Build-your-own salad: fully vegan options! Filling and completely delicious. Glad I did a search on vegan options at PDX and this was the first result. I recommend

Loved this breakfast dish. John was the person working and he was so kind! Did a lovely job with my breakfast bowl. I loved the dressing, arugula, and shaved parmesan with the frittata. Super yum combo of flavors for a nutritious breakfast!

I am back at PDX and this is my first stop. Great salad and EXCELLENT customer service. Really love this place. Please come and create your own salad and be happy. That's what I did.

As far as airport food goes, PDX just does it better. This is one of my favorite spots at Portland's airport. If you're looking for something fresh, healthy, and delicious then give this place a try. Employees are nice and efficient and it definitely stands out decor wise in a terminal full of options.... It's even decorated healthy!

An awesome find at the PDX airport! My parents and I wanted something fresh and light and came upon Evergreens! They have a wide variety of salads to choose from or you can build your own! All three of us enjoyed our salads (we all ordered different salad bowls and tried from each other!). The servers were very friendly, helpful, and didn't rush us as we went through our order. We then sat at tables in the cafeteria area with big beautiful windows facing the mountains (and planes!).

TL;DR - This was a refreshing gem of a restaurant at PDX Airport. Give it a chance, you won't be disappointed! Background: I ran out of time to grab food before getting to the airport, and looked forward to tasteless, bland, oversalted or overpriced airport food. Instead of disappointment, I was pleasantly surprised. Food: Southern Saucepitality ($11.97) w/Chicken (+$3.00) This was the perfect balance of sweet, salty, sour and savory! It was refreshing, and the bowl was definitely packed to the brim. (5/5) I would definitely order this again! Service: Typically, I expect grumpy, overworked servers but these ones were friendly, attentive, patient and cordial. (5/5) I'm giving this 5 stars because it's a great place to check out at the airport, I would go again and I would 100% recommend others here, too! Ambiance: This is basically connected to a small food court in the airport. (There were stools with power outlets, and regular tables with no outlets.)

It was a pleasant surprise to get a tasty salad at the airport the other day. I ordered the Southern Saucpitality salad. I ordered it exactly as it was on the menu. I loved it. The balance of flavors was exceptional. The pickles added brightness and went really well with the spicy dressing. I appreciated that they ask if you want your dressing put on lightly, medium or heavy. Nice individualization! Service was fast and friendly. When I asked for a bit of salt the cashier brought me out a generous amount or crunchy kosher salt in a little bowl, asking if I needed a lid for the plane. I appreciated their fresh ingredients in a venue often filled with heavy pub type food. This is a keeper at the really great Portland Airport!

    Wok This Way mmmmm

My wife and I both decided to try this. I immediately pounced on the Wok This Way (chicken, legumes, rice and sauce and your pick of stuff, $14.47). I asked for extra jalapenos and a cup for water. I thought this was spot on; i like spicy food and enjoyed the flavor and freshness. The serving was BIG and could easily be enough for two retired adults who dont eat so much :) My wife tho, thought it was way too spicy. They forgot to put the chicken on it too, and she had to go back. I was disappointed with the plastic covers and plastic cups. Yes the cups are allegedly compostable but I have little confidence the airport is actually hand selecting these out to compost in controlled environment. For these prices no reason we cant be 100% earth friendly. Service friendly and quick.

    Southern Saucepitality. Yummy!

I wish there were places like this in every airport! I always feel gross when I travel, and the last thing I want is greasy food. Evergreens is so fresh and delicious and was exactly what I needed!

    Caesar Wrap

Four stars if it were outside the airport, but for airport food this scores five stars easily because of quality, freshness, and flavor. The price is a little high but - airport - so it's to be expected. Got a Caesar wrap with a few slight changes (added steak, corn, onions) and it was great! The lemon flavor really came through and the ingredients were obviously fresh. Definitely a refreshing option for an airport where usually things are still overpriced, but greasy & terrible for you. It's also a good portion size - you could definitely share this with someone if you weren't overly hungry. Put these in more airports please!

This is a great option to get healthy food. You can build your own salad or bowl, add protein and pick the veggies you love. If you want, you can pick from their specialties. Prices are reasonable too! Try the garlic croutons. You can also get a side of fresh bread. Yummy!

Picked up a BYOB and glad I went this route. The sauce was really good, veggies were fresh, the steak wasn't too overcooked but the rice was a little mushy. Not the end of the world but would have made the bowl not as soggy. I would definitely come back order and order this again and again.

A tasty healthy option in PDX. Most bowls are $15-20. I love their SouthWest salad. Bold flavors and very filling.

We would have thought they would even have pictures of popular dishes on the wall. The server behind the counter helped with suggestions, but was unenthusiastic. When I used the restroom to wash my hands, there were no paper towels in the dispenser or an air-dryer. . The food was delicious. And suffered no ill effects. I did ask for a table knife to cut the large portions of meat in my dish. And I was given a plastic fork. While we were eating, a group of people came in, and the server told them they were "Closed". One of the men was walking out upset when the server said, 'he was kidding'. Wow! How unprofessional. Bottom line: I like giving favorable reviews, and it pains me to give a 1-2 star review, but it is necessary in hopes they make corrections or people find somewhere else to eat. Two lunch-size meals came to just over $50.00. The overall experience was meh . Unable to recommend this restaurant to friends and family, based on our experience.

