don't know if that's the training or just something she does. The food was delicious. We started with yellowtail sashimi that was topped with a bright citrusy relish. We also tried the calamari and shrimp. My family said it was scrumptious with a very light coating. I think it came with 2 dips. We shared the Caesar salad. I'm very picky about my Caesar salads, but this one didn't disappoint! For mains my daughter and I got the salmon which came with spinach and orzo with an avocado aioli. We enjoyed it, but I do feel like my salmon was cooked 1 minute too long. My husband got a filet mignon, mac and cheese and truffle fries for the table. The steak was perfectly cooked. Our other daughter got the spicy vodka rigatoni that came with a huge chicken cutlet. For a side she got spicy broccolini that came with a honey mustard type of dip. We also got the Parker house rolls that came with 4 whipped butters. My family raved while I thought they were just ok. We ended the dinner with the crème brûlée cheesecake, and it was divine. Oh we had some cocktails and mocktails. We definitely plan to return. Our time spent was 2.5 hours for a family of 4 adults. Fortune checked on us throughout dinner also. I think he might be a floor manager of sorts. I definitely recommend Evelyn's. How can I forget the bathrooms. They were gorgeous. There are also some great photo opportunities. read more

My overall sentiment is "meh". Beautiful restaurant. This is definitely a lively place with loud music and great vibes. If I was rating just on that it would be an easy 5 stars. The service is SLOWWWW. I had a 10:30 reservation, didn't get seated until 10:40, the server didn't come by until 10:55 after we asked a manger for a server. The appetizers came out before my drink which took 32 mins to get. The entrees came out at 11:58. I asked for sauce and never got it. The food was good but not mind blowing. Hated the half cooked au gratin potatoes. The waiter was apologetic about the quality of service and looked out for us. I appreciate that. I would go back just to enjoy the music, drinks and vibes but not for dinner. There are much better steakhouse options in Dallas. read more

10's all around! They really do go above and beyond to make their guests feel so special. Lily, Henry, and Fortune were all so kind! The calamari was great. The sea bass, vodka pasta, and strawberry martini were beyond perfect (all per our beautiful server's recommendation). The ambience itself is a reason to visit. Three different rooms with different styles but all within the same 20's concept. Would definitely be visiting again. read more

Saw this place on TikTok and had to come try it! Very stunning everyone was nice. My waiters were Miguel and Sandro two handsome gentlemen (if I do say so myself) they were very kind. They surprised me with the Samoa sundae as a birthday desert and also a chocolate candy that was shaped as a kiss. We got a filet to share with sides of spinach and broccoli which were a 10/10! We came back and gave Evelyn another chance. First I need to give a shoutout to one of the managers, Nick, who personally called me to get additional feedback on what they could do better. So I came back with my husband on Saturday and was so pleasantly surprised at a) the service we got and b) the food. We had minor hiccup in the beginning where the prosecco came out flat but our server gladly replaced it. For appetizers we got the Parker House rolls (I LOVE all the butters they give with it) and oysters (delicious and fresh) and the Bluefin Tuna Crudo (nice and light and so good with a perfect kick to it!). For dinner my husband got a medium rare filet which was cooked perfectly but a bit on the salty side. I got the sea bass which was delicious (personal preference would have been as Asian sauce but it was still delicious). We got the broccolini side (very good) and the ribeye mac and cheese (I liked it but didn't love it). For dessert we got the Samoa sundae which had all the coconut flavors but no chocolate! It just came with a chocolate dipped biscotti but the bowl should've been lined with chocolate sauce or something. Wow! This new place blew me away! From service to ambiance and the food EXCELLENT!! After trying many new places that opened in Dfw, this one by far is my favorite new place. Gave me the vibe of 70's James Bond feel LOLOL Very warm, cozy and music was perfect! I went with 3 other girls and we did not want to leave! It was a great hang out place. Appetizers we ordered crabcakes, carpaccio and calamari Main dishes we ordered the lobster linguini, veal and rigatoni.. best Rigatoni I have ever tried!! Sides: truffle fries and wild mushrooms. I absolutely LOVED Evelyn. This is one of the few place in Dallas I've tried that isn't just trendy and has a good aesthetic/atmosphere. The food was phenomenal and I would highly recommend /go back. The wagyu cheesesteak bites were sooo good. The ribeye was flavorful and cooked to perfection. I can't remember the name of the pasta but it had hot honey on the chicken and in the sauce which added an extra little kick and was my favorite thing on the menu. The truffle fries were good and a large portion. The Mac and cheese was also good and I like how it had little steak bites in it. The passion kiss was also really good and I loved the player it was served on. The waiter was amazing and gave us lots of recommendations. Overall this is a really cute restaurant for a date night, girls night, or birthday dinner! read more

Evelyn is absolutely beautiful with multiple rooms you may dine in and has beautiful artwork as well as great music. Valet is complimentary and quick. Reservation was for 9:15 and we were sat at 9:25. Our server was almost immediate and knowledgeable over the menu. We sat in the Ruby room which has a gorgeous chandelier perfect for photo ops. We ordered the Wagyu meatballs for an appetizer which they were good but lacked flavor to me. I had to smother the meatball with the sauce to truly enjoy so I would give it a 3/5. The Passionate Kiss was the cocktail I ordered and it somewhat reminds me of a P**nstar Martini. I had two of those and it was delicious 5/5. For our entrees we ordered Lamb Chops, Ribeye Chicarron Macaroni, Creamed Spinach and Filet Mignon Steak with Truffle Tallow Parmesan Fries. The Lamb Chops were cooked to perfection with an amazing Chimichurri sauce (5/5) Ribeye Chicarron Macaroni was lackluster in flavors completely but very cheesy and alot of meat yes but no seasoning or true flavor. (2/5) Creamed Spinach was the worst for me that night it wasn't truly creamy more so watery with no flavor at all but our server was so nice we kept it. (1/5) Filet Mignon was flavorful and cooked perfectly (4/5) Truffle Tallow Parmesan Fries were fantastic (5/5) The food was okay for me but if I were to return it would be for drinks and appetizers. Our server was phenomenal and food came out really fast. I really wanted to try the Rigatoni Alla Vodka but was told they were out after I ordered it which was a bit surprising since it was 9:40 and doesn't close until 12AM however I understood. read more

Wagyu steak was good medium well. Sides were all good middle of table, except the rib eye Mac and cheese the macaronis were hard. Broccolini good, mushrooms so good and truffle fries good.
