Loved this breakfast dish. John was the person working and he was so kind! Did a lovely job with my breakfast bowl. I loved the dressing, arugula, and shaved parmesan with the frittata. Super yum combo of flavors for a nutritious breakfast!

I am back at PDX and this is my first stop. Great salad and EXCELLENT customer service. Really love this place. Please come and create your own salad and be happy. That's what I did.

    Too much dressing

The service was terrible. We weren't even greeted. The avocado was brown. They wouldn't give us a new avocado. They said they'd have to charge us for it. What tyoe of restaurant would do such a thing. The server smoother my salad with dressing. It was so sick. This place is terrible.

This was one of the beast bowls I ever had. I had a gluten-free jalapeño bowl and subbed the chicken for vegetarian chorizo. Mitchell and all the staff were amazing.

Build-your-own salad: fully vegan options! Filling and completely delicious. Glad I did a search on vegan options at PDX and this was the first result. I recommend

El Sombrero with the spices Greek yogurt dressing. Delicious! Add protein!

Typically, I detest airport food, however, I now try to show up early enough to make it down to the E concourse, even though my flights always go out of a concourse on the other end. The food is healthy, clean and absolutely delicious.

As far as airport food goes, PDX just does it better. This is one of my favorite spots at Portland's airport. If you're looking for something fresh, healthy, and delicious then give this place a try. Employees are nice and efficient and it definitely stands out decor wise in a terminal full of options.... It's even decorated healthy!

An awesome find at the PDX airport! My parents and I wanted something fresh and light and came upon Evergreens! They have a wide variety of salads to choose from or you can build your own! All three of us enjoyed our salads (we all ordered different salad bowls and tried from each other!). The servers were very friendly, helpful, and didn't rush us as we went through our order. We then sat at tables in the cafeteria area with big beautiful windows facing the mountains (and planes!).

TL;DR - This was a refreshing gem of a restaurant at PDX Airport. Give it a chance, you won't be disappointed! Background: I ran out of time to grab food before getting to the airport, and looked forward to tasteless, bland, oversalted or overpriced airport food. Instead of disappointment, I was pleasantly surprised. Food: Southern Saucepitality ($11.97) w/Chicken (+$3.00) This was the perfect balance of sweet, salty, sour and savory! It was refreshing, and the bowl was definitely packed to the brim. (5/5) I would definitely order this again! Service: Typically, I expect grumpy, overworked servers but these ones were friendly, attentive, patient and cordial. (5/5) I'm giving this 5 stars because it's a great place to check out at the airport, I would go again and I would 100% recommend others here, too! Ambiance: This is basically connected to a small food court in the airport. (There were stools with power outlets, and regular tables with no outlets.)

    Wok This Way mmmmm

My wife and I both decided to try this. I immediately pounced on the Wok This Way (chicken, legumes, rice and sauce and your pick of stuff, $14.47). I asked for extra jalapenos and a cup for water. I thought this was spot on; i like spicy food and enjoyed the flavor and freshness. The serving was BIG and could easily be enough for two retired adults who dont eat so much :) My wife tho, thought it was way too spicy. They forgot to put the chicken on it too, and she had to go back. I was disappointed with the plastic covers and plastic cups. Yes the cups are allegedly compostable but I have little confidence the airport is actually hand selecting these out to compost in controlled environment. For these prices no reason we cant be 100% earth friendly. Service friendly and quick.

    Partially eaten Southern Saucpitality salad

It was a pleasant surprise to get a tasty salad at the airport the other day. I ordered the Southern Saucpitality salad. I ordered it exactly as it was on the menu. I loved it. The balance of flavors was exceptional. The pickles added brightness and went really well with the spicy dressing. I appreciated that they ask if you want your dressing put on lightly, medium or heavy. Nice individualization! Service was fast and friendly. When I asked for a bit of salt the cashier brought me out a generous amount or crunchy kosher salt in a little bowl, asking if I needed a lid for the plane. I appreciated their fresh ingredients in a venue often filled with heavy pub type food. This is a keeper at the really great Portland Airport!

    Southern Saucepitality. Yummy!

I wish there were places like this in every airport! I always feel gross when I travel, and the last thing I want is greasy food. Evergreens is so fresh and delicious and was exactly what I needed!