The menu is a bit challenging to navigate the first time through, but the staff is lovely and will help direct you. I'll say that the printed direction to order 4-7 dishes per person would be crazy. We did not need 35 dishes! Some of the dishes are very small, and some are enormous, so ask if you don't know to strike the perfect balance. Some are offered on a range of 1-5 spiciness, and it definitely leans on the spicy side, so you may want to stick with 1-3. The flavors here are fabulous! Somewhat like a samosa filling but still quite unique. Wasn't spicy but was very flavorful. Combination plate with Seeni Sambal (caramelised onion tamarind chutney), Polos (jackfruit curry), Deviled pineapple (daily special; the best of the lot!), Radish salad, Mustard Greens salad, and chickpea curry. Served with rice and papadum. The seeni sambal was the only mediocre thing on the platter. Loved the deviled pineapple where pineapple was stewed in a spicy sauce. The pineapple pieces had absorbed the sauce really well and were very juicy with a nice bite to them. The polos is also a must try - raw jackfruit really absorbs spices well and the fleshy and stringy / fibrous texture made it extra delicious. The mustard green and radish salad were also very moist and lightly seasoned, while the chickpea curry was only mildly spiced but balanced the rest of the dishes well. Mango ice tea (4/5) - we got it unsweetened so the mango flavor did not really come through all that well. Very friendly staff/owners. Parking can be a little had to find - we parked at a spot about a 5 min walk away. Gender neutral restroom located past the kitchen so they ask you to wear a mask while walking to the restroom. Outdoor and patio seating with very beautiful decor. Love the ambience and the whole vibe.

I've been a longtime, low-key regular at Hồng Phát for all things Vietnamese and random grocery needs, but this time I found my reason to shout about it. After what felt like a lifetime of hovering and debating, I finally went for it and picked up their Pâté Gan (liver spread) from the refrigerated deli case near the front. Let me tell you: SPREADABLE GOLD! 8oz hand-filled container for $5.95 and worth every single bite. Listed ingredients? Pork Liver, Pork Fat, Pork. (We all know there's more in there, but I'm not here to investigate, just to celebrate.) As a pâté-obsessed Bánh Mì DIY, this blew me away. -Texture: Silky and spreadable perfection. -Taste: Deep, rich, and satisfying without being overly gamey. - Smell: Divine, for those who love a good pâté, you know what I mean. Honestly, I still can't believe I slept on this for so long with my skepticism. If you're even mildly into pâté or making your own Bánh Mì at home: run, don't walk.

There were some good food choices, but some bad ones too (including some listed on their on-line menu that wasn't available), and the service was the opposite of friendly. Fork and Spoon was listed as one of the best Filipino restaurants in the Portland area. I wanted to go some place where the food was made-to-order. After looking at their really colorful and put together website, saw that they had dishes like Humba and Champurrado, along with what looked like Chicken Inasal. We found free street parking right in front. I noticed the sign that stated no public bathroom was available. The inside was very quiet, with one couple quieting eating their food, and an older non-customer gentleman minding his own business. We were taken to a table near a window, and given a menu. It's a very simple one, and none of the dishes I was looking for were listed. I asked the hostess/server about it, and she just shrugged and basically told me she had no idea. Yeah... So I reset, and ordered the things that we always order at a Filipino restaurant. COMBO Meal ($23) - Consisting of Pork Adobo, Rice, Bihon style pancit, and shangahi lumpia. The steamed rice was excellent...sounds goofy to say, but have had so much bad white rice at restaurants lately. The pork adobo was good, using very fatty pieces of pork, but cooked to be very tender without being mushy, and the strong sauce was great over the rice. I liked the pancit, with the large vegetable pieces and it worked since it had been made-to-order. But the lumpia was bad: it had been deep fried from frozen, and the center was still cold. Plus, the meat had been ground too finely, causing the filling to be mealy. Pork BBQ Skewer ($17) - three skewers of pork barbeque. It was thinly sliced and expertly skewered, but that's where the goodness ended. The sauce wasn't good, just a very weak teriyaki type sauce. The meat had quite a bit of gristle (which is OK with me if it has flavor, but this did not). It had been cooked on a flattop grill so missed the charring of the meat over fire. It just tasted old, like it had been reheated Have no idea why this is $17...the price fooled me into thinking this would be a 'deluxe' version of this classic...should be closer to $7.50, especially since it was served as an app (no rice or sides). Halo-Halo ($9) - a shareable ice cream dish, topped with a scoop of really good ube ice cream and a shower of fruity pebbles. It came with a piece of leche flan and various sweet beans and jelly at the bottom. I really liked this. My only wish was that it was made with shaved ice instead of crushed ice, but I understand it can be too time consuming. It just felt like we came to a place on a day (or time) when everyone was just trying to get through the day. The prices were good (except for the BBQ), and the portions decent. But along with unfriendly service and the hit/miss taste, it's a place I wouldn't go out of my way for (even though I love the name and their website).
