Super friendly folks and pretty, sustainable things, but bad form on not keeping at least a sample of their "extended" sizing in stock for try-ons. Us larger folks have market majority, and we'd like the same retail experience as anyone. I know you can order online through them, but I can do that at home too. I want to test new styles in store. Terrible customer service ,very disappointed .Purchased a pair of rain boots for my wife , two months later one of boots split from the seam , started to take water in ! I went on a Tuesday around noon and there was no line so can't comment on that experience. The staff were all very pleasant and attentive, and the store seemed clean, organized, and sizes were available. I did notice there were only like 2 dressing rooms so that is clearly part of the problem on busy days. It was great to be able to try things on in person and you can return products ordered online without the return shipping fee. The quality of their shoes and clothing appears to be high. read more

Don't waste your time ordering anything because if your order goes awry you will never get a refund from them and a claim with FedEx can't be processed without Everlane approval. My 2 dresses ordered back in May never arrived and now here it is August and no response other than "we're working on emails and will respond in the order received ". So I just had my first experience with Everlane. My son want a pair of me jeans he found some he like on your site I ordered and when the arrived they didn't fit. I ordered a different style and they were fine. So I had to do a return for the first pair. Went on line to do the return Two choices All your money as a credit Or less than you paid as a refund Then it says it can take 30 days to process once it gets to them. I choose to do a store credit rather give up about $10. It has been about 40 days since the return and today I emailed support and my refund As far as I can tell it was not processed until I emailed. I do request it be credited back to my CC as I have no intention of purchasing anything else from Everlane. I was heading to San Fran and knew I had to stop by the Everlane store while I was there! There are so many things online I wanted to order but I wanted the opportunity to see the items for myself first. Every single person working there was EXTREMELY helpful and so kind! I asked countless questions about sizing, products, etc. and they were so open to giving their suggestions and going out of their way to find stuff for me. I visited their store to see if they could do something about a puffer jacket I bought from them last year. I thought the zipper was broken. The one star is for the Asian guy who was the manager on January 7, 2019 in the evening. I was asking the girl who was trying to help me politely, this manager who was helping someone else at the time flatly said - oh that was last year, we can't do anything for you. Wouldn't even really engage me but was telling me from the next counter over without any five or care about my experience. I hope that everlane would stand by the quality of their products and treat their customers with respect. I wish I could give Everlane 5 stars but the quality of their clothing has really gone downhill. Too bad because they have some really cute things. I've always found the staff very helpful and kind but I'm afraid I'm not going to be shopping there anymore. I bought some tees a couple days ago and wore the new Henley today for 7 hours. When I took it off there was a big hole in the front. Not the first time their tees have gotten holes in them but I never tried this style before and now I know it's not the washing machine or dryer. It also got pretty stretched out and lost its fit. All the tees are going back :( read more

I purchased two items two weeks ago on their 25 percent off sale. They keep delaying shipping my order, allegedly because of Covid related problems, and now I just got another e mail stating they won't ship for another 12 days. However, if you purchase any items not on sale it will ship immediately. Interesting how they can ship the non sale items but not the sale items and are blaming covid. Came into the store to hopefully exchange for size, but the item was only available online. Was able to return in store and had the new item promptly shipped to me. The cashier was efficient and helpful. Glad to have avoided the $6 re-stock fed when returning by mail, but ended up spending just about that much in parking. Oh well... read more

The clothes are overpriced considering it's imported, also doesn't seem to work with union shops. However my complaint is primarily about their insipid, pretty vacant customer service methods. I'm not really a yelper and don't leave reviews on places, but I really think this feedback is warranted. I've loved seeing Everlane as a company grow and was so excited when a brick and mortar opened up right around the corner from my apartment. However, the few times I've been into the store have been pretty disappointing. I keep returning thinking things will have improved, but they just don't. I hadn't needed to stand in line to enter the store on any of my visits until today. I had about an hour to find an outfit for a big meeting and hoped to swing by the store quickly to check out my options. The store looked virtually empty, but there was a line outside of about 20 people. Not wanting to give up, but very confused as to why I was waiting outside like it was a privilege to enter the store, I stood in the line. About every 2 minutes someone walked past and either a. Asked me why I was standing in line for a clothes store, b. Made fun of the whole like for waiting in line for a clothes store or c. Made a snarky comment about gentrification and the mission. On top of that it was freezing and probably the windiest day of the year. I don't have a problem with lines, but I do have a problem with being forced to stand out in the cold, being made fun of by random people, for absolutely no other apparent reason than to boost a brand's image. If the store was actually crowded and full of clothes, I wouldn't have had a problem. Once I got into the store (around 30 minutes later), the inventory was basically non-existent and of what was available, there was only a size 0 or 12. The staff was neither friendly nor helpful. Been this store several times, but most of my experience not really pleasant. When I went for the grand opening & soft opening I had good experiences (most of the staff worked on the line outside is friendly). Then it was totally different when I went after those 2 big evens. The staff turned snobby, it feels like you bother them when you try to ask for the size or color. I did give this brick and mortar store a chance several times .. no change the staffs still snobby and not even say "Hi" or basic line, " let me know if you have any questions or if you need help with size " that's is so basic.. I understand if the store busy but when my husband and I went there was no line neither crowded so there is no excuse for the staff not to greet us and make us feels that we were bothering them when we asked about the item availability. I do like their products and purchased several items, but if I keep having bad experience every time I visit this store, I will re route my shopping path to apparel store near by like nooworks or voyager. I do have to mention there is one staff that always friendly ( Black haired guy with tattoos) most of the time he work at the cashier or returns bar. read more

I was waiting 40 minutes in line. Once I was inside the store itself is ok, but they didn't have my S size of the jacket I came for. So that's a big tradeoff to wait for 40 minutes just to confirm they dont have your thing. Please fix this. read more

Everlane has the worst customer service of any clothing company I've ever bought from. First of all, there is no phone number for customer service you can call. Second of all, you have to wait weeks or months for customer service to respond to your emails. They tried to tell me that I was getting refunded instant store credit because my credit card had been denied at the time of purchase and so they had to apply my store credit. But it was the first time I had bought from them so I had no store credit, and there was a charge on my card. After multiple weeks they finally agreed to give me a refund to my credit card, but instead of refunding me they charged me again! They stopped responding to my emails. This was ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE, EVER. I was looking forward to buying from Everlane for so long. In fact, the jeans are really nice. But I am so incredibly disappointed at their customer service. Several of my friends who have bought from Everlane recently have also had a similar experience. This is absolutely unacceptable. They are literally making people wait in line to get INSIDE of the store because there is a wait for fitting rooms. They are obviously trying to create an artificial demand. Very disappointing considering the 45 minute wait. The sock is just as limited as their pop up with the exception of more shoes and purses/backpacks. A lot was also out of stock, and considering how busy they've been they should have planned better. Honestly, if you know your size then just save yourself the trouble and backache and just buy online. The stock in store is extremely limited both item and size wise. I spent like 10 minutes in there and left with a mens crew neck terry sweater because the women's was more crop top style whereas the men's fit appropriately. read more
