This place is AMAZING! I had seen some ads and heard of it opening up around Portland, but didn't get the chance to go until I had a flight out of concourse E in PDX. Holy cow, this place is great. As a former NYer who desperately misses Sweetgreen, this place is that and so much more. The menu is extensive, with options for wraps, salads, rice bowls, and breakfast options too. I tried the Jalapeno Business bowl - which remains my current favorite - and the Spice Spice Baby with chicken instead of pork on two separate visits. Everything is so fresh and nutritious. Both times I went, the staff was also super friendly! Great experience all around. Although PDX does already have some great untraditional airport food options that don't make me feel like trash before a flight, Evergreens truly takes the cake. Great options for high protein, high fiber, vegetarian, vegan, etc. There's something for everyone here! I will be arriving at the airport early just to walk down to concourse E for the foreseeable just to go here. Praying that they open more locations closer to Portland but until then, happy to make this a VERY rewarding airport treat. read more

The line here was so long and going slow but I waited because I had some time before my flight. Honestly worth it to get a healthy option at the airport. I wasn't sure how good it would actually taste but honestly this was really good. The annoying thing is everything costs extra. Chicken was 3$ extra, quinoa extra, sweet potatoes, etc. Pretty much every protein was extra. My bowl ended up being 15$ but it still pained me to get the 3$ chicken. An awesome find at the PDX airport! My parents and I wanted something fresh and light and came upon Evergreens! They have a wide variety of salads to choose from or you can build your own! My wife and I both decided to try this. I immediately pounced on the Wok This Way (chicken, legumes, rice and sauce and your pick of stuff, $14.47). I asked for extra jalapenos and a cup for water. I thought this was spot on; i like spicy food and enjoyed the flavor and freshness. The serving was BIG and could easily be enough for two retired adults who dont eat so much :) My wife tho, thought it was way too spicy. They forgot to put the chicken on it too, and she had to go back. I was disappointed with the plastic covers and plastic cups. Yes the cups are allegedly compostable but I have little confidence the airport is actually hand selecting these out to compost in controlled environment. For these prices no reason we cant be 100% earth friendly. Service friendly and quick. read more

It's usually already closed by the time I'm catching a flight out of here, but on my last trip it was open and I was hungry, so I stopped in for a bite! The balance of flavors was exceptional. The pickles added brightness and went really well with the spicy dressing. I appreciated that they ask if you want your dressing put on lightly, medium or heavy. Nice individualization! Service was fast and friendly. When I asked for a bit of salt the cashier brought me out a generous amount or crunchy kosher salt in a little bowl, asking if I needed a lid for the plane.