    Caesar Wrap
    Becca H.

Four stars if it were outside the airport, but for airport food this scores five stars easily because of quality, freshness, and flavor. The price is a little high but - airport - so it's to be expected. Got a Caesar wrap with a few slight changes (added steak, corn, onions) and it was great! The lemon flavor really came through and the ingredients were obviously fresh. Definitely a refreshing option for an airport where usually things are still overpriced, but greasy & terrible for you. It's also a good portion size - you could definitely share this with someone if you weren't overly hungry. Put these in more airports please!

We loved Amaro's Table, another restaurant in the company, but Cecilia had a few glitches. First of all...we loved Hanah. She was very friendly and engaging. Both were excellent. But, I still don't understand why the accompanying maple syrup is served cold, and not heated?? Regarding the benedicts, the eggs were borderline hard. One person felt the hollandaise was too salty. The coffee delivery was very slow to one of the patrons. The restrooms and the general appearance of the restaurant was also perfect. We were surprised by a complimentary plate of donuts since it was our first visit to Cecilia. These were hot and very fresh. I noticed the tables around us remained dirty and were not bussed. Even if you don't plan to use the tables again, they should be cleaned and set-up quickly. It was just ok, and not a restaurant I will rush back to.

They had a nice food counter at the back of the store, with a lot of different items. I would've been glad to go for a grilled cheese with tomato soup, if I had not already just eaten at the airport lounge. The place smelled good. I hear sometimes they have samples available, this time they didn't. Besides the food counter, they did have a good amount of their cheese available, in both blocks and bags. I got two bags, a black pepper cheese, and a cheese curds, both for only 11 bucks, and that was before the military/veterans discount. Those aren't airport prices, those are street prices. I was very pleased. I tried both of my cheese when I got home. You could definitely taste the black pepper, but it didn't over power the cheese. They played very well together. The cheese curds were creamy, with a little bit of the "squeak" that you expect with a good cheese curd. A great store, worth a stop. Thanks.

I invite you to look at my other two reviews of Grassa, and you will see how much I love some of their items... I decided to read the reviews of this location, prior to posting mine. I wanted to get a feel of what others are thinking, since I did have one matter that bothered me during this visit... To those that complained about long waits... that must have been resolved, because I saw the staff tell every guest that walked up that there would be a 30 minute wait. That is the proper thing to do, since all dishes are made fresh. Some have time to spare, while others need to get to their gate quickly. So please keep in mind that this is a made to order place. Not fast food... I saw several comments regarding the sandwiches. It's the chance you take. Of course it will not taste "fresh". It's in a cold section. Perhaps Grassa could consider putting a couple of freshly made sandwiches on this location's menu. Just an idea... I have to agree with one of the commentators on here, regarding putting a roped off area around the order station... I ordered a couple of my faves to take back to Cali with me! Meatballs and the Pork Belly Mac & Cheese. My Hubby had never eaten at Grassa, and he could not stop talking about how delicious the food was!!! He said we had to take a drive down to Portland soon... Lastly, I sadly must agree with some comments on here. I do not like leaving negative remarks. I know we all have off days. Life is not easy at times. I also believe in supporting other women, and building them up... Nevertheless, I must say that the woman working the register leaves much to be desired. She is the first impression walk up guests have. This location must not rely on familiarity, since these are travelers. Many have never even heard of Grassa, and some will only eat there once on the way to their destination. Which could be anywhere in the world! That being said... a warm greeting, and smile is the very basic paying customers deserve. Italians back home are known for their hospitality, and outgoing personalities!!! The woman working the counter did not smile once. It's a shame too. She is very pretty. I was smiling at her, and giving her a chance to redeem my first impression of her. She did not reciprocate. I observed her from my table for 40 minutes. She did not smile with any of the many patrons that came through there. She also kept busying herself with filling up little dip cups between customers. She never made my gin drink, so I had to walk up to the counter. I stood there for a while, before a very pleasant man asked me if I needed help. I told him I had not received my drink order, and he got right on it! We exchanged conversation, and he told me that his Wife also worked at Grassa. He was extremely down to earth and simpatico. I asked him his name, because I wanted to include him in my review... So I want to recognize "Adrian", for making my day... and saving my impression of this establishment!!!
